In this episode we take a look at a Bachmann Thomas & Friends ‘Mavis’ diesel loco.
This model is showing signs of heavy usage with lots of oil and worn out wheels. Lets see of we can revive Mavis and return her to service.

The Bachmann Thomas models are very complex inside, I can only assume this is because of the eye mechanism. I had a do a motor replacement on my Edward model and it felt a real achievement once it was done.

YOU CAN SPLIT THE MOTORS TO CLEAN THEM , i did last week on an n gauge motor and it made a huge difference , not for the faint hearted though
