Okay, I love the painters tape picture hanging hack, the faux wood bottle/vase; and the last two tips, the rubber bands brush wiper is genius and the sweater hanging hack is so cool.
Thank you for doing these! I am an old lady who does not enjoy Tik Tok so this was wonderful to watch and I will be saving this video to go back and use most of these tips. Awesome! Thanks so much!
I loved the last one about hanging sweaters because I live for fall to arrive so I can wear all my big cozy sweaters and boy do I have a lot!Thank you for that!
Someone probably mentioned this already; but for the painters tape/drill bit hack: instead of completely wrapping your tape around the bit, try folding it around and creating a little “flag” by attaching the sticky side to sticky side on the ends. It will be easier to see your progress.
WD40 removes all the sticky stuff, very easily.I lay a piece of papertowel over the sticky spot, spray it with WD40,and in just a couple minutes the stickeness comes off clean as a whistle.
Yes...works good. Also GOO GONE works great too. Just a dab onto t shirt fabric will work as you rub off the residue. GOO GONE is found at Dollar Tree stores and most hardware stores. I love using it. God bless! Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
For your paint cans .. you really should use a different vessel to actually paint your walls with or whatever your painting with it'll save your paint you'll be able to keep it longer because bacteria from the walls or whatever else you're painting will go back into your fresh paint but besides that, if you take a drill with a very small bit or smaller than the rim of your paint can and drill holes how about 3 in around part of the rim of your can anytime you get paint on the inside rim of your can it will just drip back into your paint can. Hope you try it thanks for your tips love them
A juicing secret for next time: Roll your orange, lemon, lime or grapefruit on your counter before poking it with your chopstick, THEN squeeze. This method works great for all citrus fruits making juicing easy in ANY form. 💚💛💜 Happy New Year!!!
If you are a renter and you want to hang some thing on the walls. Get some sewing straight pens with out the color heads. The straight pens leaves a very small hole in the wall. I even hang some heavy iron decor with the straight pens and yes the pins will hold the iron. Been doing this for years even when I was a renter and I got my deposit back. Its better than using a big nail. When using the pins angel the pin down in sheet rock. Avoid the suds at all times. I love to crocket. One day I thought why not crochet around my hangers. For you crocheters start out with a chain leave a long tail on both ends start to finished. Make you chain longer than your hanger that way you can bunch it up when your finished. Bunching is better but you don't need a lot of it. After the chain you can single or double crochet in the chain. Make sure the crochet can wrap around the hanger before finishing your project. After that get a crochet needle whip your chain down around your hanger. When you're finished tie off and leave another long tail so you can tie your master piece to the bottom of the hook. The tails can be in a knot or knot and bow then straighten you work out. The bunching helps with the sweater shoulders. If you have tank tops with the thin straps they will go on and they don't slip off easy. These hangers are great for yours or and your husband's slacks. Happy nailing art work with straight pens and crocheting your hangers. :) :) :)
I LOVE hack videos! TY for sharing all of these. Some I already use, but others I wouldn't have thought of myself. I didn't know about the orange peeling trick. Thanks for that because I have two oranges I've been meaning to eat, but hate getting my hands all sticky. And I'm definitely making some Quesadillas for lunch today! TY for that hack as well. Here are a few ideas that I use: *When vacuuming under the washer/dryer, refrigerator, etc., spray the paper towel tube with a light mist of spray adhesive first. It will pull out way more lint, dust, and even small items that may be lurking under the appliance. *If looking for a small hard to see item (like an earring or contact) that you may have dropped, put a piece of panty hose or a sock over the hose of the vacuum and hold it in place. Then run the hose around the area that the item was dropped. It will get sucked up to the pantyhose or sock, but not sucked into the vacuum itself. *To clean ridges in window sills or door thresholds, etc, I use an old toothbrush or baby bottle brush and a paper towel dampened with Awesome Cleaner (from DT) or a Clorox wipe. *I use scotch tape that I cut with a nail clipper as my guide for a French Manicure. But instead of using nail polish, I use a paint maker. lol. Of course I put a top coat of clear nail polish, but whatever gets on my skin just washes right off. Plus, I don't have to maneuver a small nail polish brush AND I can use any color I want! *I've also used permanent vinyl that I cut with my Silhouette to fit my whole fingernail. It comes in handy when you need a quick color manicure. One more thing- you can write a note in lemon juice using a paint brush, and to make the writing show up, just heat it up with something (like a blow dryer). When it cools, the writing will disappear again. Sorry for the novel long comment. I just wanted to share these with you in hopes they may be a help to you in the future. I don't normally share videos, but this one is worth it. Have a happy and blessed Easter!
When using screwdriver to open paint can use screwdriver and hammer and pop a few holes along the paint can rim to let paint drip back in without the getting drill out to make the holes much easier to wipe off screwdriver then drill.
Thank you so much for sharing the tip on how to hang and level everything without messing up your walls I really did appreciate that tip and trick you showed us with the tape and a little tax thank you so much my awesome friend for helping so much
I have been doing that with my bread for years. Works great. I need to do my dryer, I am going to try the paper towel roll trick. I love the sponge trick, too, I hate doing window sills. The last one, for hanging the sweater, was the best. Thank you!!!
To get rid of sticky residue on plastic (don't use Goof Off!) you can put a little eucalyptus essential oil on a cotton ball and give it a little rub...doesn't damage the plastic!
Hi great video, the orange hack you can do the same for boiled eggs it all comes off in one go , thank you so much for sharing looking forward to your next video 😁🇬🇧
These are great hacks Emily! I have one for your paint cans, my husband does a lot of painting, he takes a nail and puts holes in between the rim of the paint can. No more build up or waste of paint. Tyfs.
Easy way to butter corn on the cob, butter a slice of bread and then roll the corn on the bread. And then you also have a slice of buttered bread for your meal.
Rhonda Allen when I was younger (50++years ago) while visiting my best friends home for dinner, that was the way they buttered their corn on the cob, I had never heard of it before that.
First thing you do is you throw out plastic hangers. Never use plastic hangers. Never use wire hangers. Get yourself to Costco. Spent $13 on 35 of the black flocked hangers. Your sweaters were big beautiful. It is really worth it. And for your jackets and for your shirts and stuff really and truly no lie. The hackers get in the car and go to Costco. You will be pleased
I enjoyed your videos, some I will definitely use, especially the swear hack. How come I never thought of that??11 lol I wish I'd known this hack 30 years ago. I'll try many other also. I love your tutorial. Keep up the great work. Thanks.
Wow! These are wonderful! And you, my dear, are simply precious... Very real, it felt like I was at my girlfriend's house and we were talkin' about, just, "stuff", y'know? Thanks from your newest subbie in the southern California desert, MK ❤️🌞🌵
I sometimes use my wood burning tool with the tip that looks like the end of a blade. And if I have to cut the plastic with scissors, I place a piece of parchment paper over the jagged edge and apply an iron at low heat. It melts the plastic (of course) and you can keep melting it down until the edges are flush.
These were all good but you just changed my life with the painters tape on the back of a picture with 2 hooks!!!! I HATE hanging those and i can never get them even!!!
I paint a lot and a great hack is to take a nail and hammer and nail some holes around the inside lip where the paint gathers, that way the paint drains back into the can .
@@aprilarlanhoneycutt425 drill or nail the holes straight down into the lowest point of the lip. Sort of like drain hole in a “moat” - the part of the lid that you hammer into the can will cover it - especially if you use in conjunction with the cling wrap hack. 😀 Hope that helps!
Or put a piece of parchment paper over a clothes iron, leave the iron standing up, and quickly and gently rub the cut end of the plastic over that. But my iron disappeared somehow so I will be using YOUR idea!!!!
Another handy way to clean the window tracks: wrap a wet rag around a screw driver and insert into crevices to clean out, then wipe the rest down with rag. ❤
Some of those hacks are from back in the day that I have seen before, but it was nice of you to share because they are great ideas grouped together. Thank for bringing them back to me. I also learned something new. God bless you and continue to stay safe.
The wood vase is glorious!

