Depending on who you ask, the process of obtaining the fierce diety mask in MM is the best side quest, but to me, I actually feel like it’s a main quest event. Like I feel that something is wrong, if I don’t acquire it.
Not sure if it's considered a side quest but I am personally a HUGE fan of completing everything fishing related in Twilight Princess! Catching all the fish, collecting the lures and of course beating the infamous Rollgoal game (and then i spend even more hours just fishing for fun xD)
Oh HyruleGamer never expected to see you here. I only go to roll goal mini game for the sinking lure (and spend countless rupees due to failing over and over XD)
That Laurelin Village Restoration quest WAS fun, but that ONE LAST MONSTER! I even reloaded a previous save, thinking the game bugged out. I eventually had to use the Purah Pad Sensor to (one-by-one) "seek" different monster horns until it finally locked onto the one that was hiding. When I finally found him, I was like, "You have GOT to be kidding me!" haha
Am I the only one who got the impression from the trailers, that those "Monster Forces" missions were part of a bigger, brand new, would-be mechanic? On @GameSmiths channel, he was streaming a BotW playthrough leading up to TotK's release, and in the chat we pretty much all agreed it looked like we'd be ridding villages and settlements of the monsters, then rebuilding and repopulating them. The clips of Link carting around the members of that "stable band" in a wagon was what did it, I think. There was a LOT of missed opportunities in TotK, and with Nintendo ruling out DLCs, no chance of them coming to be 🥺 …then again, there's always mods… haha
Anju and Kafei by a country mile. I remember the first time I completed that mission, my heart broke because I remembered that every game over I got before I completed the game, it meant Anju and Kafei were never reunited.
Same here 🥹 And whenever I play Majora's Mask, this is the last quest I do. And from there, I go straight to the moon, so they actually get to live their future together 🫶🏻
@ oh you can’t complete the game without doing that quest first. If you do it right you see the wedding at the end….just before seeing the deku butler weeping…
The great fairies in Twilight Princess facially resemble the Childlike Empress from The Never-Ending Story. I also think it's wild that this list comprises of like, six Zelda games, and 7 entries are from the Wild era alone.
It was always the wildest thing to me that the store in Castle Town had the most astronomical prices but Malo somehow bought the WHOLE ESTABLISHMENT for 2000 rupees?? Who did he blackmail???
When i'm thinking about the BEST Legend of Zelda side quests only one comes to my mind when you have to find a girl from a denomic, but kind monsterin the cave under the island at night time that's the BEST side quest! ❤
I actually decorate Windfall with Zunari statues and that stone maiden water fountain. I have so much money by the end of the game. I didn't do the Riddle Quest. Well no wonder I didn't do it. I need friends. I think Joanne and Jolene are part Gerudo. I give Cawlin's love letter to the ghost hand. He should be thankful that I gave him a girlfriend. Why did Cawlin trust Link with the love letter? Did he forget that he used to bully him? 8:39 I think I carried a fire weapon here because I lacked level 2 cold protection. The aliens wipe Romani's mind apparently if you don't help her. 14:00 You can actually cheat and drop off your equipment before starting the quest.
Yes! The couple's mask side quest is #1. I think not just in zelda but one of the best side quests in gaming history. I'd compare it to "blood on the ice" in skyrim. The script was so good, you need to be a witness for a marriage before the world ends and quickly turning back time to save everyone. EPIC!! *oops spoiler alert
The first time I heard about Ocarina of Time was on the playground, and one kid was like, “It has nekkid ladies in it!” Several years later when I finally got it (at a flea market) did I realize he was referring to the Great Fairies. The way they laughed as they pop out of the fountain and dive back in always spooked me. Are they laughing or wailing in agony?
14:22 I cheated Tide Island, I was sick of failing so I just dropped a bunch of stuff in the water, before the challenge loads but where you can still go to, and blasted my way through😅
I really enjoyed the Zorro swimming and getting the eggs, but I enjoyed it on the wii. U. Better on the switch. You don't get to enjoy the swimming, it's not that fun. But all in all majorist masks is a great game.
BotW has so many entries. Shows what a crappy game it is. The main game was complete trash. Had to fill it with low grade side content, much is completely missed by most players.

Yup.
I get you but as it's not mandatory, it's a sidequest
It’s actually a collective of side quests

I'm glad I wasn't the only one with that problem

So I wasn’t the only one 😭

Majora’s mask has hands down the best side quest even if it can be frustrated like the main game.

Skyward sword 😉
me: beat the Maddison side quest... CRAP I HAVENT DONE THE GERUDO REGIONAL PHENOMENON
I don't think it really matters.
I wonder what happens to Mattison during that time though
Not saying a word about Boomerang side quest in Link's Awakening. ¡¡How dare you!! 😈
I think my favourite part of playing the "Cave of Ordeals" was finishing it with 20 hearts and getting a wolf-Link with 20 hearts for BotW
The brothers trying to steal milk in MM can withstand a lot of arrows to the face! Most enemies die with one or two!
I really liked the mayor one from Hateno in TotK
I guess the Nintendo Gallery is something to be proud of, if you can finish the entire gallery (especially in the first playthrough).

From the Ground Up, Mattison's Independence, and the Anju & Kafei are easily deserving to be the top 3.
The fact that you left Kass' return home and the musical easter egg out is an absolute disgrace.

Sure, when the game scripting actually *WORKS*. It’s like you need mods just to fix the bigger offenders since Bethesda doesn’t seem to QA their shit.
I am way too attracted to the Twilight Princess Great Fairy
11:36
Never thought I’d see a woman like that in a Legend of Zelda.
The first time I heard about Ocarina of Time was on the playground, and one kid was like, “It has nekkid ladies in it!” Several years later when I finally got it (at a flea market) did I realize he was referring to the Great Fairies. wait... there were pinecones in the labyrinths???
Bring up Ultrahand. They’ll be highlighted. Same with acorns and Chickaloos
I don't really care that the nintendo gallery quest doesn't get you anything, I had so much fun taking pictures and having figurines made
You lost me at TOTK Labyrinth
I loved wind waker i don't know why it got such a bad wrap.
I blame Tingle
@sarahwilliamson8646 yeah he was a weirdo
@@partofthetribe3277 And he's extremely greedy.
I thought it was because of the art style. Fans didn’t initially like the cartoon look of it.
@ParadoxFreak I loved that about it
14:22 I cheated Tide Island, I was sick of failing so I just dropped a bunch of stuff in the water, before the challenge loads but where you can still go to, and blasted my way through😅
Too much TOTK TBH
13:34 and a hug :3

Does anyone know what background music is being used behind the narration around the 16:00 minute mark?
Can you talk about the 10 Best DS Games next? Or in case the Most DISTURBING NES Game To Have Ever Existed?
