🟢 Organization Hacks Dollar Tree ruclips.net/video/j8ZMW8vF1ZI/видео.html I'm still filming the organization video for my neighbors pantry and I can't guesstimate when that video will be ready at this time, but realistically after editing I'm thinking it will be ready for uploading the last week of April or early May. I really want to make this pantry a space that is functional and useful for her family so it is taking us a little longer than expected to finish the makeover and filming. Let me know what else you are interested in seeing this summer and I will see what I can do! Much love ❤ -Megan
Yay! So happy to see you! I would love to see some outdoor/patio hacks or decor on a budget, cause I’m definitely on a budget but anything on like curb appeal(on a budget) would be cool. If there is such a thing 😉
Love that planter that you covered with the caulk and painted. FYI if you need holes for ANY plastic planter, use your hand held soldering iron. I have found this to be better than drilling. Plastic planters have become so cheap and brittle that I was having a problem with breakage. By the way Love your channel !!!
I have so many containers. There's something about their sturdiness that makes it impossible to throw away. Hubby and I were watching a documentary about all the plastic being thrown in the ocean. Hubby said, "We're definitely not guilty of that!" So now I know what to do with them. I might do this to the Folger cans. They are the perfect size for a spare roll of toilet paper.
I like the wreath idea! I could see making those to match the season or holidays even. Just grab a few of the hula hoops and keep them to make a wreath for spring, Easter, Valentine's day, etc.
Flip those brackets upside down, and you've got a much cheaper alternative to the shelf brackets sold by the hardware stores (and you can still hang a dowel!)
My simpleton response, generated from like minded thinking, is that if you set a simple budget of dollars and commit to buying that many dollars of dollar tree items per some arbitrary time frame, say a month, you'll eventually find yourself swamped with ways to make use of what you find there. Alternatively, you could visit the store on a regular basis so that you eventually think of it as your junk drawer and you will likely start coming up with novel ways to utilize what they offer. Good luck!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how you recycle, create and make such useful things!!! My Dollar Tree never has any caulking! You've shown another method of painting plastic pots, using stencils that looked great. Who knew Hulu Hoop wreaths!!! THANKS!!!
All of these are great hacks - thank you!! I'm currently finishing a project with a DT hoola hoop (a lighted hanging wreath chandelier).. it's going to look so fabulous! I used the hoola hoop to create a huge faux grapevine wreath. Greenery and then fairy lights (with a remote) wrapped around it will be the finishing touch. Love your videos!!
The DT hooks on the fence is brilliant!!! My fave way to use DT's chair pads (aside from the conventional use) is as a leveler under wobbly table legs, etc. I also use them on the back of artwork/wreaths to prevent scratches on doors, etc.
I LOVE videos like this, so yes, make more! I have some dollar tree hacks you might like, too! *Re-use $🌳 chalk markers. Dip the dried-out tip into paint & use like a marker for lettering & detailing *THIS IS MY ALL-TIME #1 TIP! Goo Gone is sold at most $ 🌳stores in the craft or hardware aisle. It will take dried up paint off your brushes like MAGIC!! Pour a little bit onto the bristles & rub in. Let sit for a minute or 2. Rinse with hot water while rubbing the bristles. Repeat if necessary.
I use Dollar Tree's frame stand as an easel/stand for my Kindle Tablet. I crochet and download lots of crochet patterns and pattern books to my Kindle. It's a great way to have my pattern at an angle I can comfortably work from and not have to stop stitching to adjust my tablet or get a crick in my neck looking down at the pattern.
My stepmom introduced me to your channel, I am a DIY\crafter and have done so many of your projects, I've done a lot and some I treat to fit my liking but girl, you keep making these vids, I love love love them! Thank you
I love these dollar tree hacks. Most of these ideas I would never think of without your videos. I have always been a look inside the box kinda gal, which I don't understand. My mom looked outside the box and created things like a bookshelf cabinet from the old cabinet left from our old picture tube TV when it broke for the last time. She was always coming up with things like that. We lived in the country and we burned paper rubbish all the time. When the burner became worthless, she took the drum from an old washing machine and turned it into the burner. It was heavy duty steel and that thing lasted for ever. Thanks for these great ideas. Ideas that I can absolutely use and will save me a ton of money.