If you take a nail and hammer holes into the groove around your paint can the excess will drop back into the can and not fill up
Loved the picture hanging tip, and peeling the orange with the spoon - brilliant!
Pop orange in microwave a few seconds to help the juice flow before you poke it. Then squeeze into glass.
I loved the last one about hanging sweaters because I live for fall to arrive so I can wear all my big cozy sweaters and boy do I have a lot!Thank you for that!
I’m going to try that dryer hack with the vacuum and the paper towel center. Dryer lint is responsible for a lot of fires
Definitely trying the picture hanging ones! Thanks 😊
Love the spoon trick to peel an orange! Thank you!!
'Wooden' looking vase looks phenomenal. It's my favourite.
Someone probably mentioned this already; but for the painters tape/drill bit hack: instead of completely wrapping your tape around the bit, try folding it around and creating a little “flag” by attaching the sticky side to sticky side on the ends. It will be easier to see your progress.
They were really helpful! Thanks 😊
Love how you explain everything so well! These are so fun! I can’t wait to try them!
Glad you liked them
Hiya Emily. Those were absolutely neato. That plastic vase was stunning in texture. I can't even with the sweater. Never ever thought of that.
Emily, these were great you had so many I had never seen before. Hope you'll do more of these it fun to learn great little tips and tricks. Thanks ☺

love all those hacks! thanks for sharing :D
Loved the grilled cheese in flour tortilla hack 👍 also the use of painters tape for mark the exact measure for the double hook picture frame
Loved the last jumper one 👏

