HOT damn... (as opposed to a COLD one!) Another FABULOUS watch story!!
I had the 'ONE' watch when I was a young man - LOVED that watch. Now, however, well... YOU know...

Your story got me thinking about a coworker I have who only wears the same cheapest Casio digital watch (don’t remember the model) watch everyday. I give him crap for it all the time but he always says “well hey it does the job” and sometimes I wish I could be like that

No way, I’m already in the deep end man and I don’t think there’s hope of ever getting out. Such is life.

In my younger years, I was always only a three watch guy. It was casual for daily wear, digital for sports and a dress watch. Those watches felt more special to me as opposed to now when I have so many more. That said, I only own entry level watches.

The more we have, the less time we can wear them!!
I guess it's the irony of having so many timepieces, and less time to wear them!

I went from wearing one Citizen Ecodrive diver for 11 years as an only watch to a watch collector. My battery was going out in the Citizen and I started looking for an extra watch to wear while it was getting fixed and turned into a watch collector. I now have an Omega Seamaster 300m, Tudor Black Bay blue bezel 41 diver and a green Oris Aquis 43mm diver. I started wearing diver watches years ago because I drove a concrete mixer at the time and wanted a rubber watchband.

That's a great collection!! I know in that job you need a diver. Washing the shoots ant back of the truck after each pour will definitely get your arms wet.

Amazing video. I know so many of those people. I friend of mine is into fossil and G shock watches and he is in his 50's crazy. He didn't understand about automatic movements or higher horology. At that age I don't try to school people.

Lots of G-Shock collectors out there. Their metal G-Shock's are pretty amazing. Also Fossil does offer a few automatics, I think even with Swiss movement, but they can only be bought from their website.
