I switched to a small brush for powder years ago because of you and never looked back. It’s so much better and it looks more natural. I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. You’re the best, down to earth make up artist. Thank you for posting these videos and giving us a free master class all these years!
This is so gorgeous and simple! I have determined that pencil liner is just better for my eyelids, which are rather soft and loose and hard to make an attractive line in liquid. Renaissance Gold is lovely like this and is now on my wish list! Could you please consider a video about applying liner, especially your kitten flick, on eyes with more of a fold or softness? No matter how many explanations I try to read online, I never seem to get the hang of making a flick where the point doesn’t disappear into the little fold of skin on the outer corner of my eye when the eye is open. Actually seeing this on an eye like that would be so helpful! Thank you!
I have a video "would you try liner like this?" where the application can be really flattering for this type of eye / eye shape but I'll make note for a future video xxx
You may already have done this but a tutorial on how to balance eye makeup with a red lip if you want some definition but don’t want smoky eyes. I always feel like I can’t do red lips with little eye makeup (or perhaps I just don’t think I look good without defined eyes 🤷♀️). Love your videos - very relaxing
Stunning! Lancome had an xmas kit in the early 90's that i loved. Gold themed, looked perfect with matte powder, red lipstick, and their fabulous mascara
Please make a video on your favourite beauty books. You’ve mentioned the odd ones before so it would be interesting to see what’s in your collection! ❤
I would be really, really grateful for a video or maybe even a “mini series” (like the under eye series) on pigmentation. The different types (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma, etc.), treatments that help and how to cover pigmentation with makeup. The technique from the acne covering video doesn’t work for me because the patches are quite large. If I cover them completely, the makeup looks very cakey and heavy. If the coverage is too light, the pigmentation shines through and makes the makeup look quite messy. I’m dreading autumn because after the summer, it’s always worst although I’m extremely disciplined with the sunscreen. No matter what I do, the pigmentation is so hard to get rid of. The sunscreen is keeping it at bay, and a good skincare regime with vitamin C in the morning and retinol in the evening helps. I also had a few pico laser treatments which helped as well, but the pigmentation is still there, and I’m wondering if I’m missing something, or if I just have to learn to live with it and get better at covering it up. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated. Thank you so much for all the great advice over the years!
you are not alone. i use a shiseido cover stick just on the dark patches. i put it on with a small brush and try to blend the edges. with varying success.
I have melasma too. I find using Nars soft matte complete concealer in a slightly deeper shade than my usual skin tone and in a peachy shade seems to take the edge off and it somehow blends. Not perfect but… Dabbed or using a brush to apply onto the affected areas (mine are also quite big) and then applying a bit of cream bronzer to sort of even out my forehead and make it look a bit like a tan. I find using a shade of foundation that fully matches my skin tone makes the pigmentation look ashy. It’s a work in progress. I’ve used hydroquinone which gets rid of it temporarily…. I don’t know if repeated use is a good idea but it does work for me and then trying to maintain a good skincare routine. I also find that even if I use spf50 it still comes through. At one point I felt like I just wanted to embrace it. I have found a lot if influencers have been saying that it makes women look old which I find really erroneous because you can develop it at any age from the contraceptive pill. And I think that makes women feel wise about it and like it’s something to be ashamed of. I hope that it will become more accepted, like some women are not dying their hair these days and embracing their greys, and things like vitiligo are more visible in the public eye. For me it’s also my heritage I think that’s causing me to be prone to it. I hope that it becomes something we can more embrace. xxx
@@ruthschambers Great advice! Thank you so much! I tried hydroquinone a few years ago, but for me it didn’t work that well. The pico laser treatments really helped, but some pigmentation patches are still there. And yes, certain people can make you feel quite bad about this. More acceptance would be great. :)
I used this exact eye pencil with a very similar kind of make-up a couple of months ago, and I received a lot of compliments! I use velvet muse in my cheeks and lips... THE VELVET MUSE, which always brings me a lot of compliments. Xxxx
Hi Lisa 👋 love your videos and have been watching you for years ❤ I'm wondering if you could do a video one day explainining your thought processes between individual faces. If you were to do my makeup for example (& in my dreams! Lol), I would likely ask you what type of makeup you think would suit my face, and why. I would love to give you creative license to do what you think would suit me best. This would be in regards to looks but also other details. I remember one time you mentioned that different people take to foundation in different ways. This kind of detail is educational and also really fascinating.
