Even though you didn’t like the sock painting , I really might give it a try on chair spindles as they are my least favourite part of painting , I guess it also must depend on getting the right amount of pain on without it squishing in the sock 🧦 😂 Thanks for the tips ..love from Au ❤️
Some of these are great! Loved the paintbrush and tape hacks! I wouldn't like the sock hack, either. Maybe for staining, but I feel I need a different kind of control for painting.
A better way to clean rusty tools: Use white vinegar and water - 1/4 to 1/2 to water. Soak 24 hours, then soak in water only to stop the oxidization. Works a charm.
To be honest i think the one hack with the sock and paint i personally think it would work best if someone was staining something so the sock would be easier to get in n the cracks of things so i think the sock is a good idea for staining
We nurses have always folded over a tiny bit of the ripped tape so they next person doesn’t struggle finding the beginning. I do it to all my tapes! The hoops and measuring tape are great hacks. Thank you ! Also vinegar works de scumming with out the chemicals .
I have always wrapped brushes and also paint rollers in cling wrap instead of zip lock which traps air. I placed wrapped brushes and rollers in the freezer, since sometimes I have to go from one weekend to another to work on project. Thanks for ideas on your channel.
When my Cricut mat starts to lose it's stickiness I tape off the very edges with masking tape. Then, I give it a light coat of basting spray. It works like a charm on its own, but coupling that with the Windex hack...I may never have to buy another mat, again!
I've been putting my paint brushes in the fridge or freezer, for years, aluminum wrap, definitely the way to go. As for the glue gun hack, I just tried it today (before video) and made the same discovery, hence mess. Lol
If using water based paint I just dampen several kitchen paper squares, wrap them around the brush bristles, and put the whole package inside a grocery store veggie bag wrapped tight. No need to use the fridge or freezer, and cheaper than using foil, since the clear bags we put our veggies in at the store are free too and being reused is good. I don't like the idea of dirty brushes in my fridge or freezer, unless it's absolutely necessary. The embroidery hack is great, I love reusing things and if it saves money too then all the better.👍😊
I love Seeing you try all these out. Although I knew Most of them before there was a Tik Tok (ooops! I’m giving away my age!). My favorite is the foil and the paint brush! Best tip I ever learned.
Some great ideas! Thanks for sharing. With the hack for clearing rust from the tools, I'm wondering whether replacing the salt with bicarb would stop the oxidation?
The Cricut mats can be cleaned with dollar tree awesome and to not have to clean them again cover them in nice clear transfer tape or contact paper and for most things the machine has no idea it's there. I have used the paint brush in the fridge with a good zip lock bag for several months and they were good. I like this but wanted to share that little trick for anyone that uses a Cricut.
I'll tell you this on your pink fabric matt, it saves it for ever. Happy to help it's so simple we overthought it. My makes never known it was there. 😉
I like the tin foil idea. My husband normally puts our brushes in a plastic bag in the refrigerator or the freezer. We will try the tin foil and see what happens. thank you.
I have to agree with you on the glue stick trick. I tried it to and found it left a mess inside my glue gun. I like the little embroidery hoop idea. I wonder if when your done with the project if you could paint the hoop and add a hanger to it for a small project. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day.
Love the embroidery and Cricut Mat hack

I've stored my brushes like that for years. Really works well
Great measuring tape hack. Thanks for your reviews. You look nice too! 😊
Love the tape roll hack! The embroidery hoop one is good, too!
Oh my gosh! Your hair! SO cute! Thanks for testing the hacks for us! Very useful information!

Perhaps I should try with stain then 🤷♀️
We stick our paint brushes and rollers in plastic grocery bags and then into the freezer. Always have.
Awesome!
The tape measure hack is very helpful 👍
I have been wrapping my brushes in plastic cling wrap and it works really well..stays fresh for days.
Have a great, relax night everyone and a new bright beginning tomorrow🙏

The measuring tape hack... Mind blowing
Sara Nena DIY
My Mom used to wrap her paint brushes and rollers and put them in the freezer. They lasted for months!
Love your hair and just your whole aesthetic in this video!!
Thanks!
You should make this a regular series! Love the ideas and love that you try them and rate them!
Thank you!
The embroidery hook hack was my favorite. Paint brush in foil is great too

The foil hack for paint brushes sounds amazing and the painters tape hack is brilliant. Thanks for sharing!
This was a great idea!! The paint brush in the foil is excellent!
Love the tape and cricut hack. Thanks for doing this
The tape can just be folded on the very end so you don't have any waste 😊
I appreciate the painter's tape folding hack and the tape measure hack. Many thanks!
Someone who’s also worried about her marble each time she do diy’s!? =D
It's a fake slab on my island. 😅
A scotch brite pad or steel wool cleans rust off of metal
Baby wipes work great for cricut/silhouette mats. If real bad nasty, use L.A. Totally Awesome from Dollar 🌳
I'll have to try that!

