Dear WhinyBrit I am sorry if no one told you but as a player your teen sim will never win prom royalty is just like when you buy lottery ticket and you sim will never win that is it the only way to actually win is to cheat by clicking on a random npc teen sim at the prom party with the cheat ''control this sim'' and you make the npc vote for your teen sim as royalty you need to do it 3 times with 3 different npc sim and that is the only way your teen sim will become prom royalty to be fair when I start to watch I was telling myself '' Who is gonna tell her 😂 but she will find out soon enough but now you know you can find the cheat on google control any sim cheat the sims 4 and it will show in action bar and you need to click on the sim you like to control look for action click and you see control this sim pretty handy actually I hope you find usefull

Idk... For my sims posting and tagging just does not work. Nothing gives them followers. Is it only bugged for me?
Karla, make sure if you try this again don’t vote for prom royalty!!! I was testing this out a couple months back, and if you vote for another sim 99% of the time they’re the one that you vote for (including other teen sims from your household voting a specific one).
Also, to get social bunny followers, ya gotta post girl! I usually do it before my sim goes to bed because then they have all of their activities from the day. You got this!
I also should add that there is a menu pop up for social interactions called prom, and if you brag about being prom royalty, that helps too!
I was going to comment about not voting for prom royalty as well. My sim was voted for prom royalty, and all she did during prom was dance and talk.
If you try again: actually make posts in social bunny, don't just use it as a message app, post about stuff.
Also whoever you vote for has a high chance of becoming prom royalty, so if you have a second teenager in the household and they vote for your teen, they'll get it almost for sure
I did the chores to get gold, have my sister vote for me and voted for my own sim. That was all it took to become queen. no social bunny and stuff, just two votes.
To get confident quick - have your sim brush their teeth😂

Being a member of an after school activity makes the most difference. The higher you are in the football, cheerleading, etc after school program, the higher your chances of winning prom royalty...also, never vote for anyone else.

Same! That's the only way I've ever been able to get prom royalty!
It helps if you're a cheerleader, better yet if you're the captain of the cheerleaders in addition to all of those other things you did

The onky way I got my sim to be prom king was when his triplet sister and brother voted for him....Satori (my sim) and Natsuna (his sister) got prom king and the next week prom queen....their brother Asuna actually froze to death swimming before he got a chance 😅
I've won prom royalty twice! Once, in one household where I had twins, I made them vote for one another, and another time, when I was playing in another household, my teen quarter-back son won literally by chance. I don't know how it happened the second go around, but I think if you are popular in the sports and maybe don't vote for prom royalty but do the other quest on prom night, you can win, but it also a little bit of chance, too lol
How about a video of a foster child that has to move from place to place every few days or so to live with people she doesn't know? Can the kid survive life without stability? Will they develop certain skills over others? What happens if the kid has all bad traits? Or all good?
One of my teen sims won Prom Royalty and the other won Prom Jester. They were sisters. I did nothing and wasn't even trying. Lol. I was in shock 😂😂

The happiest I've ever been while playing Sims 4 is when my teen won prom queen. It was totally unexpected. It felt like I'd actually won. lol!

In the Sims 3, which of course was only a rabbit hole, every single teen girl I played won prom Queen, with no effort whatsoever. 😂 It’s kind of nice to have a challenge though, but I’ve yet to get it in this iteration either. 🤷🏼♀️
I have had a Sim become royalty and I think she was just friends with everyone and a part of an after-school activity. No social bunny- i hate the notifications.

Whenever I got it I used a teen sim in my household vote for the other teen in my household.

I have been royalty when I have a big family and they vote for each other. Lol
Apparently if you go with a group of people who you're close to. Best bet is to build a family of 8 people with 7 teens and have them all attend together. Plus take a load of people from the pre prom party, so form group.

In Canada we didn't have prom with high school either. But, I think they do it now. Lots of stuff like that comes from the US, any excuse to get people to buy more stuff. I haven't played much of the high school pack. I like having an extra town to move Sims into but the fairgrounds were the main reason I bought the pack/ whatever its called.
Ive won twice. You have to CLAIM TO BE PROM ROYALTY to as many teen Sims as you can within the week. Have a high level in an afterschool club.
One of my Sims became prom queen when she was critically exhausted, starving, and very tense because she hated the music being played at prom. I did literally nothing except show up and try to get her to eat some food and take a nap. I still have no idea how she became queen.
Literally needed this to relax. I just spent over a hour messing around, trying to install reshade in my game and now I need to just breathe 😂🖤
I would love to see a redo with her enrolled in Cheerleading, posting on Social Bunny and not just messaging, giving them a teen sibling to got for them, not voting for prom royalty etc. I really wanna see if that works!

