There actually IS such a thing as sex addiction. I personally know someone who has it. He was sexually abused repeatedly as a child and engaged in incestuous relationships (forced) w siblings from the time he was a very small child until past his adolescence. His therapist w knowledge of neurological issues, explained that this physically changed his brain, for life, and as a result he obsessively has the urge to find new partners, is attracted to children but doesn’t act on it, is never satisfied , never will be. It’s not something to joke about. It destroys people and relationships. Many folks with childhood trauma, spend their lives in various forms of addiction, mental health problems, ptsd, anxiety, ocd, etc etc
