I do not understand why Command is not sponsoring you yet.😳 In your videos, you have shared countless great, creative ideas for using these hooks year-round.👍
For the hack of hanging the pictures, I use the velcro ones, which makes it easy to change anything out whenever you want, either within the frame, or to change out a different picture/frame. And for the kid art clothes pins, you can let your little one paint or decorate the clothespins. There are some really cute crafts out there to transform a clothes pin to a little dragon with some paint and felt, stuff like that. Thanks so much for all of your awesome tips. 😊
I’ve struggled for years to keep things from accumulating on my bed. I have leukemia so I spend a lot of time in my bedroom and I can’t seem to stop myself from letting things pile up on my bed. 😫 One of your other videos where you used command hooks to organize things encouraged me to try to find ways to solve my problem and I did!! I put command hooks on the back of my headboard (upside down like your wreaths) and I put a small garbage bin with a strap (made to hang on things in vehicles) on that hook so it hangs down on the front of the headboard so I can reach it but high enough not to get in the way of the pillows. I also put two more hooks on the back of the headboard and made some straps to hold a small basket to put mail, pens, and other random things that would otherwise accumulate on the bed, in so it keeps them off of the bed and makes it very easy to unhook the basket and put everything away whenever I feel well enough to do it. I’m so happy with my new system and love your videos that gave me the idea! 😁 Thank you!!!
Wow, every hack in here useful - every single one! That’s not always the case with some RUclipsr videos. The calm and focused way you present your ideas is the best. I’ll be back for more. Thank you!
Thank you for these. As a lifelong renter, I can't make anything too permanent. My 2 favorites are the bathroom "good when wet" soap holder (been up for MONTHS), and their "metallic" hand towel bar because my bathroom had no place to hang a hand towel next to the sink. Plus, it's cheap enough to leave behind for the next tenant because it looks so nice.
I LOVE you're idea about taking the little shelf while you're traveling to have a place for your baby monitor. Another use for that little shelf, would be to have a place to put your cell phone while your charging it. I have found that in a lot of hotels or motels, the extra outlet to charge your cell is at the bottom of the wall so you have to put your cell on the floor. By using the little shelf you can place it higher on the wall, as long as the distance isn't longer than the charging cord. You've got some great ideas & made me think of my dad who passed away 15 years ago, when you talked about clothes pins. He used them for everything. One of the ways he did, was eating out in a restaurant. He always carried one in his pocket & would clip his napkin on his collar, so he wouldn't get food on his shirt. My sister's & I were always mortified when he did this. But when he passed away, my youngest sister found some mini ones so we all wore them like a lapel pin during the funeral services. It made us all smile.
WHAT?!?! How did I not know about the cord holders for appliances? Those look amazing! Also love the wreath hanging idea as well as the small shelf for the baby monitor!
Love this video. It gave me some extra ideas. Another spot where I use the small clear backed metal command hook is in my vehicle on my dash to hang my mask. That way it’s not hanging from the mirror, or sitting on a seat. I also use the Velcro command strips in my travel trailer to hang art work, etc. They have yet to fall despite going across country numerous times.
I use the velcro strips to stick my security gate buzzer in the car and to the wall in the house. I always know where it is, yet I can pop it off in an instant.
I was so excited to see that because I am getting rid of a bronze shower curtain rod and s-shaped attachments and thought - great way to hang shoulder bags. Then I remembered I have no wall or closet space to hang it
Whenever I walk by the Command Strip displays, I try to think of reasons to buy some. Now I don't feel so crazy. Lol I have a little tip for the clothespins you use. A super quick way to make them decorative, is to add washi tape on the top part.
Love the one about the baby monitor. I watch my granddaughter and I have been trying to move camera because I have had to move her crib because she tries to see what she can reach and pull into crib before she goes to sleep. I am ordering a shelf right now. Thanks for sharing all these hacks!
