Deer Meat, Pork Belly, Chicken (Thigh/Drumstick) Rendang. Where is the Big Red Onion Slices cooked together with the sambal. ????? No need to put coconut oil into the rice. Normal use, palm oil will do. Sambal from bottle, add some cooking oil & stir-fried on the pan with little water, add onion slices (cook soft). Also can add meat into the sambal while cooking. We don't normally cut bird eye chilli just like that on the rice (too spicy, even commoners in Malaysia can't tolerate).

nasi lemak is not nasi lemak if the rice is not cooked in coconut milk.there is no coconut milk in your rice so it does not taste like nasi lemak.nasi lemak must have coconut milk in it.that is what gives it the special taste.

There is a pretty good and inexpensive Malaysian restaurant in Chinatown in Sydney, called Malay Malay Haymarket. It's on Ultimo Road.

Most things are ok in there but the rice needs to be cooked in coconut milk and you cant use brined anchovies its supposed to be dried anchovies fried.

Coconut Rice Nasi Lemak should cook with( Santan) coconut milk.Boil with Pandan leave, Serai ( Lemongrass) Ginger together a pinch of salt n sugar.

Actually if you are thrifty on decent living and food actually it caa be as low as RM1,500 which is about US400 a month.

in malaysia the reason for the best healtcare is 24 hours services if you go to the government as malaysia u pay rm 1.00 only 24 hours emergency and the best is u dont have too come next day just settle in one day..
