I personally don’t like any flat foundation brush as well. Though I should give Lisa’s one a try as I do trust Lisa’s products and her recommendations :)

I can’t stand those old fashion foundation brushes, but I do find good ones can work really well with the more fluid serum foundation. I have never thought to apply a little of the foundation and let settle before adding more layers. I’ve never seen anyone do that before, but it sure looks great on her.

Thank you for the inspiration! I did a look very similar to this this morning, using a little bit more gray in the outer corner and crease to ground it, and then a deep purple eyeliner. I’m in my 60s and it looks nice and I felt pretty all day

Gorgeous look Lisa! Purple is my favourite colour and it can be tricky to find a matte purple with opacity and that blends well with other mattes. I have taken to really enjoying the Guerlain eyeshadow pencils and the Laura Mercier caviar sticks along with other brands as well. I always learn something new when l watch you. Your eyes look amazing. The minute I start putting eyeshadow on I think I look crazy just like you had discussed. I always am worried it’s gonna look like too much so I dial it way back. I'm actually getting married myself this summer, and as I love doing my own make-up and did my sisters for her wedding in 2019, I've decided to do my own make-up as well. This video reminded me to make sure I have long wearing foundation and to check the SPF if it's chemical or mineral. I will also definitely need blotting powder and smudge free mascara!
