I know this is sudden, but what's the best boss gonna be in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom?
No Ganondorf is my most favorite bad guy in all Video Game characters and I can literally beat the flying mess out of Bowser
I feel like what makes Ganondorf in Totk so amazing is when you get him to 1/2 health. At that point, it’s just you and him, a fair fight, no help whatsoever, and he even flurry rushes your flurry rushes. Crazy stuff.
Not to mention the fact that not only he can deal gloom damage, but PERMENANTLY take away your maximum hearts till the final phase, which really surprised me out of nowhere!
Glad Colgera got an honourable mention, but wish Blizzeta did from Twilight Princess. Her fight was so much fun from the jump-scare opening to the heart-warming coda.
The Ganondorf fight in TotK wasn't hard, but my God it was such a spectacle. Pure visual bliss.
Demon Dragon fight was even more so! Super easy fight but even more emotional and visually amazing!
"He then learns from his mistake and ditches the sheild."
Shield*
Mutilation and decapitation are some of the best things Link can do extremely bad enough damage and literally killing all axis powered bad guys
Maybe I'm being a little too objective, but I felt like there was too much Ganon in this list. I would like to see a list of your favorite non final/Ganon boss fights from every game, then a top 10 final boss list!
Yeah a lot of the list seemed to be composed of final bosses haha
It does make sense though, typically the final boss is one of if not the best boss in a game, at least in my experience @@roadjcat
@@HallowedKeeper_ I guess not in mine 😂
Tbf, the Ganondorf/Ganon fights typically have multiple different phases, which is what sets them apart from traditional dungeon bosses which are just using the dungeon item in a couple of phases. In my view, a Zelda boss fight is only as good as the mechanics used. I dislike Stallord because the Spinner is boring to me.
As much as the Ganon fight in OoT is a thematic masterpiece, my personal fav is still Twinrova! The lead up confrontation with the Iron Knuckles (aka Nabooru), the commentary and fun use of the dungeon item), and the hilarious banter upon defeating them. It’s always the most memorable, and my favorite Zelda dungeon still.
Twilight Princess will always have my favorite bosses, as it’s my favorite Zelda game
Preach!
My favorite bosses at the end of my favorite dungeons! They only tried to make more proper dungeons in Skyward Sword after it, and I feel like only the Lanaryu Mining Company and Ancient Cistern really succeeded.
Goht is one of my top 5 Zelda bosses. The N64 version was more of a race than a battle, but that's what made it fun.
I agree on most of these, though Gleeok would be a close second in Oracle of Seasons. The skeletal second phase was a cool and unexpected twist on the original.
If TOTK’s ranking included every phase of the Ganondorf’s fight. I’d argue that Ganondorf from TP would be the best TP battle and the best Ganondorf fight. Going from him controlling Zelda, to Wolf Link(player choice) vs Beast Ganon, the battle on horseback with Zelda, to a one on one twilight duel was epic.
The puppet Zelda and horseback fights aren’t very impressive imo. Beast Ganon and the sword fight phase are great though.
The last cycle of TP's Ganon fight has to be done as Wolf Link.
@@devonm042690I was going to point that out as well when I saw the “(player’s choice)”. It’s 100% NOT the player’s choice, as Beast Ganon will wise up, and teleport if you try to attack him in human form. Plus, Midna will tell you that you have to transform after he teleports away from your attacks after he continues to do so
@@WindMageMasterare we talking now, at the time, or in general? Also in terms of gameplay or are we including story elements? On their own, a tennis game vs puppet Zelda wasn’t anything we haven’t seen in 3 previous entries, but having Ganondorf toy with Link by using Zelda to wear Link down was a great bit of douchebaggery. The horseback battle was such a unique aspect and idea at the time as very few games had horseback combat. Admittedly Zelda’s aim left a lot to be desired. But in a whole from beginning to end, it’s hard for me to argue it isn’t the best ending boss battle to a Zelda game.
Personally OOT Ganon is still my favorite but I’m sure nostalgia has some play in it.
@@seabicuit7247 In general, the puppet fight is really easy even in comparison to other fights like it in the past, since he just floats there for a bit and then his attacks are slow. And then for the horse fight, I found the one with King Bulblin better early in the game. But as I said, the other two phases are awesome, so I’m not trashing on the finale as a whole.
Monk Maz Koshia: Let us begin🔥
Mojo plays: Before we begin…😄
My favourite Zelda fights are the Final Bosses in The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time and Tears of the Kingdom! The Legend of Zelda is my favourite video game franchise can't wait i'm so excited for The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom! 😆❤️🔥
so basically, you don't like Majora's Mask final boss
@@Hegaems and to be honest never even played Majora's Mask, but I LOVE Skull Kid!