Omg im gonna do all of these!!!! We live on a farm and im going to put the solar lights going out back to the animals. We usually just carry a big flash light to feed at night. But all of the projects were great!!!
I don’t hate DT. It is actually my favorite place to stop every week. I love your ideas with DT stuff you are genius. I Looove your vibe and of course you make up. Greetings from NYC 🗽
I absolutely LOVE the hula hoop wreath hack. I've been wanting some wreaths for around some lights on the front of my house but the size I need is way out of budget. I'm very excited to try this.
I love your hack videos because it's not the same old thing you see on most of the other channels. I love seeing something new and different that I haven't thought of. Also love your commentary! It's nice and casual like a chat between friends instead of sounding like a prepared script.
I enjoyed all the hacks. I plan to use the plant hooks as double curtain rods very soon! And thank you so much for telling us about your husband's need to use a level! Don't tell him, but I am enjoying a good laugh over that one!
Love this! Please, do more! Could you do more of the trash to treasure; like the cheeseball container. Thanks! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family! Happy Easter
Just found you! What a joy you are. You actually make the projects and many of them in one video. So many people talk for 15 minutes and do not make a thing. I love that you are all over the board with all types of projects. Thank you and please keep posting. Your new devoted fan. Be well.
I am blown away by ALL your hacks. I would never think of using products for anything than their intended use. Which is why I watch RUclips for inspiration lol. You are my number one. But I also miss your DIY’s. And most of all... your wreath making skills
My daughter just got her very first apartment. So I’m going to share these with her. What a great way she can decorate & still afford her rent. Thanks for the great ideas!!
I agree! I started off making a whole "pool noodle hack" video, but I didn't have enough ideas outside what has been done 300,567 times before 🤣 Much love to you girlfriend 😘
I just purchased stacking washer /dryer set. Instead of stacking them I placed them next to each other and im in the process of throwing a counter top on top of them. I bet if you do that with yours it will look amazing. Throw on a coat of paint on the walls with some decor and a few shelves and you’ll have a nice new laundry nook!
My laundry nook won't fit a washer and dryer next to each other unless they are compact size. The space is only 27 inches deep and we wouldn't be able to shut the door to the right. I would prefer a non stacked like you have with a counter if it was possible
@@GlueGunsRoses I went back to look again and I noticed it wasn’t large enough to fit side by side! You are so creative, I have no doubt you can turn it into an amazing space!
The planter is right up my alley and the cheese all containers - brilliant!! Can't wait to try. I'm usually not that big in Dollar Tree videos, but I ALWAYS watch yours 🙂. Just love your ideas, thanks Megan ❤️🙂
The solar light on the broom handle, the over the door rack (outside on the fence!), and the recycled cheese ball container are my favorites! I also love the felt pads. I use them everywhere! Great video! I love your sense of humor! You always make me smile ☺️
I love your dollar tree decor hacks!! Dot is the place to be and you give me inspiration to spruce up my spaces with things that look awesome but don’t cost a fortune....and I love to diy!!
Hubby either needs to do it himself or stay in his lane. They wait until you have a great idea and do it, then they come along and tell you how you shoulda done it and take credit for making it BETTER. Step off!!!
There's like a bazillion things that are way more worthwhile to use a dollar tree level for. then leveling a torch pole. The gross of levels i bought for them have never been use for such a pointless task. He doesn't need to stay in hi lane because he's not even driving on the road!
I'm glad you didn't pull an April fool's prank. The only "fools" are the ones who don't like saving time and money or who don't like your videos. Great video!
