Regarding Conan O'Brien's remarks on comedy.....RIGHT ON ! imo, his take on what is good comedy is why so many ppl now complain about the current late night hosts after watching a Johnny Carson or Craig Ferguson vid. Overly snide political humor or cerebral humor just doesn't compare with just plain FUNNY. We need more SILLY now. Not snobbish staged laughter. Is Conan still around here in 2024?? Wish Craig Ferguson would come back & and I really miss Johnny 😢😢 Thank God for tv syndication and You Tube vids. 😄🎉✌
Never saw Lou Reed the way David Bowie or Patti Smith did, much less as an artist superior to Bob Dylan in some way. Neil Young appears incapable of delivering a straight answer to any question. But I'm no fan of pop music. Not the way the interviewer was. But I loved the Conan O''Brien interview. Not just because I agreed with him but because I feel comedians' reliance on political subjects have become part of a much larger problem - a problem they're meant to provide relief from, not intensify.
@@GHOSTbirdnatureLOVERWhat's pretentious about Lou's lyrics? - Dylan's lyrics are all too often, dense, cryptic and inscrutable. Combine that with his claim to be a song & dance man who uses words for effect. You end up with Procol Harum's 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' Lol.
David Bowie could probably make a prison jumpsuit look like peak fashion, I swear to god.
congrats on being the only human comment here 🎉
Thing is with an interview, it's nice to hear the interviewer's questions as well as the answers.

Patti Smith is not only an 'American Treasure,' she will be a historical figure.
"I tend to be far more baroque than Lou, but that's the British in me. I say what I mean eventually...I tend to go the long way round though" Bowie.
Briliaint man and artist.
Who?
Bowie, the Rock God❤❤❤
So David Geffen is so powerful because he implies that he could blackmail you. But not "maliciously." 😂😂😂

reed’s lyrics are pretentious and cringeworthy
I think Neil Young’s take on Geffen was very insightful. I have a good picture of him now.
@@winterbird4447 True. It does offer that.