I did a version of this makeup in the morning, the eye makeup part mainly, because I don't have contouring products. I like the effectiveness yet minimalism of the look! The Renaissance Gold pencil is simply perfect.
I love any video where you show us any products you’re using, also would be cool to see your makeup kit and how you make it, a look with a pinky shimmery but also pretty understated eye and darker blush and a warm darker pink/redish lip would be nice. Also if you wanted to do a video of creating a look for a long distance follower by seeing photo of them, I’d happily volunteer lol
Because I have downturned hooded eyes, I always draw the cat-eye from the lower lashline up and out. This way I don't end up with the line pointing downward.
I'm a 44 years old arab...i wear exactly the same eye makeup but thank you for the face makeup ...you're such an artist...i will try to do the same from now on ❤
Hi Lisa! 😊 I just did my makeup while watching your video and tried to recreate the look with my brand new Lisa Eldridge skin tint 🤗 A few weeks ago, your team was incredibly sweet and helpful in sending me samples to find the perfect shade-I really appreciate that! It feels like your team shares the same warmth and kindness that you do. I’ve ordered and received my right shade, and I’m absolutely loving this skin tint! It makes my skin look so healthy and feels amazing on the skin! The fact that it contains skin-caring ingredients is, for my acne prone skin, the cherry on top for me 🙌🏼 For content ideas: I’m curious how you would do makeup for hooded and more droopy eyes? I’d love to do a little wing, but it’s not the most flattering on my eyes because of that unfortunately. Is that something you’d consider making a video about? 🙂
Great look, very elegant. Beautiful. I struggle with mature (68 years old) hooded eyes and would love a video with suggestions and tips. Have a great day.
I’m wearing this eyeliner now!!! Had a birthday splurge at your counter in Liberty yesterday and was looked after by Grace - she was so wonderful and knowledgeable! 😊
Beautiful look, Lisa. I'd love to see you do a winged eye pencil look on someone like me with eyes that are sunken in a bit. Doing a wing is challenging with eyes like mine. 😊
Hey everybody out there, especially Lisa Eldrige herself 😊☺️ I would like to get some tips for those of us who struggle with their menopause. Sweating everywhere in the face🥵, so it is hard to let any makeup „stay“ there…🙈 Perhaps you can show us some tips and tricks to get out of this really uncomfortable situation 🙏
Oh I feel for you having just come out the other side of menopause My tips (if they help): moisturise well, keep your base products quite sheer, light powder as needed, a bottle of face mist like Lisa’s or the Charlotte Tilbury (seems bullet proof) but keep it in a cool bag for refreshing during the day. And have a fan in your bag (really helps). It will pass and I hope your menopause journey isn’t too bad for you ❤
I’m 31 and I hear you! Not trying to make light of your situation but yeah I sweat a lot which is why I hate wearing makeup unless I really have to. But it looks so bad when I have makeup on and sweat, it looks separated - yuck. I hope you get the tips and tricks you’re looking for 😊
My head and face sweat so badly & not because of menopause, though I am in it. I’ve just ALWAYS had a very hot face & head! Summer is brutal! I end up wearing nothing but sweat proof sunscreen over my moisturizer. No makeup at all except maybe a bit of mascara & lip gloss, but usually nothing!

Lisa, I love all your makeup looks, I really enjoy watching your videos, I respect you a lot as a makeup artist for many years. Lots of kisses from Chile 🥰
This is such a gorgeous look that proves that less is definitely more! Your skin looks absolutely flawless, and those eyes! I'm putting that eyeliner in my basket right now! I love the tip you used to dot the liquid eyeliner in between your lashes, I can't believe what a huge difference something so subtle can make! I love defining my top lashes, but I can never ever line them, so I don't bother, but using your technique, I definitely will be. Thank you so much for this beautiful, natural, and absolutely stunning look! I would love to see a brown/bronze look with both a natural lip colour and a bright red as a complete contrast on brown skin, please! I have a family wedding at the end of the year in Mexico, and I have no idea whether to go natural or glam! Either way, I'd love it to be able to complement and stand up to our brightly coloured traditional Indian outfits! Thank you. xxx❤🥻
Hello Lisa ❤ I love this look, I will definitely try to recreate it. I usually wear Kitten Mischief with 1W pencil but it looks amazing on you with 1N. I would love to see a tutorial for the look you did on Eva Green for Bulgari shoot with those glittery blue eyes or a tutorial for Penelope Cruz style makeup. 😻
That was such a lovely video! Your content is amazing! And your delivery is so soothing and uplifting. Thank you! I love your tutorials on makeup application. I never get tired of it!🌷
Lisa thank you so much for your thoughtful make-up releases. Your number 9 shade is the only one that's ever matched me as a pale olive! It's a PERFECT match! I wish I could have someone like you to advise me on colour matching though! The struggle to find flattering shades is so real. You've taught me so much and I hope to one day be able to leave the house with an actual eye-look like this one. I guess I'll just keep watching these and practicing! Ps. If you ever do a pop-up again I really hope to meet you there some time!
