You continue to set the bar higher and higher, this project had an amazing turnout. I’d bet 90% of contractors wouldn’t even consider the patch work at the transitions. Everyone who hires you to do their work is very fortunate, true professional’s in every aspect.
Tom ,we,ve been watching your channel for some time now . I just realized ,you and your crew do more than put down concrete. Your projects are works of art . The cuts and grooves and angles add so much to the overall job. Not only is the finished job made to last ,it is also very inviting to look at . The homeowners get to look at it every time they come and go . And when visitors see it ,that is free advertising .
Who else would come back and put cold patch at those transitions? No one except Tom. The sand was a very thoughtful touch as well. I continue to be very impressed with your emphasis on the 'little things' ( like putting the sod/dirt back in place) making the job totally complete for total customer satisfaction!
I do so hope this channel grows to over 100k. I see no reason why it won't. Those walks and patio added so much beauty to that home, and value. Whatever they paid for that stunning exposed aggregate, they would get back more if they ever sold the property. They really should get TSH to replace the drive w cement w borders to match the walks. The one thing that would really make the walks shine is nice green grass. After that happens the beauty of the aggregate will stand up and sing hallelujah! You bragging on your crew made me smile ear to ear. I have that thought during every video I watch. Like I've said before; your work is your signature and TSH's signature is awesome! You should be proud of them, you trained them! I absolutely love the look and color of exposed aggregate and w the joints yall added for crack protection just sent the beauty of it over the top. Guess that's part of TSH's signature. I do hope they have you back to do the drive so we can see grass up to the walks. You did a very good job videoing too Tom, thanks so much! I'll share this w my brother and boys as soon as I finish this. Can't wait to see the next project! 👍👌❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
It’s a great morning when I grab a coffee and find a new Concrete with the Hauses waiting for me. Seeing your team craft concrete work second to none is always a pleasure to watch.
Man the content in your concrete is always superb. That butter looks like country Crock, even on the hot days. We never get cream like that from a mix truck, regardless of which one of the three companies we buy from. Must be nice to work with quality products. We make it look good.. but we sure got to work a lot harder to do it 🤣.
Nice job there Tom, congrats to the crew. Sounds like a burger Friday would be appropriate. I hope the home owner calls you to replace that asphalt driveway in a couple years. Thanks much for the great video!!
Tom, I am glad your having a good time making the videos because I am having a great time watching and learning from them. Don’t change anything, the numbers of viewers will come along. If you watch one, you’re hooked!
Great Job, glad Mike Morgan "Outdoor With The Morgans" told us all about your channel. Appreciate craftsmanship when i see it. Beautiful work, i like the exposed aggregate look. Here mostly 5/8 "Rainbow Rock" is used, but i like the exposed look of this much better. The chemicals are new to me as well. TY For the effort to bring us along. from SE Texas Bear
No doubt your customers always have raving approval of your beautiful work. I’d like to see their reactions once in a while. Stellar job as always! 🎉🎉🎉
I admire your attention to detail. I also admire you and your crew's attention to the final aesthetics that the home owner and all others see when they see the final product of your work. It's obvious that you and your crew take extreme pride in a job well done.
Nice looking job Tom. The exposed aggregate is a look the customer should use more often. Your attention to the details, makes for a professional job well done. Stay safe.
Good Sunday morning everyone!!…another fantastic job!! Love the look of the exposed aggregate, but how does it hold up in the ice/snow & footing. Loved the Irish ☘️ music. Tom, you’re right, your crew earned a free lunch from the Boss on this job too 😁😁😁 Catch y’all on the next one Have a Day!!
That job looks amazing! You guys take so much pride in your work and that’s so nice to see. I can’t wait to see the next masterpiece you guys do. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next great video!
Awesome job and awesome video as usual. If it’s available, I think some of the Benny Hill Show music would be great during some of the time lapse segments lol.
What a great job. I never realized what an improvement to a home concrete can make. Just a suggestion, why not get a drone to show the before and after as a quick recap at the end of your video. It would really show the quality work that you do and the difference it makes.
watching you put the surface retarder on, wow what a fantastic job into detail you and your crew do, i have said it before, i get out a lot since i am retired, i have an electric fat tire mountain bike that goes 140 miles on two batteries if i dont want to pedal, new construction sites are the places i am riding and someone lied to the guys saying they do a great job lol, i see your work and thiers, they are in the wrong line of work
Next time, consider maybe instead of cold patch try cutting the asphalt for a nice straight and even transition to pour to. We do this and it turns out a very nice finish. Just a thought. Great channel.
I really like exposed aggregate, and the color added to this one is perfect with the house. Has anyone ever tried the cut stone edge with aggregate? After seeing y’all cut in the “Y” at sidewalk and driveway ends I now notice how older concrete sidewalks and driveways really do crack exactly like that! I honestly do not think there is another concrete company who is as professional and conscientious as yours. 🥇
Did you ever think of using some 1/8" or 1/4" plexiglass as an edge protector when your spraying color or sealer instead of cardboard? It would be a lot more rigid and should last a long time, plus you could see through it if that would be of any benefit. Just a thought. Nice job as usual. Ron
That’s a good idea I have tried other things but they wind up getting broken in the back of the truck such as plastic squares with fold up handles and quarter inch plywood with fold up handles but everything seems to get broken just how it goes
Don’t know what going on with RUclips. I was already subscribed to this channel, then I noticed I wasn’t getting any notifications. Had to go looking for the channel. And recent videos 🤷♂️
Love your channel. The way you guys work together makes the day go so much better. The retardant that you use, is there a time limit it can be down, before you can’t wash it off? Thanks
Nice job🎉 I’m just wandering what kind of the concrete mix you are using? Is the yellow quikrete concrete mix from home depot will be same result or you have a specific concrete mix ? Please advise, thank you!
I think I would have a hard time deciding which process to go with as far as exposed aggregate, different kinds of stamping, whether it be wood planking or other ways. I suppose down the road these people would go with a concrete driveway, maybe. Cause we all know black top doesn't last.
amazing video!!! i am thinking of doing a small job at my house, couple questions, how far did you dig or whats the thickness of the base material and the concrete? and what psi is the washer or does it even matter? did you get seeded concrete or cna you seed on top?
Do you want to stay about 2 to 4 inches of sun base 4 to 4 1/2 inches of 4000 PSI concrete order a 1B expose mix that gives you a nice size aggregate for the exposed block or power washers are 3500 psi not too important
That's some cool looking stuff. Atleast you don't have to brush it or really smooth it out. Not sure if they have that stuff here in Florida I've never seen it.
You talked about how many yards to do the one job I don’t know which job but I’ll like to know how many yards it took I try to watch all your videos that you do but I think maybe I missed one I don’t know but I like them all thank you so much
Just curious, is the exposed aggregate finish your most expensive one? The extra steps needed have to make a difference on the cost but it is my favorite look.
You continue to set the bar higher and higher, this project had an amazing turnout. I’d bet 90% of contractors wouldn’t even consider the patch work at the transitions. Everyone who hires you to do their work is very fortunate, true professional’s in every aspect.

