I was just thinking how he's the funniest cat out there right now and was wondering why is he just recently blowing up. But honestly that's the comic game. Bill Burr was the same way.... Watched him for years then all of a sudden 'overnight' success! These comics have to put in the blood sweat and years, most of the time, before they blow. I'm happy it's his time now!!
He’s a funny guy and manages to be entertaining without being crude, vulgar or dirty.....that’s one of his biggest strengths whether he knows it or not. When a comedian respects his audience they respect him back.....it works that way.
Daniel Graham I’ve watched most of his videos and have never heard him swear, cuss or use any profanity on stage, but he can get edgy and be pretty blunt and critical in his observations about people.
17 years later... My husband STILL has the napkin I wrote my phone number on the night we met at a bar. Bret Michaels from Poison was playing that night, & we danced. Been together ever since!
You have the Me Too movement, the 3rd wave feminism, social media, and rude women with poor social skills to thank for that. A simple ask to dance in a club nowadays can end up in a mean rejection or a day in court with a false sexual assault accusation that can ruin a man's life beyond repair. The juice isn't worth the squeeze
@Sweet Bliss If I had a daughter, I would raise her in a way that given the moment, I’d trust her judgement, not other men’s. I would raise her to know it is a bad idea to get involved with a man who treats her poorly, regardless of his socioeconomic status or physical attractiveness. I would raise her to treat everybody with dignity, courtesy, and consideration. What’s trusting men got to do with anything I said anyway? If anything, today I wouldn’t trust any woman in a club or a bar. Trust is earned, and a sizable number of North American women have done everything in their power to make sure no one ever trusts them. From false allegations to manipulations, to cheating, to abuse of the system. And all that with blessings from the government and society. I understand there are low quality men out there, yet many women keep sexually rewarding bad behavior and mistreatment from such individuals. When was the last time you dated a modern American woman?
@Sweet Bliss Here you are the one complaining about men complaining about women “painting them badly.” What bubble do you live in? Men who see other men as a threat to their daughters are either insecure of their parenting skills (as they should be) or projecting their own untrustworthy selves onto other men. Today, the majority of young girls grow up without a father figure. They are raised by their single mothers, so in many cases they tend to imitate the behavior of their mother. Girls raised by single mothers are more likely to lead a promiscuous sex life. They are more likely to end up in abusive relationships. They are more likely to get into alcohol or drug addictions. They are more likely to treat good men poorly. They are more likely to end up in poverty. Funny how you get all defensive when someone asks for women accountability but are very quick to demand men’s accountability. We are in this together but you have to show some empathy to get some empathy back.
This is exactly how it was growing up in the 80's and 90's, lmao. So accurate. Now, it's online dating sites, no socializing or interaction at all😢 man they were the best years!!!!!!
JF R yes it is that way they could laugh at you guys all the way to the bank with something naturally we had ...therefore STILL STRIKING out...we were the dancers intentionally not dancing with you guys at the clubs so that you would come to the strip bar instead ha ha God those were good times :). 😉 wink🙈
I saw him live at Radio city a few years back. What amazed me was he was out there for an hour and a half and remembered all his material. I can’t remember why I went into the kitchen lol!!
Just saw him last night in St Augustine, Florida It was amazing!I guess I expected nothing less than exactly what I’ve seen in all the videos. He absolutely does not disappoint! Just do it lol cause I’m already wanting to plan seeing him again
Ah, yes....a trip down amnesia lane...house music, 90s breakdancing, the songs that were undanceable, it's all coming back. Your feet stuck to the floor by the bar, so classy.....good times!
I spent three years bouncing in the same club in North Jersey in the 80s. I remember you guys. It was like watching a national geographic special. "The female has rejected the males advances and the male pretends he doesn't even need a girl to dance. It's a sad and lonely story that's been told time and time again in the wilds of Perth Amboy.
Brings back memories of dancing at clubs. I remember the awkwardness of "watching each other move" and having the "stupid dance face" as Sebastian demonstrated. 😂😂
I am Mexican American and grew up in Los Angeles but I can totally relate to this . Our place was called the Quiet Cannon in Montebello California . Sebastian rocks man love his comedy . Greetings from Cali !
Living in Chicago from 94-06...this is spot on! No touch dancing, the occasion lean in chit chat and the "I can't dance to this." I miss Crowbar and Dome Room back in the day. Great Era in clubbin'!
I remember watching this special on Showtime years ago. It was one of the funniest, most relatable comedy specials I had ever seen, and I couldn’t believe I’d never heard of this guy! I DVRd next time it came on and showed everyone and anyone that came over, and everyone reacted the same way I did, not one ounce of fat on that entire special. Every joke landed and killed, everyone laughed their ass off like I did. Two things, we knew that we had to see this guy live, and that he was gonna be huge. We were lucky enough to get to go to see his next showtime special in Chicago and he absolutely blew up to be one of the biggest comedians in the world today! Well deserved, he is amazing Live! I love that he doesn't need to curse and be foul...he is brilliant and especially because he has a family and children, I just love that he found a way to be so funny without cursing. Bravo Sébastian!!!

Check out Jim Gaffigan who is just as funny and not vulgar or offensive

How does he do a whole comedy skit without using 1 cuss word? Yep, it can be done! Love him 😊👍
He cusses, but relatively rarely, and when he does, it really hits with a punch!
Steve Boose true Steve
He curses. It’s just very rare when he does.
Oh, he cusses like a sailor. Just not this particular time.
He cusses occasionally. Not often though.

That's so sweet. Must be a keeper.
You just put a smile on my face girl it’s so cute you should frame that napkin seriously
That’s goals right there! 🤟🏽
Mary Joe Russell - That is so cool!
I love how he smiles at the audience after each joke like, “You know I’m kidding, right...?”
Betty Anderson The audience's laughter is contagious. I think his smile after is a quiet "laugh" with the audience.
Jay Zee I think you’re right.
I don’t think he’s kidding he’s just smiling because everyone recognized and was reminded of what happened back in the day
I think he looks at the audience to see their smiles + feedback. He knows what works.
I love that too! And so subtle. Perfect, like his timing!
"I had my Cavaricci's on!" Clapping and laughter from the few members of the Gen X club hopping crowd.
