Wish I had the money to finish my build. It’s been 6 years having my Tacoma and I’m half way. RUclipsrs 1 -2 week fully built out lol.
He grinding for years building relationships man and now he’s in a position to have sponsors. it looks overnight to us but he’s put in the work for his reward. But i feel you…I watch these videos with that same feeling like damn, ive had my tacoma 4 years and i’m still on stock suspension/wheels/tires 🤦🏾♂️
@@fade2blak91 you’re not wrong, it’s the snowball effect. I remember when he was reviewing holsters and knives…..He has made himself valuable to companies and gets rewarded handsomely. I typically dislike overly “ casual tactical” dudes but he is winning because I’m actually on the front lines and he’s on the trails😂.

Man I love toyotas. This is one thing I really miss about going to a bigger platform(although my lifestyle warrants this in my mind): toyotas and other smaller trucks just get shit done way easier and funner, too! I'm hoping that my 6x6 overland build out will help ease the pains of dealing with running around with a house and a garage in tow!

Tacoma are boring and super slow. The lag on them when you accelerate is embarrassing lol. Ford is more of a real truck. You don’t feel slow in it either

dope vlog today. thats 1 sick taco. looks like you could use some weathertech HD floor mats and some proper seat covers for offroad. Clazzio, PRP, Coverking, and Katskinz all make custom fitted seat covers. get some covers with a custom SEI logo on the headrest
Thanks. I was going to get a throttle controller for my Frontier but found when offroading if I turn off traction control I don't have any throttle problems.

How was the rubbing offroad with true 35s? I'm planning 315/75/16s so basically a 34.5 but I'm tried of hearing all this shit saying it won't fit without a tub and cutting up the fenders
They will fit with the proper suspension components. You might rub when flexing out / turning but 34.5s will definitely give you more room

If you pop the gear shift to the left (S), you'll see what gear you're in. I'm wondering if you're ever going into 6th gear... I have a 1" factory lift, and factory wheels/tires, and it has a hell of a time getting into sixth gear. Have to do about 80 before it settles in comfortably.
When you get the hang of it, maybe you could do a vid on crawl control. I still need to check mine out. Only had it a week and a half. But, it may be intimidating for anyone who isn't sure how it works. Not as simple as just turning that dial on the roof, if that makes sense.
And yeah, that dude has some seriously epic trail rides on his channel. How OR should be done!!
