The way I see it not everyone can do what you do and probably shouldn't. It's not a trade everyone can excell at even with years of "experience ". Your ability to grasp the logistics of a project and dedication to excellence is what sets your crew apart from the many I have been around. . Keep the videos coming I thoroughly enjoy then. Well done.
It's unprecedented how so well every single employee you have does their job. Each person knows exactly what to do but even more, they do it with such precision and care. The attention to detail is so far above what any other concrete crew that I have seen is truly amazing. It's a direct result of the leader /owner (Tom) who operates with such care to do the very best for his customers. Really makes the viewing of your work quite interesting and enjoyable. I would go so far as to say A 'Dream Team' of concrete professionals without hesitation.
I hauled concrete to jobs like this for ages and am no stranger to backing over footings and running it through pipes and homemade chutes. Herded everything from conveyor trucks, chain drive tubs, rear and front discharges, hauled to line and truck pumps and we called the buggies Georgia buggies and cranes with concrete buckets and 5 gallon buckets but a lot was moved with wheelbarrows. Was a right good dump truck driver but had to learn all over again when the mixer job started. All trannys from quad boxes (5x4) to Allisons. Loved it all.
@@Concretewiththehauses Yall carry on with being masters of the mud. IF I was going to haul anything regularly it'd be concrete. My last truck was a DM Mack 5 axle with a bridge master, 10.5 yards. G9d old truck and long as a dead snake and a push button tub control which I REALLY liked. My 'training' for a mixer was a ' Get in it and GO' and that was it. A 9 yd IH Paystar with a 6-71 and 9-speed OD Fuller. That started everything and in between and out o9f that IH into an old one with an 8 yd chain drive Rex with a 3208 and a quad. The exhaust was straight out from the valve and the old truck flop[ped and popped but would go GOOD, especially with the lo-lo on the auxiliary box. Good old days.
Man, you do beautiful work! It's such a pleasure to watch your entire team working together as one unit, completing their work with accuracy and efficiency!
Everytime I watch your videos I learn something new. I didn't know there was a masonry level, i thought they were all the same. The inventions you have to make to pour concrete is amazing to me, anyway. I've been watching your videos since you started and everyone is different than the other.
A continuous job Tom. You might get all the jobs nobody wants, but it still is beautifully done. The customer should be happy with the latest pour on their property. Concrete slide was an excellent idea. stay safe.
The experienced eye is worth its weight in gold Tom ? I am a retired toolmaker and love your channel, remodeling my kitchen right now ,i told my wife it was pretty close to level and she said prove it. I got my digital level out and it said 0.1, i said that is good enough for a carpenter.
I cannot express this enough. There are so many factors to having a great company that does excellent work and why someone would and should pay top dollar for their services. Ability skill the crew equipment I can go on forever. Beautiful job gentleman.
You hit the nail on the head, most contractors would probably say no. But you and your crew is always up to the challenge. Which you're more viable as a company. Love the job. Keep up the great work and vedios. Thanks .
Ingenious NEW WAY to pour bravo, we are at present, making a cement below surface pool 100' x 40' and hot tub 24' x 24' for our clients, which will be fully enclosed! It is dug out already but we will not cement it till the start of summer next year. Hard to do anything in our winters here in Alaska! This pouring technique would make it easy from above where our Lodge is. Every piece of our install is made on premises from cementing, piping, pumping, Tool and die all parts of generator and industrial pump from existing ones bought 15 and 17 years ago. My sons (3) have allot of time during long winter months to use that time for projects for our summer months...as do my grandsons (14) who are now in their late teens to late 30's! Of course it helps to have working things to observe its workings lol! My daughters (5) and our granddaughters (17) who are in the same ages as our grandsons are more into animal husbandry and botanical ventures! Eighteen of our grandchildren have children of their own and are now being taught by our children as it should be! Everyone on our homestead and thereby our Family's working lodge has purpose, and any way to make things more easy and less time consuming is a benefit this and ALLOT of other content you keep showing is a blessing, we thank you! Family, Faith and Freedom Always!
