@MANHUNT YT actually, I just corrected it - it’s 30W for literally 3 devices, iPad Pro 2020, iPad Pro 2021 and iPad Air 2020; the fast charger for all the other phones are 12W - apple are a joke

A few years ago I took a chance and brought the Xiaomi Redmi Pro - I did some research but otherwise had never heard of Xiaomi. I was really impressed, lovely screen, responsive phone,decent Android overlay, fingerprint scanner, everything pretty good. So I'm not at all surprised to see Xiaomi are now challenging Samsung, good luck to them.

@@PinotNoir_ Xiaomi stock camera is pretty decent at least on my Mi 10 Pro. Gcam nets better results in photo but the video for some reason is super compressed and looks kind of crappy, so usually I will just use stock camera since shutter speed is much faster and video is far better

I'm glad, they actually changed the fact, that you can only get 15 seconds of video with the Secondary display, now you get no more limited time and also you can shoot more than 15 sec by using the secondary display which is quite impressive.

I actually love how companies are competing We as customers , we are the ones who enjoys this competition They challenge to provide new technology at high pace , that makes it kinda impossible to get a bad deal nowadays 2 years ago high refresh rate screens were first brought to the market , now it's a priority even midrange phones have it It's cool 😌😌😌
Sometimes it's good, sometimes it isn't. It depends on *how* they're competing. Here, they're competing to make the best product, which is good for ordinary people. In places like Epic Games vs Steam, Epic games is competing to be required, not better. Which is bad for consumers.
Competition is good only if it helps each other excel. Chinese companies like Xiaomi just steal and copy other's technology and pose it as their own. And assholes like the guy in video shamelessly promote these thieving companies. And Chinese smartphone companies can never take over the world like this guy says because of the patent issues. Like I said, they steal other companies' technology and therefore cannot sell it outside of China where their communist government protection doesn't reach.

@@oz9478 The S21 Ultra is the better phone though. It has DeX and S Pen support and usable 100× zoom making it a productivity machine so I think that he was alittle dishonest
@@venator7889 yeah, you're right, I realized about that after finishing the video, I wrote a comment about that other point of view I had, and the fact that the cheers so much Xiaomi's specs and features, but won't do the same for the galaxy Note, like there was nothing better that Samsung could offer. We can clearly see the camera quality on Xiaomi it's not better than the Samsung, at all. And it's light-years away on software development from bien as stable and reliable as a Samsung. However, in my opinion they both have a horrible, unprofessional, unattractive UI.. And just to conclude, if they based themselves on samsungs flagship and then just boosted up whatever specs it had, it means a few things to me Xiaomi es lacking some real invovation, (originality, and some implementation of it), and they though that to win the market they just had to do what the competition did but with esteroides.
@@oz9478 Yeah he also forgot to mention that the Mi 11 Ultra suffers from severe overheating issues, has 2.5 hours less battery life than the S21 Ultra, has difficult, buggy hard to use software and takes worse photos than even the base Galaxy S21
I would argue Sony has the best display spec for spec. True 4k OLED panel with a much higher ppi then apple or Samsung. Looks nicer too. I don't get this obsession with peak brightness. It's overrated. An LED TV gets brighter than an OLED, yet look at the picture quality. It's not even close
I bought into the Huawei p20 pro hype a few years ago and ended up being really disappointed with the camera. Learned a valuable lesson that the most important thing with phone cameras is software calibration not hardware specs. I'll stick with the Samsung for sure.
The truth is that Apple, Shaomi, Sony, they all use Samsung parts and Samsung screen. Whichever sells better than the other, Samsung makes profit at the end.

This is the first review I've seen on the Mi 11 Ultra, and while procrastinating for 3 years, now with the highly reduced price, I finally broke down and got one. It still holds its own overall with top phones in 2024.
I've also been considering it lately and just checked a review of it and it still holds up well and even beats the Samsung S24 ultra in some camera shots which is very impressive. Main reason for getting it is just for the back cameras cause i wanna use it for content creation purposes

Sometimes it's good, sometimes it isn't. It depends on *how* they're competing. Here, they're competing to make the best product, which is good for ordinary people. In places like Epic Games vs Steam, Epic games is competing to be required, not better. Which is bad for consumers.
Competition is good only if it helps each other excel. Chinese companies like Xiaomi just steal and copy other's technology and pose it as their own. And assholes like the guy in video shamelessly promote these thieving companies. And Chinese smartphone companies can never take over the world like this guy says because of the patent issues. Like I said, they steal other companies' technology and therefore cannot sell it outside of China where their communist government protection doesn't reach.

We can clearly see the camera quality on Xiaomi it's not better than the Samsung, at all. And it's light-years away on software development from bien as stable and reliable as a Samsung. However, in my opinion they both have a horrible, unprofessional, unattractive UI..

I would argue Sony has the best display spec for spec. True 4k OLED panel with a much higher ppi then apple or Samsung. Looks nicer too. I don't get this obsession with peak brightness. It's overrated. An LED TV gets brighter than an OLED, yet look at the picture quality. It's not even close

I bought into the Huawei p20 pro hype a few years ago and ended up being really disappointed with the camera. Learned a valuable lesson that the most important thing with phone cameras is software calibration not hardware specs. I'll stick with the Samsung for sure.

This is the first review I've seen on the Mi 11 Ultra, and while procrastinating for 3 years, now with the highly reduced price, I finally broke down and got one. It still holds its own overall with top phones in 2024.
I've also been considering it lately and just checked a review of it and it still holds up well and even beats the Samsung S24 ultra in some camera shots which is very impressive. Main reason for getting it is just for the back cameras cause i wanna use it for content creation purposes