Thank you for another great video. I‘m really bad at doing makeup and since I watch your videos, I got better 🥰 and I try new things! Thank you, dear Lisa, and greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
The Renaissance Gold is one of my favorite eyeliners! I use it all the time. Such a beautiful look! And I really hope you release a concealer, because I am so looking forward to it!!
Wow! Absolutely gorgeous. I love all your videos to be honest. I admit to usually scrolling through the foundation application because I personally almost never use it. But I just love all the rest. I have hazel eyes so I love eye makeup looks using purples, grapes, and burgundies if you ever feel like doing a video like that again. Your eyeshadows look elite and I wonder if they will be available ever at Sephora's in Canada. Sandy (from hubby's account)
Brilliant! I wonder if it is possible to do a muted kitty eye, let's say with a very light brown. I have green eyes and find that black is a bit too harsh.
Hi Lisa, I have followed you right from the start and think this is my favourite look out of all 😍 you make face art accessible to all who knows how to be inspired ⭐️ thank you ❤️🙏
Hi Lisa, THANK YOU as always for your beautiful tutorials. I love your voice, so elegant and put together that it makes my soul soar when listen to your lessons. ♥Can you please make a tutorial for fair-skinned people (not blond) with a pink/cool undertone, everything on my face turns into an orange hue easily. Your lovely kitten mischief for instance, on me is more coral than any other person. All blushes are strong on my face I only can use the lightest amount of Stilla Lillium blush as an example, no bronzer, etc. Thank you🥰♥
Gorgeous! I will try this look next! I love Liquid Larex eyeshadow and have almost all the colors. These days I am using only liquid larex for my eye makeup, using it as an eyeliner as well. I would love to see different ways to use LL!
The look is spectacular and I have been trying and and trying to recreate with varying degrees of success. I love all red carpet recreations you do and I have missed the recreations from magazine covers of your work if you had the chance to share on of those. Possibly a D.Lippa look? All her looks look amazing.
This is such a beautiful look! Plus, you're so beautiful! I'd love to see more everyday polished, effortless looks. I work in dentistry, and I like to look groomed, not OTT. My makeup should do the talking when I put the face mask on, but also when I remove it!❤
I really don't suit graphic liquid liner so i did something similar to this the other day with my Lisa Eldridge eye pencil in the night forest shade ... I have hazel eyes and it looked amazing! 😮 💚
Dear Lisa, Would it be possible to see Helena Bonham Carter in your studio one day? She has so unique (and beautiful) features! How do you work with that?
Love your approach to makeup, Lisa! Your look here is STUNNING yet approachable. Just bought your eyeliner in Renaissance Gold & know I’ll love it❣️❣️😘😘
Hi Lisa, I have a concern maybe you can help with. I am 42 with deep set hazel eyes. As time has gone on I'm at a point where the crease of my eyelid goes down all to where I would put a wing. If I try to put a wing I run into the extra skin from my crease. Am I doomed to never have a baby wing again?? I love the look!! P.S. Even when i am looking straight ahead, the fold is there 😢 All the best, Anna 😊❤❤
@@LisaEldridge I will look into it! But a video coming from you, my favorite makeup artist, would be best. You're great at explaining things as well! All the best, Anna. And thank you for the reply! 😊❤😊😊😊
So pretty!! 🩷 The future content suggestion I always make is to do concealer on someone with SUNKEN DARK BLUE under eyes. 🤪🙏
Love this look, would love some tips on how to achieve similar winged soft look on older, more wrinkled and sunken eyes to lift the eyes.
Would love to see you work on a model with darker than usual circles under the eyes!
I would love you to do a look on someone with thin lips. Not necessarily trying to fake out the lips, but a whole look that looks balanced.
I would love to see that as well since I have a thin upper lip and a regular bottom lip.
When you put the lipstick on your cheeks it's like the look all came together and I honestly had a wow moment 😅 so gorgeous 😻
I love watching your tutorials - they are so calming. And you use such a light hand when applying product. This is a beautiful look for brown eyes! ❤

Geez Lisa - you make it look so easy! This is gorgeous.