Fantastic video in every way! I store my broom in the small space created by the refrigerator but it would always fall all the way back to the wall that goes behind the fridge. I have "t-rex arms" as my kids say so this is a problem. After 20 yrs i finally have a solution! I have used a command hook as a stop for my broom. I actually put the hook sideways with the scoop of the hook facing the storage opening. Now I set my broom in there and the handle slides and rests against the hook. Ready and waiting for the next time I need it!
You can also look for brooms that have a round plastic " loop"/ ring ( whatever it's called lol) at the end of the handle that are made to be.....hang yay! So you can hang it.😁
Love, love ,love your humor and your command strip genius hacks. The cord bundler, the tech wire corralling thingy's, and the over the door wreath hanging idea. Now I have a way to hang my pretty Christmas wreath without nails!!!! Thank you, Kalli.
My friend had this aggravating issue. I took her empty paper towel tube and placed it in the back (behind) the utensil caddy. No more sliding and it was free!
This is definitely going in my “Top 5 most useful RUclips videos!” I have seen most of your videos and you never disappoint. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us! I love your PRACTICAL CREATIVITY!!!!!! You are awesome! 🥰
My favorite of your ideas was the straps to secure appliance cords. GENIUS. Thanks. I have every appliance there is, use them ALL the time, and am tired of endless dangling cords. 👍🏻
I take command hooks on vacation with us. It gives me a place to hang my robe, hang towels to dry & even in the shower to hang wet swimsuits. Thanks for the great ideas! 🇺🇸❤️🌵
I've found I always end up with more strips than I need;couple extra in every pack. You can also get a pack of JUST the strips & size them as needed.I store them and use them with cheaper large hooks from Dollar Tree, Dollar General etc.The hold is stronger and as a renter sometimes off brand adhesives pull some of the wall with them. Command strips have always come off easily with no extra plaster or paint!
This is the first video I have watched dealing with command hooks etc. I am older and have only used nails(old fashioned)but you make it sound so everyday and I love that. We are renting a beautiful home and we have been told by landlord ‘NO NAILS’! I’m a little nervous just starting out.
I've used a bunch of the mini shelves to display misc things in my small Lego room that I can't put anywhere else. They're great. Each box contains 2 shelves, and you can place them next to each other to create a wider shelf.
I totally agree with your statement that the more you use Command Hooks, the more uses you dream up for them. I have just about anything on my walls using Command Hooks in one way or another. I discovered those when my daughter went to college, and thought they were the most amazing invention ever. I hope whoever invented them got a really hefty raise! Ever since, they find their way on my walls in so many ways. From hanging pictures to hanging curtains with no holes left in walls. Thank you for bringing these to the public's attention big time. 😁
I have two sets of measuring spoons hanging side by side in one upper cabinet (one Revere Ware and one spice jar type hung with the wire type. I wrote on each one which size goes on it so that other people will put them back where they belong. Also hung SS measuring cups in opposite cabinet, labeled. Have two other styles measuring cups in adjacent lower cabinet. My cabinets are expensive Midcontinent, so I only attach Command hooks to inside, never outside.
My daughter used command strips to hang foam core inside the cabinets doors, then added hooks for measuring utensils. I’ve followed her example, as did my mother. I have two sets of measuring cups, a set of spoons and a set of spice measuring spoons.
Wow! I didn’t even think about using the command strip to hang pictures…it takes me a good deal of time drawing out, measuring writing it down and hanging photos…this is so much easier to do. LOL! 😆 thanks!
I so wish I were to this point. First, I'm still just trying to put away the crackers from last night's chili and clear off the kitchen table hopefully before bed. But also, I just seem to never have the money in my budget for these kind of things. I love every single idea here. All of them. Just wonderful.
I love Command strips! I use them for so many things. I have been stuffing the extra plastic bags from the grocery store underneath my sink cabinet so I’m going to space 2 strips to hold one bag and then put the extras in that bag! Oh I’m really old😂😂👍❤️great video!
Just wanted to suggest an ideea: if you good with needle or sewing. Cut a long sleeve from a shirt you don't use anymore, saw an elastic band around both ends top and bottom, leaving an opening. Then a little loop at one end. Use the loop to hang it on the command hook and stuff your plastic bags in there. Then pull one as need it on the bottom end 😊👍
I've been using medium command hooks for my husband's hat collection. He kept stacking them up on our entry way bar, but now they hang on the wall instead. Works great!