I continue to be very impressed with your emphasis on the 'little things' ( like putting the sod/dirt back in place) making the job totally complete for total customer satisfaction!
Not all the time but when we can
YES! Dirt and sod back in place is worth $$$ . . . And major professionalism points!!! Is that a word?!
Who says we blokes can't multi-task ? Holding the camera AND tank with one hand while spraying with the other! Well done Tom (and Team Hause).
Thanks

Exposed concrete just has such a neat look to it. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome thank you

Top notch residential concrete artists. 😉

I absolutely love how you make sure there is no splashing of concrete !! That's professional !!!!!!
Thanks

I'm always amazed by that aggregate finish. I still don't understand how it works but it obviously works. Fantastic.
Another great job the guys deserve that lunch can't wait for the next project .
Thanks
No doubt your customers always have raving approval of your beautiful work. I’d like to see their reactions once in a while. Stellar job as always!

I like how you laid out the front walk. The flairs at the steps and the driveway make the walkway to the front door look inviting to visitors.
I admire your attention to detail. I also admire you and your crew's attention to the final aesthetics that the home owner and all others see when they see the final product of your work. It's obvious that you and your crew take extreme pride in a job well done.
They’re a great bunch of guys
Thank you for showing the beautiful exposed aggregate work of art !
You’re welcome thank you
the aggregate look makes everything around stand out , by far 1 of the best looking porch and sidewalks I seen
I love the look of the exposed. And the front steps are outrageous. 🎉 yes the team needs a free lunch for sure. They are rock stars of concrete.
OK sounds good
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the look of that exposed aggregate, the border really sets it off
You guys have perfected exposed!! I wish people asked for it more in MN, it's a great look for decorative.
Another awesome job love the walks
Nice looking job Tom. The exposed aggregate is a look the customer should use more often. Your attention to the details, makes for a professional job well done. Stay safe.
Thank you very much
So that's how it's done!
🤩 gorgeous
Learned a lot off of this video....Thanks!
First class, Sir! You are all a credit to your profession. Respect from the UK.🇬🇧

It holds up very well just like all concrete keep it sealed
@@Concretewiththehauses
Thanks for the reply
Wasn’t sure if you could put some type of anti Ice product on it
Wish I had seen your work many years ago when I carried out a few small DIY projects on my own home here in the UK . Inspiring
Thanks
You’re one of few that goes above and beyond 👏👍
Thanks
I can tell that this is not the first time y'all have done this. A good crew makes all the difference, and thats why you get so much business.
So true
Awesome work as usual !!!!
Great attention to detail(from prep to clean up) and artistry. Why aren't all contractors like you🙂???
I have a great crew