Gorgeous! I will try this look next! I love Liquid Larex eyeshadow and have almost all the colors. These days I am using only liquid larex for my eye makeup, using it as an eyeliner as well. I would love to see different ways to use LL!
They're so versatile 😍 xx
Such a beautiful eye look and make up Lisa! You are always such an inspiration! ❤
Thank you so much ❤️xxx
The look is spectacular and I have been trying and and trying to recreate with varying degrees of success. I love all red carpet recreations you do and I have missed the recreations from magazine covers of your work if you had the chance to share on of those. Possibly a D.Lippa look? All her looks look amazing.
Fab idea ! 💘xxx
Magnifique Lisa ☺️❤️
Been following you since I was a preteen. Thank you so much
😘😘😘
You need to do close ups for the cat winged liner / edge fake lashes too! You can’t see it. Close ups. I want to see details. To learn. ✨
This is such a beautiful look! Plus, you're so beautiful! I'd love to see more everyday polished, effortless looks. I work in dentistry, and I like to look groomed, not OTT. My makeup should do the talking when I put the face mask on, but also when I remove it!❤
You look beautiful as always❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Love you Lisa! You’re the best!
😘😘😘
You are just so… beautiful! Thank you for sharing your makeup art with us. I have all of your lipsticks. Love them.
so lovely of you to say , thank you ❤️ so pleased you love the lipsticks too ! xxx
Hello Lisa, please please please come up with matching nail colours as well....! 🥰🥰🥰 Lip n tip combo...!
That would be fun xxx
I really don't suit graphic liquid liner so i did something similar to this the other day with my Lisa Eldridge eye pencil in the night forest shade ... I have hazel eyes and it looked amazing! 😮 💚
Love this ! 🥰
@@LisaEldridge not as much as I do! 😅
I would like to see a grunge or goth look from you. 😊
You may like my 90s grunge video 😍 X
I will try to do this on my face tomorrow. Thanks for showing us Lisa 😊
Let me know how it goes 😘
What a beautiful look!
Thank you xx
Love this look so much! Looks like it’d be fantastic for hooded eyes! ❤
Really great for a hooded eye shape xx
Absolutely gorgeous Lisa ❤xx
Hi Lisa! Would love a video on hooded eyes please.
Perhaps if you got a model that had heavy hooded eyes, then we could learn so much! Thank you! X 🇦🇺
There are a few on my channel but maybe a new one could be good too ! Xx
I think this is where i got the closes to understanding: Non Makeup Wearer Goes Glam
Dear Lisa,
Would it be possible to see Helena Bonham Carter in your studio one day?
She has so unique (and beautiful) features! How do you work with that?
She's so fun - would love to have her on the channel xx
I just bought the gold/black eye pencil. Love all your make up and tips for applying.
Love your approach to makeup, Lisa! Your look here is STUNNING yet approachable. Just bought your eyeliner in Renaissance Gold & know I’ll love it❣️❣️😘😘
I love this look, and also I'm glad it's not just me who needs to sneeze whenever lining 😂
You are soooo perfect! ❤❤❤
Kitten Mischief as a blush ☺️👌🏻
Love it 💘
Saw thumbnail and decided to try to get up a bit earlier tomorrow and do my makeup before work!❤
Love this look. I'm very phobic about eyeliner. I feel I'm always too uncoordinated to pull it off. Maybe you could do a baby steps eyeliner video?
I do have some eyeliner tutorials on my channel which might be helpful 😍 xx
Beautiful ❤, love your videos and wishing you all the happiness and joy ❤
Thank you so much xx
Beautiful! Now I need the Renaissance Gold eyeliner! ;0) xx
exactly me too!
@@olab8324 me too!
Thanks Lisa, love this soft look.
😘😘😘
Hi Lisa, I have a concern maybe you can help with. I am 42 with deep set hazel eyes. As time has gone on I'm at a point where the crease of my eyelid goes down all to where I would put a wing. If I try to put a wing I run into the extra skin from my crease. Am I doomed to never have a baby wing again?? I love the look!! P.S. Even when i am looking straight ahead, the fold is there 😢
All the best, Anna 😊❤❤
Look into the "step" eyeliner technique - works really well with the extra skin . Katie Jane Hughes does it well but good idea for a video xxx
@@LisaEldridge I will look into it! But a video coming from you, my favorite makeup artist, would be best. You're great at explaining things as well! All the best, Anna. And thank you for the reply! 😊❤😊😊😊