So, every time I've had Prom Royalty, I've had a sibling vote for the Sim I want to win... You can also "convince prom royalty" to other teens. If you did that... I spaced out and missed it.
I didn't even try to become prom king but ended up winning when I went prom for the first time! 😂 I completed most of the tasks for the prom event (grab drink, grab food etc) but I didn't get time to vote for someone. My sim basically only had family on Social Bunny but yeah, I was shooketh when I won! Love your vids so much, they always put a smile on my face and I always have a laugh with your commentary! 😁

i played through a set of twins one was a party animal and the other was more studious and by prom i had the studious sim vote for the party animal and then she won prom queen. maybe a sibling would help

My sim Prince, became prom king first day at high school. A girl froze at the after party and he dropped out after that.
I only get it when my siblings vote for me + doing sports (or being popular). But I think the siblings voting for you is the major bump. The sims should really fix that.
Oh, hi! 🤗 I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months but haven’t commented yet. The only way I’ve ever had my Sim become prom royalty (queen) is having two teens in my household attend prom at the same time. I’ll have one of the siblings vote for the other and it’s never failed, lol. 😊

I've gotten it a few times across a few different sims. I'm not sure if the first time counts since I was playing the household of a sim I had ask her out to prom for a story line. Next time I played the guy I was playing won. Another time it was my sims first day of school being the day of prom and he knew hardly anyone so idk how he won. I think unless you actively vote it might be up to chance.

Second of all, I wonder if you could sabotage your competition by having them meet you in the hallway after class has already started, but you refuse to meet them🤣 A part of me thinks the system would generate some randos and place them in as generic schoolmates so the prom has more people to choose from.🤔

Babe you have to not vote for prom royalty!! It defaults to you if you don't. Whoever you vote for usually wins and if you dont vote, you win! I always vote my date for jester! Try again, it's that easy. None of that other stuff matters ❤
Bro, my Sim went to prom for the first time and she smelt really bad and she got voted for prom royalty had to go up on stage smelling bad it's like they was makin fun of her 😂😭
I did win it. My sim was born in game with high charisma and a lot of social bunny followers and she had a date.
to get more followers you have to post about events! therefore gaining followers that aren't your friends :)

I finally had my sim get prom queen....I tried to post pictures for you but couldn't figure it out LOL There wasn't anything special that i did....It was a new game I started, the story was a teenager pregnant living in the city. I had no skills really, because it was a new game that I just started. When the pop up came up to go to prom I almost didn't go, because like you say its boring and you never get to be prom queen. Her traits where cat lover, loyal, adventurous, humble and romantic. She wasn't on social bunny, because she didn't have many friends, but she was very good friends with Akira. She didn't have a prom date, she danced, she voted for Kassandra Goth for prom royalty. She didn't vote for jester and that was all I did. Then when they all gathered at the front , she started walking up on stage and I thought maybe Jester, but they crowned her. I was so shocked and immediately thought of you and this video. I only got Bronze so that shows how interested I was in doing any of the events.. I think its really just up to chance. You did so much in this video and didn't get the crown, and I did hardly anything and got crowned. So I think its just random who gets crowned. But loved this video...I love all your videos, I watch everyday...:)

I made a house filled with teens, made them all go to prom and vote for the main teen
You should do a video where you disable all expansion packs, kill every base game sim and see if you can actually win the lottery (not seasons though)
When my Sim had a great reputat they became prom queen
Do a whole video of dickin around with prom. Send a new kid who never spoke to anyone to prom and have them vote for themselves. Send two new kids who never spoke to anyone to prom and have them vote for eachother. Have multiple prom dates. Be popular but dont vote. Don't go to the pre party. From what I've seen, having a sibling vote for you is the way.
I was only able to get prom royalty after having siblings voting for the one i want to become prom royalty. Sometimes when you vote for someone, they will likely get the crown (hate it). And for having followers on social bunny, you've got to make activities throughout the day to have things to post about on social bunny at "make a post". I like the mod "immersive social bunny" that gives more depth and options to post there.
But I'm still also trying to figure out how to get prom royalty without having a sibling to vote for them, I dont know if using the "affirm you're prom queen" interaction at "prom" section would help but sometimes this interaction make the sims mad hahahaha

So, it's really much easier than all that. Simply have a bro or sis attend and vote for you. Just don't cancel their vote by voting for someone else.
Any time my sims have won the prom royalty I wasn’t trying. One time I was playing with a sim that I was intentionally trying to have bad relationships with all the other teens in school so was mean to all of them on social bunny, at school, and wherever else I saw them, but nice to the teachers and other adults and somehow even that sim won prom royalty! 😮 To be fair, I don’t usually have my sims vote during prom so maybe that’s why, but it still felt weird that he was such a mean jerk to all his peers with deep red relationship bars and somehow got prom royalty. So not sure what I did other than use social bunny a lot to post mean things, send mean messages, and constantly did mean interactions when face to face with other teen sims. It’s not what I’d think of as popular, but maybe in the Sims 4 it’s a type of popular? When I was playing I was only making that teen sim mean to everyone because his sister was going to be a teen by the next week and I wanted to have a difference between them as teens with her being nice to everyone. She never won prom royalty or prom jester….and she was such a friendly sim!
I got prom royalty when trying but I also had 3 other siblings at prom who I was controlling and got them to vote for her so that probably would have helped

My morhers Sims are always prom queens…her sims has mostly one friend wich is also their boyfriend and no one else…my sims are most of the time friends with a bunch of people and I’ve never managed to get them to become anything :( 😂 I feel like the game is choosing the lonly sims so they can have a good time even once too 😂😂😂
