- Yes, the last few parts have finally come in and it's now ALIVE!
The chassis was purchased from the Clod Shop. The shocks have been gifted to RCKicks from The Clod Shop and the body was purchased from Schumacher Racing at retail. A Reef Servo was gifted to RCKicks and the second was purchased at cost.

Thank you for the great series of videos on your beautiful modified Clod Buster. I have been into Clod Busters since the kit was first released by Tamiya in 1987. I remember the days when, if you wanted to modify your Clod, there were just two chassis/suspension kits available: the ESP Clodzilla series and the Bennett Equipment Clod-A-Lever. I bought an ESP Clodzilla IV when it was first released and my Clod Buster has never been the same.
I put my truck into storage for the past twenty years and now I am just getting back into R/C so I brought it out and fired it up for the first time in a while. I am catching up on all the new chassis kits for the Clod Buster so that's how I stumbled across your channel.
There are a lot more tire options today compared to back in the day. I was looking at the Pro Line Destroyer tires that you have on your truck. One thing that I was concerned about is that they look smaller in diameter compared to the stock Tamiya Clod Buster tires. (I notice that this seems to be the case with many aftermarket Clod tires now.) Are they really smaller in diameter? If so, by approximately how much? I am not a big fan of putting smaller tires on my Clod Buster as that seems to go against the whole concept of what a monster truck really is.

Did you ever get the steering sorted out and running again? How about another running video at a larger location possibly with some dirt flying flying! 😊 And possibly show under the body on how you mounted your electronics.
Looks like you need more power yet. I had been running dual Trinity Monster 16t brushed motors and it was just adequate.
I recently installed 2 sensored 6.5T brushless motors and 2 Tekin RS Pro escs in my own custom designed chassis. The overall speed and power to wheelie is perfectly wild (impressive) on 2s.
My only problem with this chassis is the lack of space for dual brushless electronics. However, I do have ideas on how to fix it if I ever buy this UK Monsters chassis.
I'm thinking of taking it to the new Rochester RC track next month funny enough.

The truck looks great. I really like the deep dish rims. It's very hard to find them in aluminum. I do like Proline tires and also Jconcepts. They have been a great source for tires here in the US. I have to say this is the nicest looking Clod Buster I have ever seen.
All clods are ultimate to me. I will own one one of these days.

You should try the losi 25 tooth servo saver... they take up no extra room and they work great! I run them on my smt10 and of course my lmt. The clod looks great my friend!!!

Yep it's CG is low down so it turns really well even with the steering not optimised yet.

I’m glad you brought back the clodbuster! You’re first clodbuster was awesome. sad u sold it but thats how the hobby goes. I had those tires on my Smt10 with beadlocks they were amazing. C10 body looks good but Maybe you should put back the clodbuster body. That’s what makes it a clodbuster. Maybe in the future. It’s looks like lmt with that body. anyways great video like always 👍

You got really lucky with those destroyers because theyve been discontinued for a few years now. At least since before the LMT released. Not really sure why they stopped making these and the Devastator since they were the first racey tires for MT's and were a big hit

I quite like those reedy radon motors I run a 15turn in my Mardave cobra. There not bad at all for the money ;) truck looked very nice jumping and running on the lawn. Nippy for its size :)

Just seen a video with a setup using 2x Hobbywing Fusion motors on a dual motor RC car. Got me thinking about that as an option on a Clod, what do you reckon?🤔