Okay, I have some Command hooks and I have pot holders sitting on the counter - not any more. Also, liked the cord holders for small appliances - but gotta go buy those - putting on my list.
I have use to hooks upside down over the door jamb inside my closet to hand a rectangular light that uses a remote to turn on. The extra light is great. I have also used them to hang a picture collage frame that has a wire on the back. Love seeing the uses that others have posted. Love the appliance cord.
I am also obsessed with Command Hooks and strips. I loved this video because of some great ideas I haven't seen before and also knowing I'm not the only one obsessed with them! 😂💖💖💖
Omg the cutlery organizer drives me bonkers each day I have to pull it back. Thank you so much for that idea, will definitely be doing that in the morning!
👍👍👍👍👍 I have never seen or even heard of the Command Hooks’ mini shelves. I love watching your videos almost everyday. Some days I binge watch old ones and you never cease to amaze me . Keep making these Command Hooks videos. I live in a tiny apartment and I have too much stuff . I am desperately trying to get rid of or find a place for my “stuff”.❤️
I use the command strips to bunch remotes together.... somehow when two remotes are , as one large chunk, they are a little easier to manage to keep track of. Whether I put a ribbon handle which helps for I’d as well as grabbing, I can often Keep track without a ribbon leash handle Thanks for all the great ideas
I love command strips and hooks for the most part. Though they don't always work on certain surfaces and having them near an oven or stove can warp them or the glue dries up. I've also noticed that the longer they are in use the harder it is to remove them. I've had many strips on the back of hooks just break off half way through taking them off. Anyway I love your videos and your hacks they are so helpful. I hope you are doing well and staying safe and I hope you have a wonderful week.
Girrrrrrl, you are so smart!! Thank you for sharing all of your tips. I have been using Command hooks for years!! Love the bundle ones and the wire holders, haven't seen those before. Also the charging station, love it!! Thanks again and your son is so cute. God bless you and your family. ❤️💯👍 Stay safe out there everyone. 😷😷😷
I too love command products...they are everywhere in my house...I haven’t seen the wall shelf...going to keep my eye open for those, they would be a great addition to a gallery wall 😊
Ty so much for these tips! Same as Becky (above comment) I’ve lived in my rental house for over 3 yrs& NEVER hung anything because landlord wouldn’t allow. Now I used your tips & I’ve already hung so many items (pics, wooden shelves, mirrors & I’m using ALL your tips for organizing!!!) I’m so grateful to your post!! I subscribed & followed on ig... hope to see more helpful tips u got ‼️😊
I also put several on the wall behind the door for my bracelets and necklaces .... Then on the back of the door ... I use larger hooks to hang boots and shoes .... I seriously love Command hooks .... !!!
Command hooks are great! Buttttt, on painted surfaces like walls or cabinets.....you gotta pull that strip nice and slowly..... otherwise it takes the paint right off.
@@DJoy222 yeah, sometimes it's better to just hammer a nail in the wall. I use something called monkey hooks. No hammer required. Command hooks work better on smooth pourus surfaces.
We found that if you slip a small knife blade or flathead screwdriver between the velcro strips, it will stay on the wall. And always wait that crucial hour before hanging the pics back up!
I've removed mine at a pretty good speed, but you gotta make sure that you're pulling it flat against the wall, and that you're holding onto the hook/velcro with your other hand so that it won't bang against your hand when it suddenly releases.
The bed storage is awesome! ALSO for those of you who need storage by your bed- which most of us do- There are storage liners that have pockets and go along the side of your bed for books, late night snacks etc
I have been using the hooks for my aluminum foil since seeing this video a few months ago. Game changer for real and I will never not use it. Thanks again for the ideas
How have I never seen those command shelves before???? I love using command strips/hooks for all of my holiday decor since it moves around a lot and I’ve never had any issues with them
I came across this video just before I was headed out to purchase some Command products for hacks. Talk about serendipity! Thank you- I got several different ideas from your video!