Was going to suggest the same. Works also for cutting up citrus wedges for mixed drinks!
Also you can put in microwave a couple seconds or minute before rolling. Heat loosens the juice from the fruit
Another idea for cleaning the door or window track is to use a small damp paint brush. It gets into the crevices perfectly. Then wipe away the excess.
Some great tips! Thanks for sharing.
They were great. Thanks for giving us your time🤯

A fair number of these were actually new to me! I've seen versions of the sweater hanging one but yours seems a lot simpler. TFS! ❤
This is so cool💜
Thank you for the "wooden" vase. Great decor for my herbs.
Some of the best hacks ever! Thanks so much!

oh my gosh!!! these were soooooo helpful!!! i've got to try the one to peel an orange!! life-changing!! thank you!!!!!!!!
Thank you! Great tips!! 👍👍
Very helpful! Thanks for sharing 👍
Love these kinds of hacks!!!! Look forward to many more I hope 😻
Thanks
Got to use the bread one today.
Hi great video, the orange hack you can do the same for boiled eggs it all comes off in one go , thank you so much for sharing looking forward to your next video 😁🇬🇧
Also will use the sweater hanging hack and the paper towel vacuum idea.
Great, thx for sharing
Glad you liked it
Oh my god? Yes on the Dyson hack with cleaning the filter. I've got everything and I can do it. Hot damn I'm gonna try that one
These are great hacks Emily! I have one for your paint cans, my husband does a lot of painting, he takes a nail and puts holes in between the rim of the paint can. No more build up or waste of paint. Tyfs.
That’s so easy and useful! Thank you I’ll have to try it
Good tip, thanks!
Love it!
Thank you for ideas
Thank you👍😊
Many of these hacks very useful.😊

What a great idea!!
Great ideas
Great tips!!
Very helpful thank you
Really nice. Use a hammer and nail around the rim of paint can creating several homes for the paint to drip back into can.
These are all so amazing! I will definitely try the sweater one, & the grilled cheese too.
Awesome 👏 tips
Thanks 💃
Did you roll the orange against f.i a table before you poked it?
I about had a heart attack when you drilled on your countertop.
Good hacks. The bandaid one seems wasteful. I would use painters tape.
I loved all the hacks. I’ll be using some. If you come up with more please share. If I come up with any hacks I’ll share as well.

Cool 😎
Try rolling the orange First then poke a whole and sqeeze
You should have rolled the orange first. It will juice much easier.
Here's a great trick for cutting plastic...use a lighter and heat up the blade. It will cut right through that plastic like butter!
I sometimes use my wood burning tool with the tip that looks like the end of a blade. I just got a hot knife at Michael's. Can't wait to try it.
Eventually, the acid you used to erase the highlighter is going to eat through the paper; that's why archive quality paper is acid-free.
This comment did not earn you a kissy heart, lol. But you are absolutely right 🙂
Loved the hanging tips! I HAVE SOME HOLES IN MY WALLS Lol!
Tap a small nail into the ridge of the paint can and poke holes. The paint will drain back into the can!
These were all good but you just changed my life with the painters tape on the back of a picture with 2 hooks!!!! I HATE hanging those and i can never get them even!!!
They are a pain
Cyndi brent, there's a level on Iphone so you don't have to look for a level. It also measures. 👋
I saw on youtube that those 2 hangers on the back of pictures are there for the wire used to hang pictures.
I paint a lot and a great hack is to take a nail and hammer and nail some holes around the inside lip where the paint gathers, that way the paint drains back into the can .
But wouldn't that leave holes in the can? How will that be an airtight seal for left overs?

@@cruachaner Thanks for the explanation Cheryl Campbell! I'm going to try it because I'm currently painting the kitchen cabinets. Thanks!
For the vase you can also heat a pan up. Put foil down and gently rub the "vase" on it and the plastic wont be sharp after you cut it
Or put a piece of parchment paper over a clothes iron, leave the iron standing up, and quickly and gently rub the cut end of the plastic over that. But my iron disappeared somehow so I will be using YOUR idea!!!!
From the school products section, you can buy the three ring binder white hole reinforcement stickers on my nails to paint a seamless French manicure
Another handy way to clean the window tracks: wrap a wet rag around a screw driver and insert into crevices to clean out, then wipe the rest down with rag. ❤
Use a nail and hammer 6 holes around the inner lip of the paint can. All paint falls back into can.
I added that also sorry I didn't see your previous comment..it is a great hack
I've done this for years.
That was great, and I learned so many things that I will definitely use! Would love to see more some time. Thank you.💓