Not to mention it seems like Ganondorf in Totk not only gives glooms your hearts but ACTUALLY BREAKS them. Stallord is also my favorite and Really wish the fight was longer.
Seeing one of the the Shiekah Monks get up and fight felt ground breaking. I had over 300 hours in the game at the time the Champions Ballad DLC released. Monk Moz Koshia was unexpected and awesome!
Ganondorf has ALWAYS been one of My Most Favorite Epic *Zelda* Bosses of the *Zelda* franchise! The guy's a Living Legend, for the total Destruction of Hyrule, and he's the Living Incarnation of Demise!
I prefer Puppet Gannon for WW. Also the TP Gannon fight is amazing.
Helmasaur King was my first guess for what Link to the Past's pick would be, but thinking about it, I gotta hand it to Blind the Thief. Similar to the dragon/hydra in Z1, you got multiple heads to deal with, and it's hard if you don't know the strategy. I used to save scum that fight, now I get it on my first try, every time.
Zelda 2 gets such a bad rap, and it really is a hard game, but damn that music is iconic, and I like the leveling system and the spells rather than sub-items. The trick a lot of people don't know is to NOT place the crystals at the end of each palace, since it brings you up to the next level. Since all that does is brings you to the next level, you wanna save those palace clears for when you're close to max level, so you can get level 8 in all three stats. And downward thrust was so much fun! And while Dark Link may be the best fight, the first boss, Horse Head, is straight up nightmare fuel.
I agree with Ghot for the N64 Majora's Mask, but for the HD version, I had way more fun with Twinmold. The first time Link grabbed one of their tails and flung it around I laughed out loud. "Link smash!" 😂
Calling it now that the end of the switch successor’s life span or the system after the switch successor will have a full blown remake of ocarina of time.
Argorok in Twilight Princess is a fine runner-up to Stallord. Using the dual shot to climb into the storming skies like Spider-Man in order to then hook onto the dragon felt so badass.
defeating vaati in the minis cap was SO hard as a kid.
Great list. Really the only game I would disagree is OoT. The Ganon fight is iconic and terrifying, but it was always too easy to me. Vulvagia is slight above Ganon because of the cool boss design and interesting arena. My top spot, however, goes to Bongo Bongo. Dude was so scary to me as a kid after all the stress of below the well and the Shadow temple. Having to coordinate usage of different items added to the speed and the look of him was enough, but bro that damn drum beat was always so cool as well. Anyway, just one man’s opinion
I personally think that the Gyorg pair from Minish Cap is the best boss in that game. It was so fun to jump from each one, dodging the others attacks.
Zelda totk Ganondorf boss fight is totally the one of best boss fights
You definitely picked the right boss for Ocarina
Twilight Ganondorf was a very good one.
I'd like to put my 2 cents in for best boss fights in the game. Some of which I agreed with MojoPlays, but others I didn't.
The Legend of Zelda: Gleeok. Yeah there's no other reason not to be this one.
Adventure of Link: Again, I agree with the Dark Link fight was epic and challenging before you learn the winning strat.
A Link to the Past: While I agree Helmasaur King is a fantastic and memorable boss, mine has to go to Trinexx, the boss of Turtle Rock. It's exactly how it sounds. A 3 headed Turtle with 2 of them being Fire and Ice Elemental heads. The fire one to shoot, well, fire, but the ice head will shoot ice to make the ground slippery for a harder terrain. The one boss in the game that requires you to adventure around Hyrule to find the hidden Ice Rod. I recommend finding the half magic upgrade before going here, as this dungeon consumes a lot of magic. However, once youre able to defeat the 2 elemental heads, it hides into its shell, and bursts out into a snake like form to have a phase 2. It's like a much cooler Gleeok. No wonder this is the boss guarding Zelda.
Link's Awakening: Dethi is definitely the one to go for, as the multiple Nightmare forms were such a fun challenge and nostalgic to see 2 A Link to the Past bosses.
Ocarina of Time: Ganon may be iconic with how dark and memorable it is, but Twinrova in the Spirit Temple making you go back in time to find an upgrade for Adult Link, fight 3 Iron Knuckles, and then use the mirror shield in the coolest way was so fun. Not to mention the fun banter the Twin Witch Sisters have before moving on to the afterlife, threatening to haunt you.
Majora's Mask: Goht is exactly his name. The GOHT.
Oracle of Seasons: Onox does definitely have the more challenging final boss in the Oracle series, but Medelok (AKA Medusa Head) from the 8th Dungeon, Sword and Shield Maze is such a fun boss. It's challenging, and fun to chase around avoiding its 3 forms of attacks. Fireballs, laser eyes, and a petrification attack to turn Link to stone. You can use the triple slingshot to stun it if you have a hard time chasing her, but its not really all that needed.