I absolutely love your videos like this. They are super helpful! I can't tell you how many of your little ideas I've used here at home to get my life more organized and I feel so much better this way. Command hooks are so useful I totally agree and I really want to try some of these hacks myself.
Great stuff! I found your channel a few days ago and loved the peg inside the cupboard door hack. I put command hooks on my shopping list. Now I have to watch this again with a notepad as so many other ones I want to do. Thanks x
I use the hooks on side of refrigerator to hold measuring cups & pot holders because it’s near our oven/stove! Also use them inside kitchen cabinet door for the spice packets/taco seasoning/etc!
Amazing ideas! Thank you SO much! You just solved about 5 problems I currently was trying to find solutions for! I didn’t even know about some of the products you use, like the shelves and the cord keepers, and you gave me some great new ideas as well.
We are getting ready to take off in our very small travel trailer for 6-7 months, so trying to organize all of our belongings. We have several Command hooks up already, but this gives us even more ideas! Thank you.
I just ordered some refill strips for some Command Hooks that I'm moving around in my kitchen. I use them everywhere. I use the clothespin hack inside the cupboard doors under my bathroom and kitchen sinks to hang up my reusable cleaning gloves. They are always out of sight, but right where I need them. We also put Command Hooks on the inside of our entry door to provide a place to hang up our facemasks. Ditto inside our car. A small hook on the dashboard holds our keyless remote and one on each car door provides a place to hang up our facemasks.
I’ve not seen the little shelves before and now I’m in love! I live in WV so a really common (and sweet) gift is carved coal? A lot of local artists carve animals and things or we have tons of glass blowers here (don’t know why? Maybe also a result of coal?) but I finally got a big office at work and was trying to figure out how to display the little art pieces I’ve collected over the years 💛
I use a command hook in a high awkward spot near where iron to hang a suit/outfit for the next day. I also use a few of the small ones to hang damp shirts before I iron them. Damp shirts (with spray bottle) makes them MUCH easier to iron.
I used the picture hanging hooks. They stayed on my walls for like 3 months then started falling off. I assumed it was because it’s so humid where I am. But I do love these things. Thank you for some new ideas
@@jddr555 I have used a strong sewing needle to hang a picture in the wall . Hammer it in at a 45 degree angle; this has worked for years on several pictures. If you remove the needle, the small hole is barely detectable and can be filled with, believe it or not, toothpaste. Always be aware of picture weight and if someone would be sitting or sleeping under the picture. Screws may be your safest option for hanging in that scenario. I also love using Command Strips. In my RV, I have used the hooks to hold my husband’s hats, the dog’s leash, small photos, towels, the list is endless.
Mine lasted about a year, but with opposite weather. I live in the Mojave Desert, so figured that’s why. I love them, and only wish they held pictures until I was done with that placement/ready to switch it up.
I almost fell off my chair at the Windex comment and clip....LMAO Great tips! We downsized to a very small house, and until we went to set it up we didn't really realize how little storage we had. Command products have saved my sanity many times, and I will definitely incorporate some of these new hacks. TYFS!
Incredible ideas here that I haven't thought of. I attached a small Command Strip shelf to the back of my nightstand for my cellphone. One less thing on the nightstand. But, I'm inspired by this video to rig up some Command Strip hangers for my CPAP hose. I've been trying to make the CPAP machines (both my husband and I have one) less noticeable. Hanging them behind the nightstands or headboard should work. Thanks for the tips.
Ahh. The trash bag issue. It's like the Bermuda Triangle of "Not My Job." That, and It's full, and the other 3 people (all giant, tall, intelligent dudes) will stack boxes, cans, etc up to the sky rather than pull the bag. And I leave extra bags there 99% of the time, so it's fairly simple. I have to ask to have someone pull it and run it out, under the negotiation of me putting the new bag, while I'm baking or cooking and need somewhere to put the trash/stuff I'm needing to toss. **sigh** I couldn't love these folks more but dang it. The trash bag struggle is real. :) And a side comment: The cord bundler clip thing - that's genius. This is my first time seeing that and I have semi-permanent "WOW" face. Neat!