I think it's funny that this customer is the brother of the customer you did the other steep curved steps for. That is actually the first video of yours I watched and honestly I was hooked! Yes I went and watched the videos from before that but you got me hooked on that one! Once again a great job! Love the slip and slide for the concrete fire pit! Keep those videos coming please!
i have heard of guys breaking out of prison w dental floss and tooth paste to cut the bars just like you guys cut that white pipe. i know it sounds crazy but I'm js. great video again
Great craftsmanship Tom and crew. How about give us a YT short video showing how to read/use the masonry level up close to create grade. Love the channel. Keep the posts coming.
Good afternoon everyone from Virginia Beach…great video & wicked awesome content. Thanks Tom & all Yinz guys for sharing Another OUTSTANDING job Catch y’all on the next one Have a Day
Wow! Ingenious on getting the concrete to the pit. You are the best I’ve seen. I learned a lot from a foreman I had years ago and have thought he was the best….until now. Great work and thanks for the tip on the Bon Tool supplies. I’m still waiting on an order from them unfortunately because of a cyber attack. What a shame people can’t just make an honest living like the rest of us. Maybe I’ll drive to Pitt and pick it up myself. I’m not that far. Much much respect from Ohio. 🤙🏻🤘🏻💯
You guys never cease to amaze me! Great work and preparation that not many can do! Looking forward to seeing the walks tied in and the stain added! Fantastic work guys! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Gotta say, I'm very impressed. It's awesome to watch professionals at their trade. This video prompted me to subscribe. Fantastic content. Congratulations on your channel.
Hey Tom! I am always Amazed at how good your crew is! They all have great skills & everybody works well together. You have done an amazing job putting your crew together. How long have your guys been with you?? You do get alot of unique jobs! But, your crew takes them all & makes them look easy! Another great video! Go get a sip of coffee & a drink of water! LOL
You hit that nail square in the head! Of course TSH gets the jobs no one else can/will do. No others are as qualified and well known for their abilities. Never used a slide just like that before - see, a quick solution for an impossible situation, yeah it took a little more elbow grease, but dang, it sure worked! With your RUclips channel, you're setting TSH up for even more 'difficult' jobs. But hey, that's a good thing. Yes, the broken stone face in the steps look awesome, I love it. Until I started watching your channel over a year ago, I'd never seen concrete steps and walks look so amazing. Since I started watching, I've paid attention to the concrete at the nicest homes and businesses in the Hickory area and I've seen no artistic concrete anywhere! Tom, you should branch out like McDonald's and establish TSH's in every state and county! Hickory needs beautiful concrete too! You really do have a wonderful, successful company there Tom, I'm absolutely addicted to watching your professional crew do their stuff, better than I see anywhere else! Great content! Keep those videos coming, and thanks very much!👍👌❤🇺🇸🇺🇸

If you squeeze the buttons on each side of your phone it mutes the ringer. Even if it’s in your pocket, it’s real easy to reach down and push buttons on phone through your pants. I do it a lot when talking to someone.
It's a small detail, screwing in from the back so that you can unscrew the board later. But that simple detail shows why you get the jobs nobody wants. You get it done and done right. Innovation, skills, and very smart. As some said, most don't need to attempt this kind of work. Flat concrete is hard enough.
You know why you get the tough jobs right because you're the man the myth the legend you have an awesome crew that just gets it done
I don’t know about all that thanks
Another awesome job thanks for sharing

Thanks
Always a pleasure to watch people that are good at what they do.
Thanks

What fun with that be
Can you over vibrate concrete ? ?
Yes in this case the concrete kept moving
To figure all that out, you must have been a mathematical genius in high school.
Thanks but I think my teachers may argue that one.I know my mother would disagree haha
You should get premiere $ for difficulty. Be proud. I did that in my business.
Thanks
Awesome
tom i think you should make emily the camera person not just the editor
I definitely agree with that
I hope the people who own that house ase young That's a lot of steps LOL
So why are people so inconsiderate and park their car right where you are working?

Switching to go pros this winter
Hello Tom
