So they have 20 thousand dollar shock struts on the Tacoma TRD Pro seats, but no 100 dollar struts for the hood? And the Tundra has no recovery hooks. So it's not meant for any serious off-road? This is absolute madness.
I mean the purpose is totally defeated now... If you wanted a smaller truck you got the Toyota Tacoma, if you wanted a bigger truck you got the Toyota Tundra... But now these geniuses decided to make the Toyota Tacoma the same size as the Toyota Tundra so what's the purpose...
You gotta remember that a good portion of people will still buy these and never take them off road do any serious towing or hauling. It’s the newest thing for clout.
Those are good looking trucks, but the prices are a massive turnoff. At that price, you're better off getting a Tundra Limited or SR5 with the TRD Off-Road package, then putting your own gear onto it.
When going from the Tundra to the Tacoma, the Tacoma feels claustrophobic! The Tacoma should’ve been based on the Access cab, at least then we don’t pretend it has a back seat.
Both of these truck have terrible back seats . Zero storage , terrible leg room . Worst in class . I’ll stick with my 2020 Ram Rebel . In floor storage bins . Massive under seat storage. Ram boxes and a Hemi V8 to boot .
I see you're attempting to grow a beard huh? LOL! Maybe give it a few more years there Buddy-boy.... To answer your question you were asking in your title....Neither of those trucks are any good. Both are over-priced, are unreliable as well. So, the answer is Neither is Best, both are over-priced trash! Of course, the domestic trucks are even worse. If anyone pays over $30,000 for the TUNDRA or over $25,000 for the Tacoma, they are just throwing money away. They are also low on intelligence!
Too many useless gadgets to fail, and those $$$ Turbos will not go the distance of a naturally aspirated engine, they’re designing these new platforms to fail to keep the dealer service departments more profitable!!! Toyota has lost their way.. Sad.
I wouldn't buy either model. Just don't need all that stupid BS. My truck doesn't go off paved roads until hunting season. If I was going with a full-size truck. I'd buy an F-150, a midsized probably the SR Tacoma w/6ft bed and manual transmission.....
They look similar size as you say. First thing I noticed
Those teardrop tattoos below the Taco’s headlights makes me wonder if it did time in prison.
Transmission killer 😂

2025 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro hybrid is the better buy 😊
TRD Pro's for the TRD Bro's
The engineering in the design of the Tacoma is better looking it's how a Toyota pickup should look!
Seeing the front ends side by side really shows how much better the Tacomas front bumper/ grill design is compared to the tundra

$70k n $80k craps V6 n V4 twins turbo, how long these turbo will last? Who know.
Good question 😳
150k miles those $4000 turbos will start failing…Maybe sooner if following Toyotas maintenance schedule? These trucks are designed to fail
You gotta remember that a good portion of people will still buy these and never take them off road do any serious towing or hauling. It’s the newest thing for clout.
@@mikehughes8023those are what we call a pavement princess
If I had a death wish, I would choose a rock warrior Crew Max....with the 5.7

Tacoma for manuverability and tundra for space
agree the Tacoma for maneuvering and the tundara for space for road trips or just a everyday life
i would buy both, they both have their pros
When going from the Tundra to the Tacoma, the Tacoma feels claustrophobic! The Tacoma should’ve been based on the Access cab, at least then we don’t pretend it has a back seat.
The next engineering redesign on the next tundra need to be wider stance and taller in the suspension
And a v8..
Both nice just crazy price
Tundra Compared with Volkswagen Atlas
Tacoma Compared with Volkswagen Tiguan
Both of these truck have terrible back seats . Zero storage , terrible leg room . Worst in class . I’ll stick with my 2020 Ram Rebel . In floor storage bins . Massive under seat storage. Ram boxes and a Hemi V8 to boot .
Lmfao
I love the tundra
Awesome trucks for a Toyota
Simple: Tundra Pro. No brainer for the amount of $$$ they’re asking. 🤷♂️😳
Nice 👍
Brother you are looking so orthodox these days☦️❤
Orem/Brent Borown Toyota? Are these in stock somewhere in UT?
Neither, I would take a 5 year old Tundra or Tacoma with 50k miles on it before either of the two new trucks.
You okay Ben? You sound kinda down (maybe just tired?) in this vid.
“Raptor competitor” 😂
$80k and power seat is only partially power?
Do the 2025 Toyota trucks still have the engine and turbo issues that the 23 and 24s had ? I am still waiting for my engine to be rebuilt.
The engine issues were on the 22 and 23 years.
Hybrids and 24s are affected as well.
Beautiful truck but the price is way too expensive

Just wish that all brands would quit putting laptop size screens on the dash
Thought so too until I got my tundra TRD pro. I love the screen! The infotainment system is really well designed.
Yea I haven’t had issues with my infotainment. I love my 24 Tundra.
None of that 🎉😂 buy vintage made in 🇯🇵
Shut up you can't afford
Спасибо за обзор!
I personally, prefer the Tacoma. The rear seats are useless. Please, Toyota - make the TRD PRO available with an Xtracab.
Elijo la tundra TRD
Neither! I’ll take a Raptor in either segment
Tacoma hit puberty 🤣
I like the Tacoma it looks better
Bigger is better
TRD Pro's are for those with smol PP syndrome
Who buy that for $80,000! I’ll V6 Tacoma pro and mod about $25,000 , I’ll have better truck 😂
Too many useless gadgets to fail, and those $$$ Turbos will not go the distance of a naturally aspirated engine, they’re designing these new platforms to fail to keep the dealer service departments more profitable!!! Toyota has lost their way.. Sad.
Overpriced for Trucks with 4 and 6-cylinder engines
I wouldn't buy either model. Just don't need all that stupid BS. My truck doesn't go off paved roads until hunting season. If I was going with a full-size truck. I'd buy an F-150, a midsized probably the SR Tacoma w/6ft bed and manual transmission.....
The Hilux beats all of them including any American trucks. Toyota said they are trying to bring it to the US and the Hilux is a much simpler truck.
Tacoma sits as high as the tundra lol
トヨタコマ
トヨタンドラ
Still to much no thanks good bye toyota 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Neither…😂
Stick with my 2019 Tundra😂
Add a transmission cooler and take care of its issues and you may be good to go....
80k facepalm.
