what this feature has really made me want is a mod where your sim can either run an anonymous gossip girl type blog, or get a job as a gossip columnist so there are ways to make money off of the secrets they find other than just blackmail
i forgot what its called but sacraficial has a similar one to this inspired by mean girls it should be on the website x

It's called Life's drama mod but I don't remember if your sim can make money out of the secrets. It's fun tho
they did it in sims 2 psp version where you can sell secrets you find so i don’t see why they couldn’t do it for this, that would make it more fun
You just KNOW Nancy brings up her supposed famous ancestor every chance she gets, even if the conversation has nothing to do with it

Ya know what they should have added? A genre of book (writing skill) called Expose where you can reveal people’s secrets you’ve discovered and publish it anonymously OR public. And then watch their reputation go down. But the only way you can write it is if you have the trait.
I wish they made the secrets for the personality.
They could have so easily attached them to traits or aspirations.
I think you have to confront the Sim about their secret before you can learn another. I have a nosey Sim in my rags to riches let's play and she has learned more than one secret for almost every Sim she knows. But I don't get the option to pry for secrets until I've confronted them about the one I already know.
I’ve definitely seen people get more than one secret for a single sim, so you should be able to.

I hope they come out with a Burglar Career Mod that utilizes the Snooping Aspect of this pack.
wouldn;t it have been much better if we could dicover actual secrets? Like..I wouldn't put it past the Landgrabs to have a body or two decomposing in their back yards. Like some lore...not this, but oh well.
New vid idea: its a girl who has had everything handed to her her entire life, then she gets pregnant, so her parents raise the kid until the kid blows all the money, so the parents kick out the both of them, so both of them have to work for money wile both of them are going to school

You can uncover more new secret only after you blackmail them. One blackmail at a time.
I’m waiting for someone to come up with a good mod for these secrets and then I might think of buying this expansion.
Would love to see another storylines idea video with different ones we can play like the roundups you made before. Extra bonus points if you ranked them in a tier list - which ones were your favorites to play, which ones not so much?

I actually got to play this pack since the day it came out after time passes u can find out another secret from a sim you’ve already learned a secret from, someone has to be having a conversation to eavesdrop at any door, and all the secrets basically are the same for multiple sims but all secrets are different so at there’s that, also just started watching your content love it. Editing this to say also when having conversations u can use the tomerang truth interaction and you found out secrets that way but in a different way pops up in the notifications kinda like a little story.

I’ve enjoyed your content for years, I think you’re super funny, and create super interesting storylines.

Just a suggestion, but can you try making a werewolf and vampire have a baby with no cheats, if you havent? I've tried even being friends with a werewolf as a vampire in the sims, but only a joke got me so far, everything else my sim said was hated. So I think it'd be a challenge to try and do 🎉
I think, think, Jeff Landgraab had the same secret in either deligracys or James turners play through. I am not entirely sure though.
I like the secrets but why are they not on a sliding scale of common to rare secrets? Then the blackmail is priced accordingly - it's more interesting and then the secrets have weight and feel like they matter. 100 simoleons a secret - why even bother?
Right? The idea that someone pays less to keep their darkest secrets secure than they would for a painting by an amateur is nonsense

I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around why there’s always a loading screen when you’re doing the break in event. When you schedule or have an event on the current lot you were on it never goes to a loading screen. Also, if you go to your neighbors house and knock on their door and they invite you in; you don’t have to sit through a loading screen before you enter their house, so why is there a loading screen when you’re breaking into the house? It just doesn’t make sense to me and I’m wondering why they had to do that for this action in the game

Storyline Idea (potentially):
Grace & Bryan (can be whatever name you want) were the perfect couple. 3 kids, beautiful paid off house,loving parents on each side. Until a routine trip to Grandpa's house (Bryan's side) ends up with Grace telling her father-in-law a deeply guarded secret: She's an exotic dancer at a popular club in town, and the oldest child isn't Bryan's; the pregnancy was from a regular customer of hers.
Now, Grace was an exotic dancer before she met Bryan, but when they started getting serious, Bryan made her promise not to go back to that lifestyle. Bryan's father (we'll call him Drew) is floored, obviously, and Grace thinks that her marriage is over. She truly does love Bryan and her children (the middle child & youngest are Bryan's biological), but she could never get the dancer out of her system. Grace and Bryan's "date nights" have been dwindling since the middle child was born, and the third one was a complete accident. Drew finally says something: He can keep Grace's secret a secret if she stops by a couple of times a week for some "fun." If she doesn't agree, Drew will tell Bryan everything.
Though very reluctant, Grace agrees. Drew's wife, Mary, has been dead for the last five years, so it's not really a big surprise that an old guy wants to get some before he kicks the bucket. Between the club, her actual job (I'm thinking something in the business career), and Drew, Grace is more stressed than ever before. And Bryan's not really buying the "big, time-consuming project" excuse anymore.
One night, Bryan follows Grace (who is on her off-day) and is shocked to see her back at the club, her old stomping grounds. She stays there for hours, from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM, but Bryan's not tired, no, he's wide awake. So when Grace finally exits the building, in a trench coat and sky-high heels, counting a huge wad of cash, Bryan can already see red. But he waits until Grace gets into the car, speeding off in the opposite direction of their home.
Now, more curious than ever, Bryan follows her once more. Unfortunately, the familiar lawn of his childhood home comes into view, and Bryan can feel tears in his eyes. Grace parks the car in the garage before taking out a key in her pocket and letting herself inside. Bryan, located across the street, puts his face in his hands. He's confused, angry, but most of all, he feels betrayed.

I have just always used the late great Scumbumbo's "Don't Wash Dishes Where You Angry Poop" mod to control dishwashing. EA/Maxis jumped the shark - I'll call that 1 p.m. Tuesday, Eastern Standard Time. I wish they didn't do the stupid sink update because they cannot do anything right.
And then EA/Maxis breaks gardening once again! Little Ms. Sam? Help! I already mentioned this issue on her Discord.
And can Werewolves get Superspeed? I am NOT making another one just to check. My Honey Hunk O' Wolf Deanna eats Greg for lunch. But she can't run anymore. She just jogs with her face dragging along the ground while she talks on the phone. I paid full price for Werewolves when it was released. I really enjoy that pack. It took the incompetent morons at EA/Maxis about six weeks to break it. WTF?
And I am so lonely and stupid that I bought another dozen broken packs this Steam winter sale. I am kicking myself in the head right now. At least I didn't buy Bust The Dust or Wedding Stories... but I probably will... Next sale.