The Tree is my decorating jam! I've used the flowers on barrettes to add a decorative flair to boxes n canisters I purchased at Michael's after Christmas for .50 and .20 and covered with gorgeous turquoise peacock foil wrapping paper I found at Tuesday Morning for $1.99! I've found amazing wrapping paper at Dollar Tree, Michael's and Tuesday Morning for $1-$2.99 and mod podged and decoupaged boxes, vases, tables, lamps you name it and they turned out beautifully! I've used the wrapping paper to cover shelving, picture frames...endless uses! At Lowe's, Home Depot and Walmart Opps Paint is the first n only paint I buy! I've purchased $40 gallons of off white, light beige, light green etc for $5 -$10 each and then get various colors of the 2 oz - 16 oz craft paint at Walmart and turn that Opps paint into whatever color I want or need! I'll buy some really wild colors as well...a deep very very dark teal and added white or beige or even the very light celery green and with the craft paint added an 8 oz metallic silver and 4 2 oz bottles of metallic sky blue and a 2 oz bottle of rose gold...it then became an amazing metallic light blue-gray. Opps paint is Opps paint...I mix flat, satin, semi-gloss, high gloss, matte, enamel interior exterior and even spray paint together! I found 6 qts of I believe it was Martha Stewart white chalk milk paint at Lowe's originally $30 a qt...I mean really Martha!...for $2.50 each! I bought a $35 gallon of the ugliest orange paint for $5 and with a few of the 2 oz red .50 or .97 craft paint turned it into a beautiful barn red and painted the trim in my kitchen! So think outside the bucket y'all....lol...one person's exterior bright bubble gum pink...opps what were these folks thinking and painting that exterior color... can be your new red front door or incredibly inviting warm chocolate Carmel macchiato or deep metallic rose taupe or even a medium moss or jade green living room or your daughter's metallic lilac or medium lavender bedroom or your hubby's man cave deep blue gray or your son's goth black stage that will hopefully pass really soon!! The $1 samples are great buys! I guess I should make some videos n post them! Curtain Panels in the clearance section of Ollies for $1.50 easily tyrn into shower curtains with a seam ripper, pins, a tape measure, scissors along with stitch witchery and don't be afraid to use the steam setting on your iron! Whoever invented that awesome stuff never actually used it or had days to stitch witch a 2 foot seam! Just check it often n used a lighter touch...or press that puppy together hot n hard with that steaming iron! Ollie's also has awesome deals on peel n stick tile with a decent selection 25 tiles for $9.99. I've found gorgeous 60" wide fabric at Walmart for $1 a yard...I usually buy all 10, 11 or 12 yards! This is usually found at Walmarts with a larger fabric section. So there's a few of my hacks that I use all the time! Currently hacking a bathroom n hallway, a chest of drawers and a baker's rack and a pedestal and an old window frame! I always forget to take before pics...never fails.
Great ideas. I have been sitting here all day trying to figure out the easiest way to make some vases and planters.....that caulk looked amazing. Thank you, for showing us the easiest way. These were all some great ideas. I am so excited to try them tomorrow.
I work for our County's Retired Seniors Volunteer Program. Every month, until funds fun out, we have a craft project for our volunteers to do, well the 1st 20 who call and reserve a kit. We try and have projects that they will enjoy and keep after the fact. The ideas that you shared are perfect for our budget.💗
I'm so stoked... I have a cheese ball container and while I'm not great at crafting I'm so gonna try making that vase with the 2 colors. And you look beautiful as always. TFS
I’m using those felt furniture pads inside my door jambs when I run the air conditioner because the rattling of the door keeps me awake at night! I also put them on the backs of my wooden wall art that I hang outside to keep the wind from scraping the paint on my house.
If you have a toddler who loves to throw toys, you can make “blocks” out of pool noodles that aren’t as dangerous if thrown or stepped on. They make great pool/bath tub toys too. I spent less than $5 on some for my nephew and they have lasted over 3yrs and he still loves them.
It always brightens my day to see your smiling face in my feed! More great tips. I just threw away a cheese ball container! Oh well. I'm on a diet now so I won't be buying another. Lol
I use the empty ones for holding my trash bags in my craft room. And, also to hold my yarn while I am crocheting so it won't un roll all over the floor! It also keeps it from getting tangled as badly! 😊
Omg thank you for the awesome much needed pool noodle soil substitute!! Running low on soil so I'm off to my store tomorrow. Omg thank you. And the caulk sand pot! Where have you been all my creating years (66)? You are the best out there because you are succinct. No wasted yak time. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
TYFS - I’m loving all of these ideas! 👍🏻👍🏻 LOL 😂 my husband is exactly the same! I have been forbidden to hang ANYTHING on our walls 🤦🏻♀️. I really loved how your planter turned out & I’m looking forward to giving it a try 🤓😊. I also appreciate that you didn’t re-use the same old ideas that everyone & their brother has used! 🙌🏻 Please stay safe 😷🥰
Megan, you already know we will gladly take any and all ideas you want to throw at us. You are FREAKIN AMAZING!!!! I still wish we lived closer because you would be my new BFF. 😊😊😊😊
I really enjoyed your video, and I like the plant hangers. I bought 3 of them, and worked them together by linking the top to the bottom of the 2nd, and then did the same thing with the last one, I then used 3 small bowls to make a vegetable holder in my small kitchen. It hangs from the top of my baker's rack.
