It can be hard to stay entertained in this game after almost 8 yrs.
Yeah, if I’m not doing a challenge things tend to feel too samey and get boring.
I wish they'd add prom and dance events more school activities.

The only packs that have come out since batuu that I would suggest you looking at/potentially get if they suit your style is snowy escape and cottage loving they're both filled to the brim with stuff to do, amazing cas items, and extremely on point themed build items
@@heatherquinn777 I agree. I really liked those two packs, I still play farms like 50% of the time I start a new household. :)
Lot's of extra gameplay "work" and very beautiful landscapes. Especially the snowy world it's really calming in a very nice way.
@@heatherquinn777 Snowy Escape was a must-download for me. I love the Get Famous Expansion as well.
@@doggytheanarchist7876 I wish there was more to the snowboarding though. I wanted my sim's kids to have a professional career or something in snowboarding, so it was kind of disappointing for me in a way-at least for snowboarding.

Hi! You might want to clarify that the Real Teens mod was remade/the current version was released very recently and should be made available soon, because the link you have in the description is for a page that was posted last July, and the "download" link at the bottom doesn't work anymore. Not anyone's fault, of course, but I think it may be confusing some people since it makes it look like the mod has been locked behind a paywall for nearly a year, rather than scrapped and rebuilt and only being behind a paywall for the usual couple of weeks!
so it will not stay only patrons forever? whered u get that info
@@shushan. I explained how I came to that conclusion in my comment... I'm really not sure how else to explain/what else specifically you want to know? Looking through what's available on Persea's patreon suggests that they release content after the usual, ea-allotted early access period, and they have a public post mentioning having to scrap the old Real Teens mod and building it again from scratch this year etc. The new version of the mod was only released for patrons a week ago.
A note: I'm not subscribed to them, so this is all/only information available publicly.
Hopefully that clears it up for you? If not, I guess just check their patreon in a couple weeks and see if it's out? Sorry I can't be more helpful!
@@shushan. I've downloaded free mods from this creator before so I imagine they follow they standard EA TOC with releasing content after the alloted time.
However, it's in the EA TOC that all mods and CC have to be released after a certain amount of time (I think 3 or 4 weeks but not 100 percent sure) Anyone who doesn't comply with this is breaking the EA TOC and the gurus have said to report them.

Love this new mod! But yeah that CC pack that was still under a paywall after 5 months raised an eyebrow for me; Hopefully it becomes public access somehow 🤔

@@janniegurl05 Yeah, Sixam got called out for keeping things perma-paywalled after the Patreon tracking/doxxing controversy blew up last month. He's one of the ones that sends items in DMs or emails, which makes people concerned that he's tracking them.
Sims Community specifically called him out on Twitter. He still hasn't changed his illegal habit of keeping things locked on Patreon after 3 weeks, but I believe it caused more people to report him to EA.
But if EA doesn't do anything, 🤷🏻♀️

@@doggytheanarchist7876 It's a violation of EA's TOS, which is a contract we all sign when we accept them. So yeah, violation of US contract law.
It's a civil matter, which is why it's up to EA to take them to court. But it's also why they can't legally charge for EA assets. It's not their property to sell.
It's been that way since the beginning in the original Sims (no one was ever supposed to charge), but Sims 4 is the first time they took an official stance and said "It's ok to charge for early access, but not after that". They were actually nice about it to creators, while also trying to stop their illegal sale. Most creators abide by this, while some just...don't.
Sixam made it clear that some of his CC packs were permanent Patreon exclusives which is ridiculous and illegal. If you want his packs, look for the other Sims 4 rebels *wink wink*.

@@PrincessOppie The Terms of Use state that all custom content made by creators other than those of EA has to be made available to everyone free of charge. As soon as the code you produce can be accessed via the Sims 4 game and you want to distribute it publicly, it's basically public property and you have no rights regarding to it. It was established that 2-3 weeks of paid Early Access are allowed. Everything extending this time period isn't.
The opinion, that complete custom meshes are allowed to be perma-paywalled is based on what one Sim Guru once said. A mere statement by an employee can't overrule/change the contract clauses themselves, though, when such a big company is concerned. So it applies to custom meshes, too, and not only to re-worked EA meshes.
That's just my conclusion as a law student.

You should tell your subscribers that the modern teen room cc pack will not be released to the public and its $10 to subscriber to the tier it’s available on.
I did say it was locked behind a paywall still, I didn't say the price because of the different currencies :)

Perma paywalling is a very big topic in the Sims community on tumblr recently. There’s lots of info there if you want to learn more.

I think the "real teens" mod is also patreon's only, I tried to download it and it said it was locked
From looking around the patreon page/reading comments (I'm not subscribed), it looks like Persea had to largely redo the mod, so it _is_ behind a paywall at the moment, but won't be for longer. Their tiers only mention early access, and judging by the rest of their page, it looks like it will be released within the next couple weeks (this version only came out May 2nd).
In other words, I think if you check this link in 2-3 weeks, the real teens mod will be available to you (www.patreon.com/posts/65934592)

You can support the creator or wait a few weeks.

@@doggytheanarchist7876 The cc pack will be permanently a Patreon exclusive despite that being illegal. Plus its creator is partly suspected to distribute spyware. So yes, showcasing that mod is a very big red flag and I'd stay away from any Sims 4 channel doing so...
