Glad to see you enjoyed keropok, fish crackers. You can buy raw keropok and fry it at home. Keropok ikan (fish crackers) comes from keropok leko (fish sausage), it's thinly sliced and sun dried to become raw keropok. Keropok leko is a very famous snack in the east coast of peninsular Malaysia but nowadays you can get it at almost any pasar malam, night markets around Malaysia. Good to see you back in KL, you look fresh coming back from Sydney.

Speaking as someone who also lives here albeit not at long as you I have a slightly different perspective as I work in Retail not Corporate. For me Malaysia certainly go all out on decorations for Christmas, they really are amazing but it sucks the country never closes, and Christmas Day for Malaysians is let’s all go to the mall which is basically what they do every day so it’s not significant in that respect. Even the opening hours remain the same at 10-10 (TRX).
I did my best to stick to my own way of celebrating which was a Roast dinner I made at my apartment and a real Christmas Tree which was pretty easy to find. Although next year I might follow your lead and eat out.
Thanks for shaming me to go gym more often with your pool video 💪🏻

We have a Christmas procession every year in Sarawak, the only state in Malaysia where it is allowed. It is banned in West Malaysia. Recently, a state-of-the-art Gothic church was opened in Kuching, again making Sarawak the only state in Malaysia permitted to build new non-Islamic religious buildings. Nowadays, any new religious settings in West Malaysia are only allowed in shop lots.
