I am comparing what I personally buy based on what I personally earn and choose to do - which would be a good guide for other people in a similar situation to me (typically foreigners to Malaysia who would like to visit, work, or retire here). I am not recommending anything, but rather stating my personal experience and data, which is simply a fact. You can convert or make comparisons based on your personal circumstances, or make your own video sharing your experience.

Hey, I recommend watching the full video where I break it down with context. Yes, you can live comfortably for much less but I don't think it's a shit ton when you understand why I moved. The same lifstyle would cost triple in Aus or another similar western country, so it's a great deal.

Hey Tyler, yes ther are many. I have a hiking video edited, I'll try to post it soon. Malaysia is full of nature and great hiking spots. Check out KLCC park and KL Forest Eco Park for tourist examples within the city centre. Many waterfalls and beautiful nature just a short drive away too.

Hey there, it's a good question and I do my best to answer but it depends on your situation and where you're from. I'd consider the digital nomad visa, MM2H if you can afford it, or tourist visas if you're willing to move around throughout the year.
