Am confused why this Jet recipe is so different from the one in his book "101 Asian Dishes" which calls for fresh garlic, ginger but is missing onions and sesame oil?
This is not quality cooking chow fun. Throwing the chow fun roodles in with the beef will not sear the noodle enough to give it that chared flavor that is well known to chow fun dish. Disappointing.
My FAVORITE dish and only thing I order at a Chinese Restaurant…..yummy it is the best dish on the menu!!

baking soda in the beef marinate? Isnt corn starch serve the same purpose?
The baking soda tenderizes tough meat, the corn starch helps with a caramelized seared appearance