Oracle of Ages: Ramrock AND the Ancient Tomb is just such a great dungeon. My favorite little secret is right outside the door to the boss, it shows youthe method on how to defeat Ramrock. Break the fragile crystals with your sword, then blow up a cracked block with a bomb, light up a torch with the seed shooter, and then use the newly equipped power glove to lift the giant statue before entering the room. Such a unique way to discover the method.
Four Swords: There's not much to go off of, but Vaati is cool.
Wind Waker: As much as TotK Ganondorf is awesome, nothing comes close to the character development and battle setup you see in Ganondorf portrayed here. A Broken man whose dream was snatched before him as he finally felt triumphant. Only to break down into laughter and want to take revenge on Link and the King, all while a beautiful waterfall endlessly rains in the background.
Four Swords Adventures: I can't remember these games much, but Ganon was a cool fight I remember that.
Minish Cap: The Palace of Winds was already such an amazing dungeon, and the fact you got to fight the Gyorg Pair at the end with the Roc's Cape and the 3 split Link ability was so much fun. Swapping from the big red one to the blue one all while flying around, avoiding baby gyorgs and fireballs was too much fun.
Twilight Princess: Literally everything about Arbiter's Grounds is perfect. From the Poes, to Deathsword as a sub boss, getting the spinner, all the way to Stallord was amazing.
Phantom Hourglass: I don't have enough memories from the DS Zelda games, but this was a fun dungeon and boss fight.
Spirit Tracks: I remember Cragma, and going around shooting his weak spots in the mine cart was fun. I also remember Skeldritch from the Sand Temple was also very fun and challenging.
Skyward Sword: Koloktos. Enough said. Bless Ancient Cistern.
A Link Between Worlds: Blind from A Link to the Past was already a cool boss, but the fact they gave Stalblind a Sword and Shield, and then throw off his head to hurt you was really really fun.
Triforce Heroes: Stalchampion was a unique design and take on the Stalfos enemies.
Breath of the Wild: Monk Maz Koshia with its music and its buildup to the fight was what I wanted more from this DLC. I'm happy he was a fun challenge.
Tears of the Kingdom: Ganondorf and his comedically sized health meter is great. A lot of the bosses from this game were good (except you Mucktorok). Colgera's theme and fight setting is really fun.
Overall, great list of bosses. A bit too much final boss choices though. 8/10.
Maybe try a list of non-final bosses. Way too many made the list in games that had good dungeon bosses.
Good. Maybe you could make a video of the best "final boss"of every zelda.
also, Ganondorf's demon king form, in Tears of the Kingdom, he looks like an Oni in that form.
Can you do best boss fights in every Super Mario and Donkey Kong game?
Also it’s hard to say a better ganon(Dorf) fight exists over wind waker.. but holy shit the final fight in tears of the kingdom is so fucking amazing
My list would be.
Legend of Zelda) Gleeok
Adventure of Link) Dark Link
A Link to the Past) Ganon
Link's Awakening) Nightmare Dethyl
Ocarina of Time) Bongo Bongo
Majora's Mask) Tough to say because all of them are awesome, but Majora overall. Goht and Twinmold are close though.
Oracle of Ages) Veran
Oracle of Seasons) Onix
Four Swords) Vaati
Wind Waker) Moldera
Four Swords Adventure) Ganon
Minish Cap) Vaati
Twilight Princess) Stallord
Phantom Hourglass) Eox
Spirit Tracks) Byrne
Skyward Sword) Kolotos (Who might be the best Temple Boss in the series)
A Link Between Worlds) YuGanon
Triforce Heroes) Stalchampion
Breath of the Wild) Thunderblight Ganon (Monk Maz Koshia was easy when I fought him; though I was too well equipped combined with Champions powers literally sneezing this boss)
Tears of the Kingdom) Demon King Ganondorf (Who is my very favorite boss in the series now, though Thunder Gleeoks and King Gleeoks come close)
My favorite? Puppet Ganon from the WW! What about you guys?
"Oh boy, I wonder if Ganon/Ganondorf will be on the list!"
Zelda using power of God and Jesus an unstoppable force against Ganon and put him back in Hell
Ram rock kinda looks like the boss at the end of the trailer for echoes of wisdom
I feel like adding the DLC is less satisfying on BOTW I would like to know the best boss battle of the actual main story game
Ok. MM should have been the titular character Majora!!!