I'll have to try that! Thanks!
Great video and thanks for the tips Christina. Have a great week!
The sock hack is better on the stair spindles x
I agree with you on the hot glue hack, putting hot glue on the glue stick does cause residue inside of the gun! Loved them all! Thanks Christina xx
Thank you!
Surprised by the embroidery hoop hack. Please show us how your gifts turn out 🌸🌸🌸
That one surprised me too!
I love the paintbrush and Cricut mat hacks! Thank you for sharing and testing them out for us!
Thanks for watching!
I put mine in the freezer. It is those brushes used for painting trim which I don’t touch-up that often. It is oil paint.
Great! Thanks!!
I like the cricut mat sprayed with windex, and the paint brush in the tinfoil
I’ll have to try both😁
Those were my favourites too!
I love Seeing you try all these out. Although I knew Most of them before there was a Tik Tok (ooops! I’m giving away my age!). My favorite is the foil and the paint brush! Best tip I ever learned.
Not the 🖌 used in Bathroom 🚽
I like the Cricut mat hack 👍🏼
This was awsome. 😀❤️🇨🇦
Do not like tiktok just sayin
I love your channel and am so happy o see you haven't started Christmas crafts yet!
They're coming! LOL! Lot's of requests already!
I am loving these kinds of videos, Christina! Thank you for doing these, my favorite is the embroidery hoop out of yogurt containers! WOW!
I couldn't believe that one worked so well! Thanks for watching.
Some great ideas! Thanks for sharing. With the hack for clearing rust from the tools, I'm wondering whether replacing the salt with bicarb would stop the oxidation?
I think the oxidation was from the vinegar. Vinegar can be quite harsh on metals.
Not too sure! I might try it mixed with water like another viewer suggested.
I use vinegar and bicarb with a sheet of aluminium foil at the bottom of the dish to remove tarnish from my stainless steel cutlery. Comes up a treat.

I've never tried that!

The plastic hoop! Picture frames?
Great idea!
I like the tin foil idea. My husband normally puts our brushes in a plastic bag in the refrigerator or the freezer. We will try the tin foil and see what happens. thank you.

👏🏻Thank you so much for testing these hacks. I will use the paint brush in fridge, the measuring tape & the embroidery hacks.💖
So many great ones! The Cricut mat cleaning is my fave as I've been wondering about this lately. -Jane
Definitely give it a try!
The first one!
Lets pray for the Tommy H. sock ..
It didn't make it... but his mate had disappeared a long time ago ;)
Love the Cricut mat hack & paint brushes! I too use plastic bags and am excited to try them both! 😊👍❤
I’ve always put my paint/ brushes in the fridge. I’ve never had an issue! ☺️
It’s a tie between the paint brush and the Cricut mat cleaning. Thanks for sharing.
I did the aluminum foil brush thing and did not even see the hack on TikTok lol I don’t even have the app
Love the idea of cleaning your Cricut mat. Great money saver. Thank you for that !
I like the paint brushes hack and the painters tape hack very helpful.
Aluminum foil for the paint brushes is such a good idea. I usually use a zip loc and it dries out so quick.
I wrap my paint brushes in plastic wrap between uses. Seals nicely.
Love all of these hacks especially the embroidery hoop! Thanks!
The embroidery hoop hack is awesome! Thank you
Great tips..very helpful..tyfs♡
With the paint brush, I spray it with water and wrap it in plastic wrap...it keeps for a month.
Amazing!
Will definitely use the round lid/ hoop idea- for making wreaths or snowmen!!😀
Love that idea!
Great tips we need more. Love the embroidery hoop. Thank you!
Thanks Carolle!
Great- thanks for this! Using the paint in the fridge and the winded with the cricut mats.
Another great trip on mats keep them covered in transfer tape or contact paper and they won't get dirty.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you!
Must say your ziplock bag was way too small👎
