      I'm going to disagree with you, sort of... In this scenario I reckon the boss being able to jump in and do the work is due to having good employees who don't need constant oversight. I do still agree that that is a sign of a good boss because good workers won't stick around with a bad employer.

    i've been in concrete since '78 when i was a kid... you have a great crew and everyone seems to work great together and you keep the mood light... the work is hard enough without adding attitude to it.. final product looks great too.. homeowner must be very happy with that...you guys do super good work..keep on keepin on!!

    Would be nice to revisit this one after the landscaping is done. I could see that making a huge difference on the end result. A lot of folks have a hard time picturing in their heads what it would look like completed. Nice job guys

    Nice that you cleaned up the pillars. I had a new carport and driveway poured. The company didn't clean up any of the splash from the pour. My siding and pillars were a mess!! I wasn't there to watch them. The back patio started cracking in less than four months after. I was trying to get them to come out, but to no avail. I ended up selling the house a year later.

    I have a friend who owns a concrete company which mostly pours foundations. But he sometimes takes on stamped patios, pool areas and stairs. But you can definitely tell they are foundation guys. They are slobs. You guys are like surgeons with the prevention I’ve seen in this video alone. It’s no wonder you are working on high end homes. Great crew! Great job!

    Beautiful. In Canada we use bales of straw to mitigate the mud. It decomposes quickly after the job is done.

    After seeing just how muddy and slippery the slope got and not seeing any sort of real anchoring, what exactly is holding that mass of concrete steps from not sliding down that slope into those trees?

    Love watching pros work. Did floor covering for thirty five years. Nothing but high end homes. Very expensive wool carpeting. High pressure for the most part, but when you were done it looked amazing. Very satisfying.

      Poured a lot of concrete as a GC for thirty fiIve years, footings walls,slabs, stairs, nothing as nice as the flat work your crew does.
      Learned some tricks watching your videos, almost makes me wish I was still working, on second thought….

    Should have boxed out that conduit to make a tunnel. Don' lock it all in with the concrete. Also a 4" PVC sleeve under any walkway is a big help. I used to install sprinklers and had to dig under stuff like this. A little over $20 would save future contractors a day of work. This project is cool I love the curves. Nice work.