Beautiful job! A lot going on with this job! The A team comes through again!!
Thanks
Truly magical indeed, I, love the technique and looks of the final product, thus the difference between not and having makes the difference. 😃

actually using it tomorrow
Great job. Clean & efficient.😎❤️

watching you put the surface retarder on, wow what a fantastic job into detail you and your crew do, i have said it before, i get out a lot since i am retired, i have an electric fat tire mountain bike that goes 140 miles on two batteries if i dont want to pedal, new construction sites are the places i am riding and someone lied to the guys saying they do a great job lol, i see your work and thiers, they are in the wrong line of work
I hate hearing that but thank you
Looks so good when you seal it when it’s wet with seal… be cool of it could look that shiny all the time !!
Next time, consider maybe instead of cold patch try cutting the asphalt for a nice straight and even transition to pour to. We do this and it turns out a very nice finish. Just a thought. Great channel.
What a beautiful area, all around the house. Concrete and stone.
This is a work of art. You could open a school so more people could make projects like this, increase the overall quality of the industry.
Oh that sounds like a lot of work
Beautiful work & always attention to detail, true professionals & craftsmen!!
Damn nice work. Impressive.

Thanks
Looks great, what a team. 😊

Have you tried using a deck washer attachment for cleaning the exposed aggregate surface ? Seems like it mite speed things up !
Not a bad idea thanks
Don’t know what going on with RUclips. I was already subscribed to this channel, then I noticed I wasn’t getting any notifications. Had to go looking for the channel. And recent videos 🤷♂️

Osome job Tom and crew

I admire your detail
Thanks
Nice job 👍🏻
Love your channel. The way you guys work together makes the day go so much better. The retardant that you use, is there a time limit it can be down, before you can’t wash it off? Thanks
I would say within 24 hours
Nice job🎉 I’m just wandering what kind of the concrete mix you are using? Is the yellow quikrete concrete mix from home depot will be same result or you have a specific concrete mix ? Please advise, thank you!
This is a different mix. It is called one B exposed talk to your local supplier.
I thought before when you did the exposed that it had to sit overnight? Thats great it works faster
You can do it both ways
Wow! That is so much easier with surface retarder ,in my day it was a stiff broom and a garden hose and a late day.
Oh I remember those days
Looks great Tom.
Question-Did you not seal the edge of the front walk?
Mainly just the top a little dusting on the side but it is all covered in dirt
Fantastic work….
Question…. Should concrete be sealed every year… what do you recommend?
I typically go every other year to every third year
I think I would have a hard time deciding which process to go with as far as exposed aggregate, different kinds of stamping, whether it be wood planking or other ways. I suppose down the road these people would go with a concrete driveway, maybe. Cause we all know black top doesn't last.

Gotta love exposed
Looks great what kinda mix do you use? Is it still normal size stone or a pea gravel ?
1-B gravel
That’s clean 👍
We in Germany says" Wasch Beton 😇" Looks good nice Job
Thank you very much
Thanks for the videos, we need some reverse talking again LOL
That was funny
That's some cool looking stuff. Atleast you don't have to brush it or really smooth it out. Not sure if they have that stuff here in Florida I've never seen it.

I believe that was home sweet home
What a Beauty! How long do you wait to pressure wash?
That’s a hard one to answer sometimes we wait to the next morning if it’s hot out there’s no problem doing same day
We always use a broom to loosen the top coat..... still nice work
have you thought about a rotary pressure washer attachment?
Yes, we have one. We use it a couple times a year.
I loved very nice good job
Just curious, is the exposed aggregate finish your most expensive one? The extra steps needed have to make a difference on the cost but it is my favorite look.
Middle
Did you (and when?) was the concrete coloured that nice brown?
We put a little color in the cement truck brown
I really like how that looks that exposed aggregate could you have stamped that and still had the exposed aggregate look
It would have to be two different pours we have a video coming soon
Absoblutely beautiful. Can you tell me what color you used and when to spray it?
I believe it was salt marsh gray as soon as we are done finishing
@@Concretewiththehauses ok, so I mix the color into the concrete and spray water to expose the aggregate?
@@Concretewiththehauses you said you used a light brown. Salt Marsh gray ,does it have a brown to it?
Is that stone a type of chatahoochie rock? Is it mined locally?
River rock
How long do you wait before washing to expose aggregate?
In most cases next morning
Buenos días excelente y muy hermoso trabajo felicidades 👊 Excelentes profesionales saludos 💪 👌🏻
