For Brothers Ramen, they definitely gave you more. The $13.90 portion gets you 1 Char Siu, 1 Chicken, 3 stalks of Menma.

@@BigFatPandaaa i dont think if it matters if its chicken or pork in this case, i think they delivered it pretty damn well considering its chicken, the simplest things are often the hardest to master or deliver skillfully, they managed to pack quite alot for the broth despite it not being pork and its pretty damn good already, ur paying for the skillwork IMHO and its worth it

Nantsuttei used to be go to ramen place but after watching this series I have to try Brothers Ramen and Ramen Ya
as someone who works near international plaza, its great to know there are 2 fantastic ramen shops here (although i tried brothers ramen and wasnt really that impressed, but its cheap anyhow)

Ramenya was the hidden sweet spot for me but now the queue is crazy 🤣 back when no one even knows them, i think the one man chef really put his all into his bowl of ramen and it was simply incredible for me.
Loved watching this series even though I can't eat any of these ramen 😂
I cannot believe that Ramen Ya was not in your Top 3. When I first saw it, I was convinced that I would travel to the East Side and pay up to $17 for this bowl of Ramen. The noodles, the soup and the charred char siew all sold it for me. I'm happy it's in the Top 3 cause when I finished the video, I told myself. The place is definitely a top 3. Cannot wait to try it 1 day.
I think it wasn't there at first because the commenters let Alderic know that the ramen they had there wasn't as good/fall off alr,but at least still good top 3

Here’s to recommending Fuunji. Went to Japan not long after the Tokyo arc and specifically left out a day to go and try it. Went during lunchtime and queue got so long I had to leave to somewhere else first.
Came back during dinner time and I am SO glad I came back. Chose the oomori with extra ajitama, chasu and menma. I couldnt finish it, (way too much noodles) dont be a smart aleck like me! Normal size will do honestly. Same sentiments, I WILL fly to Tokyo to eat it again.
when u go season 2, try tomita ramen in japan, they are also well known for their tsukemen. good luck on the queue also. go early.
probably try the sanpoutei at lido, thats the OG i feel. and fuunji, that is really one of my go to. near the hotel that i usually stayed and the taste never falter.
im happy that brother ramen win, but sadly the queue will be even more crazy ...... 🤣😅
yes sanpoutei's tsukemen is my comfort food, ive been going there since 2016 when i was in sec sch. would spend my part time allowances on this tsukemen
Sanpoutei is still, hands down, the best tsukemen in SG after Miharu Sapporo closed down, so I could care less about the service. I am very partial to Tsukemen though and I ate Fuunji 3 days in a row in winter when I was last in Tokyo pre-covid.
I haven’t had the chance to try Brothers or Enishi because of the queues.
As a fellow Tsukemen head you need to go to the Mecca at Tomita in Chiba accessible by train from Tokyo
Brothers Ramen gave you extra charsiu for sure! I only got 1 piece of pork and chicken. But you deserve it!

When I was living in Osaka, i was ADDICTED to this tsukemen place called tokiya. It's a bowl of heaven. Anyone tried?

You definitely got a bad day on Bari Uma, I've gone many many times, to both the closed orchard branch and the current one, and the ramen has never failed me, but nonetheless it's still on them for messing up on the day you went.
Like I said in his earlier videos for this journey. He was going to choose Brother's ramen as the winner.

Wow, Bariuma falling from top 3 is certainly unexpected! (I do like Bariuma but they do have their off days), and now Brothers Ramen is going to be even tougher to get in with this video!

Hi Alderic, you have to try Tatsunoya in Shinjuku, Tokyo. They serve the best tsukemen ever and it's always long queue, people start queueing even before they open! I hope you can try it one day and make a video on it!

i face the same issue with bari-uma's consistency.
been there over 8 times.
first 3 times = great
next 3 times = so-so
last 2 times = not that thick rich soup that got u hooked the first 3 times.

Personally, my top 3 in Singapore will be Brothers, Ramen Ya and Tonkotsu King, with the Megamen from Brothers being my ultimate favourite, I’m a huge Jirorian as you called it lol.
As for Bari Uma, I went to try it after watching your video. I was quite baffled at the standard because the broth is absolutely nowhere near thick at all. But after watching this video, I understand why. Inconsistency…
I had Same experience at bari. Broth was thick, and too jelat. Would have been weird to see it make top3. Glad there was that final day “moderation”

@@soonsoon5539 noodles taste like cardboard and feels like rubber. Been a long time since i last ate it so that's all i can remember. For the price of their ramen set you can get actual authentic ramen that tastes way better

I found this more entertaining than i expected it to be, but bruh, all your have shown is that THE BEST RAMEN IS THE ONE YOU PERSONALLY LIKE LAH. Your testing methodology is all over the damn place lol you have to test ALL the the ramens or focus on ONE flavour only. Also, going for 3 bowls of ramen back to back to back will throw off your taste because you are hungriest at the first bowl get unfair advantage. By the time you reach the last bowl the hunger bonus use up already. Anyway, had fun, cant wait for what's next! HAHA
haha I have to sacrifice testing methodology for some entertainment. it'll be really cruel to the audience to make them watch 25 bowls of tonkotsu back to back. thanks for watching!