As a cat owner, you just saved my life with the felt pads. They LOVE to pull the cabinet doors open about an inch and then let them fall closed again. I have NO IDEA why but after about 30 minutes of “phwoop…pah pah…phwoop…pah pah…” of the door hitting the frame and bouncing a couple of times, I am always ready to scream! (And I’ve tried child locks-either they’re easy enough for them to figure out [the hook ones] or difficult enough that I get pissed and just remove them [the magnet ones]. 😂)
I have been using the card holder for my phone since they started carrying them. They are also good to display frames and art on ❤️ these videos. Your planter turned out beautifully!
I loved this ❤! So many awesome hacks. Definitely the planters. Just beautiful with the ropes, hulahoops for wreaths, the caulk & sand, over the door hooks on the fence, pool noodles in the planter bottoms YES yes yes!!! LOL 😆 🤣 TYFS!!

We have missed you! Would love to see more of your dollar tree home decor! 💝
I agree we have missed you and love your home decor also looking forward to the pantry makeover too.
Any video you make we're gonna watch it! Yours is one channel I always look for. Keep 'em comin.
Thx for sharing 💥
So thrilled! Missed seeing your videos! Loved these ideas!
Yay! So happy to see you! I would love to see some outdoor/patio hacks or decor on a budget, cause I’m definitely on a budget but anything on like curb appeal(on a budget) would be cool. If there is such a thing 😉
The flower pot covered in caulk and sand turned out amazing.....? It turned out so very high end looking. Happy Spring.
That is my favorite 🤗
Hello how are you doing Tammy?
This was probably one of the better DIY from Dollar Tree items I've seen in a while....
I never even bother with anyone else's. I don't need more cheesy looking crap...lol. These a re HITS!
I LOVE the noodle idea for planter filling!!!!!
Love that planter that you covered with the caulk and painted. FYI if you need holes for ANY plastic planter, use your hand held soldering iron. I have found this to be better than drilling. Plastic planters have become so cheap and brittle that I was having a problem with breakage. By the way Love your channel !!!
Double curtain rod????? BE STILL MY HEART!!!!!! Always more of these, PLEASE! Love your ideas and YOUR VOICE!!!!!!
Me too!!! Megan is the bomb!
Agree, genius level share on that tip and the others. Made me realize i am only a amateur Dollar Tree hacker.
Hello Kelli, how are you doing?
I must admit I first subscribed just to hear her laugh. I stay because of her creativity lol.
Also, if you have anymore outdoor DIYS,would love to see them! You have great style!
Anyone else get excited when Meagan uploads a new video? Love your channel
Upcycling the cheese ball containers is a brilliant idea!!
And they’re just gorgeous! Love the black and natural combo!
Yes I completely agree!!
They look great I've always saved them for storage. I love the 2 ropes idea 😲
I loved this idea for hiding extra toilet paper! I’m going to do this
Don’t know what I love most.... your diys or just listening/watching your video. Your videos are absolutely a “treat” !!!
I love the plant holders rods for curtains and sheers.
I find that people's dollar tree hacks are either hit or miss, and these are a HIT.
Everyone else’s “hacks” are almost always hideous and tacky.... but I have noticed that hers are almost always ACTUALLY good!! She has good taste!!
Agreed!
I very much appreciate your DYIs. Very down to earth!
You have no idea how much I just love you.... You solved a problem that I've been having for years..... I'm just so happy I could cry!!!!
I like the wreath idea! I could see making those to match the season or holidays even. Just grab a few of the hula hoops and keep them to make a wreath for spring, Easter, Valentine's day, etc.
