Jack Wattley has been in Germany at 2006 or 2007 on Discus Championship in Duisburg, I saw him walking around because my instructor told me that JW is here. My Instructor told me some things about him before so I was somehow proud to see him live.
I cared Discus for 8 years, switched to saltwater tanks but discus trigger me all times i see big ones at YT.

For years I have been wanting to visit - I am about an hour north of you - but gotta have the right aquarium before I ever consider keeping any of these beautiful creatures....my community tank is too busy for such graceful fish.....

hi thanks for this vidéo , i m from France , didn't have the money to restart a project with discus , but it's a pleasur to see them on your channel , i remember the time where i did it , it was a pleasure all the time , but when i have to move home for an another home , a fish seller it's busy with my fish .... the second day when i m come to see my fish all are died .. then i stop all ... was so sad , but the passion is all the time in the heart ;) thank you so much for your vidéo , blue thumb and suscribe to your channel , thank you have a long days whith your channel.

Great video! I have a question btw, I have 6 discus and 3 angles in my tank and there's alot of pecking going on and it's really stressing out some of the smaller discus I believe. Is there anything I can do to lower the aggression in my tank?

Great video once again! Gabe i have few questions! Is acriflavine safe for good bacteria in filter media ? How you manage nitrates in high stock tanks other than water change ?
We use acryflavin only in the quarantine tanks. For us massive water changes keeps the fish healthy. We are set up for that.

In another discus import video from another youtuber they explained they lay down due to the increase water pressure from your tank vs the bag.
Dropping the water level in the tank to about 50% will bring them around immediately and you won't have any more problems with them! Give them a half-hour and fill your tank back up.