We don't use the ones with the drawstring, so I put a rubber band around ours to keep the bag in place. Dh is the trash guy, so he takes ours to the dump.
@@cassiafaehayden3683 Most trash bins have a cut out in the back where you stuff the excess bag into so it's secure. The kitchen tall bags are usually slightly wider than the can so you just scoop up that extra material and stuff it in the hole (which has a tab on it to keep it from falling out). I've never had it fail to keep the bag from falling back in.
@@NYCisland ive never seen or heard of a trash can like that. Where do u buy ur trash cans? I buy mine from walmart n meijer. N ive never seen or even heard of trash cans w a part on it that holds ur trash bag in place. All 3 of the trash cans in my house(trash, bottles, & recycling) as well as the way over priced ones on a lazy susan my parents have r not as u describe
SO many great ideas here! I'm going to look for the little shelves, as well as the cord clips and bundlers. I thought Command Strips only hung pictures!
This was an excellent video! I am going to buy some of those 3M command strips, hooks, and wall shelves today! I live in an apartment, so it is important to not put a lot of nail holes in the walls. You had me when you said, you don't have to be "committed". Love that. I hope the 3M company sponsors your videos! Thanks for the inspiration!

I am going to do this, I have the same problem in my house, thanks for the tip!
I used the velcro strip to attach my doors to the doorstops so the doors won't drft close as the house settles. Love them !
Whether I put a ribbon handle which helps for I’d as well as grabbing, I can often Keep track without a ribbon leash handle
Thanks for all the great ideas
Oh my god! THANK YOU!!! Tf you have just simplified my life this is one of the best videos I’ve ever! I’m sending this to my mom
Does it destroy the wall when you remove them? Does the paint come off?
@@Tenjiku9 3M Command strips do not. The cheaper ones from the dollar stores do.
Not gonna lie, some of this was borderline life changing hahah ty
I initially thought your "hacks" would be useless and I'd be rolling my eyes but these are some pretty great ideas! Thanks for this
Oh my goodness you just gave life. Lol I had no idea that command had shelves. I'm going out right now to find me some. Thanks you
Yep, they've been around for a couple/few years now. They look nice on the wall.
"In which case, good for you"
😏😏😏🤣🤣🤣
I love your humor Kallie
Also will now think of you every time I see a Command Hook😍💛
Right off the bat!!! First hack changed my life.
OMG! Fantastic uses for Command products. Those little shelves are awesome!
I too love command products...they are everywhere in my house...I haven’t seen the wall shelf...going to keep my eye open for those, they would be a great addition to a gallery wall 😊
Target sometimes has the shelves
This is the best “life hack” video I’ve ever seen!! SO many useful ideas I’d never considered. BYE! I gotta get to work!!
I use the small command type hooks from dollar tree on the inside of my closet door to hang all my long necklaces.
I also put several on the wall behind the door for my bracelets and necklaces .... Then on the back of the door ... I use larger hooks to hang boots and shoes .... I seriously love Command hooks .... !!!
ha, I tried this but they all fell off. the cheap ones aren't always that good, like cheap post-it notes which are just terrible.
For the utensil divider, you can also use Museum Gel. It's clear and I've had mine stuck for a few months and it's amazing
Command hooks are great! Buttttt, on painted surfaces like walls or cabinets.....you gotta pull that strip nice and slowly..... otherwise it takes the paint right off.
That's good to know! Because we just moved into our new home and had it painted- and I'd die if the paint got ripped off the wall!
Yes I ruined a newly painted wall.
I've removed mine at a pretty good speed, but you gotta make sure that you're pulling it flat against the wall, and that you're holding onto the hook/velcro with your other hand so that it won't bang against your hand when it suddenly releases.
Definitely the BEST Command Hook video on You Tube. Thanks.
Great tips, Kallie! I especially liked the tips about the foil and plastic wraps and the shower rod an S hooks.
