Very well said, truer words were never spoken than common knowledge doesn't apply to watches. My philosophy is I just enjoy my watches and I try to make sense out of more important things in life (though what's more important than having some stuff in this life that you just plain enjoy - I get more joy out of my watches than I could ever explain rationally but I figure that's OK!).

In reality their is no common sense in even owning a watch when our phones have time and time is everywhere even our cars. But we still love them!!
U just motivated me to do the same... I'm always at work, my automatics in the box gshock on the wrist... that's changing today man life's short
