Just started a tank (75 gallon) which will eventually be a Discus community tank. Was hoping to order all of my fish from here based on the reviews and reputation. I had nothing living in my tank yet, just cycled and ready for the initial fish. Ordered 15 cardinal tetras, 4 rams and a pleco. The pleco had ich upon arrival so I upped my tank temp from 84 to 88 and started medication. Sadly the pleco and now 5 of the tetras have died. The whole tank has ich. Reached out to let them know and they replied the can assure me they didn't ship a fish with ich. Well where did it come from then? No inverts, nothing else in the tank.... I know it's unavoidable in the hobby but the response was not great. Pretty disappointing experience.Please note how this business replies to honest negative reviews. I own a business and wouldn't treat my worst customer close to this. I have had negative reviews of my business and still learn from them with a humble attitude. In complete disbelief how unprofessional Gabe is. The only thing wrong I did here was order from this business. This is not my first tank and I am not ignorant to the problems within the hobby. Don't order from them if you are considering it. Learned my $200 mistake.

Also going to order some discus from u in a month or so hopefully. What are thoughts on male female ratio in 75 gallon community? Not really interested breeding. And does mixing colors really matter?
The acid trick is faster and cheaper
Do you have to deworm a fish if you're feeding live grindal worms . And also on bloodworms you're deworming them because of the eggs inside the bloodworms could start invading their guts.
Any live or fresh food is a risk. It can have parasites or bacteria with it. Why didn't you cycle the tank properly and do proper water changes for a healthy enviroment so a strong and healthy fish can thrive, so to have its own immunities(rhetorical)?
Don't buy crappie urethane decos from pet shop because it was the coolest looking decoration you could afford to buy from the disgusting money mongers. They just leach toxins into the water for two years.