I just bought 5. 😆
Flip those brackets upside down, and you've got a much cheaper alternative to the shelf brackets sold by the hardware stores (and you can still hang a dowel!)
Or a plant shelf with built in plant hangers 😏
Yesss! Awesome idea!
You are so clever great idea!! I think I will make a shelf to put spices on and hang my kitchen towels on it with a rod
So smart!
I bet you could also put a smaller piece of shelving on top with the rod down below.
It would be cute in an entryway.
Thank you for being hilarious! 😂😂I get such a kick out of watching you. I also like the DIY's😄💁
She is genuine. She radiates it. The other girls seems fake to me..meagan is real!
Mind blown - I never ever thought of spreading hot glue out. You have the best content and personality. Feel like we're friends 😊
Hello Michelle, how are you doing?
I have sure missed you Meghan! As always loved your DIY ideas.
"I can make more! " you go gurl....make some more! Thank you.
Okay, so I'll pick your brain any day for DT hacks, where do you come up with all these ideas?😂 I think they're great! That flower pot is gorgeous!
My simpleton response, generated from like minded thinking, is that if you set a simple budget of dollars and commit to buying that many dollars of dollar tree items per some arbitrary time frame, say a month, you'll eventually find yourself swamped with ways to make use of what you find there. Oh yeah, and your tips are great too...😆
Never thought to cover the cheese balls containers with rope. LOVE IT!!
Great idea. My husband buys those cheese balls. We have never come up with any ideas to do with the container. I am glad I found your video:)
The cheese ball containers with the combination of black and brown cording looks INCREDIBLE! Very high end! Love them. Tfs... Happy Easter to all!

Much love to you girlfriend 😘
Exceptional hacks! The "stone" planter from the cheese all container, the double curtain rod, and the hula hoop wreath were amazing.

I really enjoyed watching your video it's not corny like a lot of the other people You're directing to the point Love it Thank you!
I know this comment has nothing to do DT, but this is my FAVORITE shade of red on you! It matches your skin tone perfectly! 💖

I just love your hacks! By the way, I would not have used a level either 😄
The solar light on the broom handle, the over the door rack (outside on the fence!), and the recycled cheese ball container are my favorites! I also love the felt pads. I use them everywhere! Great video! I love your sense of humor! You always make me smile ☺️
The “urine stain” yellow tye dye lmao 😂
She’s not wrong, though! 🤣

I always feel like I'm having a conversation with a friend when I watch your videos. I love your easy, laid back hacks. Thank you !
Hello how are you doing?
I'm so stoked... I have a cheese ball container and while I'm not great at crafting I'm so gonna try making that vase with the 2 colors. And you look beautiful as always. TFS
The solar yard light is awesome! That will help me walk my dog at night!
I’m using those felt furniture pads inside my door jambs when I run the air conditioner because the rattling of the door keeps me awake at night! I also put them on the backs of my wooden wall art that I hang outside to keep the wind from scraping the paint on my house.
Wonderful ideas
Megan: Thank you for the "double curtain rod" idea! Wow!!!
Megan yes please more of these. Loved all but the pot took the cake for me. Looking so old fantastic. Thank you.
The cheese ball containers turned out so pretty!
That caulk/sand idea is GENIUS. Unbelievable!!!
Never thought of using a hula hoop for making a reef, how clever. I want to try it for a Spring/Summer reef!
If you have a toddler who loves to throw toys, you can make “blocks” out of pool noodles that aren’t as dangerous if thrown or stepped on. They make great pool/bath tub toys too. I spent less than $5 on some for my nephew and they have lasted over 3yrs and he still loves them.
great ideas!.. AND- if you flip the hooks up side down, they can be a shelf holder for your laundry room. Close the ends tight to hold the rod
I love when you do these videos and that textured pot for outside looked awesome!!!
Please stay safe 😷🥰
You are so funny lol...I need to save some money girl!!! God Bless and stay safe. Now I got to check out your video lol
Absolutely love the finished cheese ball containers. WoW!
I made the 2 rope baskets from cheese balls and pretzels. Love it
I have been using the card holder for my phone since they started carrying them.
The caulk and sand encrusted planter is crazy amazing.