Awesome baby monitor hack for when the grands come to visit! Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Thanks x
Need an update. Hope this worked for you.😊
I absolutely love these ideas! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
I just wish they weren't so darn expensive!
Dollar tree has them and they’re only 1.25 which beats all other stores prices 😁
@@tlchp1987 Right! 🙌
Dollar Tree sells multiple sizes n weights as well!🤗
Two words, DOLLAR TREE!
Chronic… go to the dollar stores. Even Amazon sells them for a low price
Wow! I am so enlightened! THANK YOU SO MUCH.🤩🤩🤩 I’m have so many things I can now think of that I’m going to do. 👏👏👏👏👏
I love each and EVERYONE of these command hacks. Come on command....Sponsor her so she can bring us more.
The garbage bin hack, cutlery organizer , and the phone caddy were my favorite 🤯
I use the hooks on side of refrigerator to hold measuring cups & pot holders because it’s near our oven/stove! Also use them inside kitchen cabinet door for the spice packets/taco seasoning/etc!
One of my favorite movies.!! Watch a couple times a year
Lots of great ideas! I'm definitely using the Command Hook Bundlers on my appliances. Cords drive me crazy!! XO❤
Amazing ideas! Thank you SO much! You just solved about 5 problems I currently was trying to find solutions for! I didn’t even know about some of the products you use, like the shelves and the cord keepers, and you gave me some great new ideas as well.
Great ideas can’t wait to get my ugly black wires hidden securely behind the furniture! Plz keep your ideas coming girlie...❤️💯
We are getting ready to take off in our very small travel trailer for 6-7 months, so trying to organize all of our belongings. We have several Command hooks up already, but this gives us even more ideas! Thank you.
You should use affiliate links! I would totally buy these items from Amazon through your link to help support the channel!
Love your videos 💙
I just ordered some refill strips for some Command Hooks that I'm moving around in my kitchen. I use them everywhere. I use the clothespin hack inside the cupboard doors under my bathroom and kitchen sinks to hang up my reusable cleaning gloves. They are always out of sight, but right where I need them. We also put Command Hooks on the inside of our entry door to provide a place to hang up our facemasks. Ditto inside our car. A small hook on the dashboard holds our keyless remote and one on each car door provides a place to hang up our facemasks.
I love command hooks too but you’ve even made me think of more uses!
I’ve not seen the little shelves before and now I’m in love! I live in WV so a really common (and sweet) gift is carved coal? A lot of local artists carve animals and things or we have tons of glass blowers here (don’t know why? Maybe also a result of coal?) but I finally got a big office at work and was trying to figure out how to display the little art pieces I’ve collected over the years 💛
Mind blown for the baby monitor shelf.
Definitely the humidity. Had it happen in my house as well. Also a friend's house they all fell down on the outerwalls because it wasn't insulated.
Yep! I lived in GA and now FL and can’t get them to stick to ANYTHING!! I’d love to use them but they just don’t work for me, so nails it is!
Ugh! Thx for the heads up
@@jddr555 I have used a strong sewing needle to hang a picture in the wall .
MINDBLOWN!!! So simple life hacks!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I almost fell off my chair at the Windex comment and clip....LMAO
Great tips!
Thank you so much for this. Please do more whenever you can.
Neat!
Lol. Ikr. That's y I like living alone. It's all my job. But at least when I do it I know it got done. Lol
We don't use the ones with the drawstring, so I put a rubber band around ours to keep the bag in place. Dh is the trash guy, so he takes ours to the dump.
I know they actually make bands for that. Idk where to get them. But I've heard of them
@@cassiafaehayden3683 Most trash bins have a cut out in the back where you stuff the excess bag into so it's secure.
Wow ... I love Command strips but had not thought of all these uses for them!
I have never seen Command shelves before this video, but you’d better believe I am going to pick some up now!☺️
She's sticking them on everything in the house! I think the name "Command" also adds to the appeal.
Yes command central.😂😂😊
I had no idea they had little shelves and metal hooks! What an eye opener! Thanks!