For me Koloktos from skyward sword is the best boss in general from the Zelda franchise
I'm sorry but if you're just going to say "the final boss" of every Zelda game, it doesn't make for an interesting video, it almost feels like you didn't actually play the games and just pick the final boss for the spectacle. Like Ganon of OoT is a very cinematic and epic boss fight, but...gameplay wise, he's pretty easy and never really challenges you to think, you just attack his tail several times twice and then win. Biranade (Jabu Jabu) is a far more interesting boss fight as there are several stages to destroying the jellyfish and stunning the boss so you can finally damage him, or Phantom Ganon who has the portrait puzzle and then the volleyball to stun him. Even Twin Rova where you have to redirect their attacks. Same for Wind waker. Ganondorf is more challenging and has the whole tag team with Zelda and the mirror shield thing, but other bosses like the Dragon roost boss or Puppet Ganon are far more involved and more fun fights because you have to figure out how to expose the boss's weakness, as well as being a lot more challenging.
Don't get me wrong, some games the final boss is the most epic and involved (or the other bosses are more frustrating than fun), but when the final boss is literally just "slash and spectacle", I think other bosses deserve the throne.
I love how you can just spam arrows and kill goht instantly
Twinrova for OoT cmon… at least you shouted it out though
I agree with every pick.... my only nit pick is that (atleast in my opinion) the best (mini) boss in OOT was shadow Link.
Awesome Video!
Bot
Nope.
Argorok in twilight princess is easily the best boss fight
I have not beat TOTK yet but I’m heading to beat the boss finally lolol
Interesting!
Helmasaur king is a neat design, but hes like a 60 second boss.
1:49 DARK NUTS AYOOOO🥜🥜🥜🥜🥜🥜🌰🌰🌰🌰🥜🥜🥜
Still wishing the doc of tears of the kingdom came
I love every Boss in tp specally dark lord ganondorf
For Majoras I would’ve chosen Twinmold
Twilight Princess is the best game ever made debate me.
No debate I pretty much agree. I do think games like Super Mario Galaxy, FINAL FANTASY X, Silent Hill 2, etc would give it a run for its money tho
I think the chep mariokart
In majoras mask was the worst
Is it just me or did Vaati remind anyone else of Dethl?
I remember fighting one of Vaati's forms and my brain was like... why does this design remind me of a different boss fight?
Wow I can relate. The first time I saw Dethi I thought they changed the main villain of the game to Vaati. I’m glad I’m not alone on this
@@AsherToperoff oh thank gods I'm not the only one
Dethl*
@@LittleAl016 fixed lol thought I typed it correctly
@@LittleAl016 dude on the video the guy said Dethi
Not colgera and his epic ass music?
How many times are you going to make the same list.
Where is Hyrule Warriors? 🤔
Goht i hope you say majoras mask is best boss
wait!, the Stallord is a dragon?!
It seems to be implied that it is somewhat related to the dragon boss of the fire temple from OOT, or at least lots of fans believe so.
@@kageokami5 well if that's the case, how did they managed to get something that BIG into the prison?
@@pauljordan0203 for one, there is the possibility that it is magic bs, on the other hand, maybe the grounds were built around the creature
@@kageokami5 that would make more since, considering how dangerous it was when it was alive.
Is it weird that half of them are final bosses?
Sometimes the final boss fights are the best ones
The video is named best bosses from each Zelda game 🤣🤦♂️
Amazing
I don’t understand the love of Stallord. I always find him to be one of THE most annoying boss fights ever whenever I replay twilight princess. Zant and Ganondorf are clearly the better boss fights in that game
Why was I waiting for the CDI games💀
Just so we're clear.
Stallord is and always will be the best fight in the entire series.
Even people who hate Twilight Princess have to agree on this.
This is not up for debate!
Ya might wanna put that up for debate with the Koloktos fans.
I love Zelda games
Bot
The quality of bosses is another way Tears of The Kingdom improves over Breath of The Wild. ^^
And what are the weakest, most boring bosses? 😅
SUAVEMENTE
Dethl's name is pronounced "deth-ull", not "deth-eee".
Did you guys rip off Zeltik’s video from a year ago? It’s like you changed just enough to not be suspicious, but it sounds like you took some segments almost word for word…
8:04 wind waker greatness
10:32 twilight princess greatness
11:28 phantom hourglass greatness
12:22 spirit tracks greatness
14:00 skyward sword greatness
How about a list without Ganon.
DLC bosses don't count
Monk Maz Koshia I think is allowed to count considering it’s the only DLC boss in the series
AHAHAHAHHAHA, really TotK Ganondorf - the most boring Ganondorf fight of all titles? What did you smoke :D :D :D
Bow -> shoot Ganondorf in the head - finished! some cinematics but horrible boring and easy. Still the worst Zelda Game of all time.
How is Zeltik calling it: "a massiv disappointing masterpiece"
Seeing that Colgera got an honorable mention, I’m tempted to dislike this video. Pathetic boss, overrated music, decent design though. That said, seeing Koloktos and Maz Koshia as the best from their games, you’re safe from that dislike.
list is wrong botw has no good boss fights
