@@IAARPOTI I pray to God that it will happen ☹️🫶🏳️🌈 People shouldn't have to hide who they love just because some are sensitive or can't understand it. It's love, there's no explaining that. I might not live in Thailand but I felt overjoyed for those there 🥹
As a fellow bi™please don't feel pressured to label yourself unless it makes you happy to! I've identified as both pan and bi in the past and landed on bi because I felt like it described me better and more people understand what it means, but I still feel kind of torn about it. It's confusing, so I totally understand how you feel ❤
This!!! Thank you ❤ from a fellow - label confused but fully aware of my orientation - bi, I agree with you ❤ let us not feel pressured into some label instead of just being who we are
@FakePeace oh wow for me the other way round. I get accused of being sexist when I say I am Bi.. like, hey what about Trans people or intersex people?!??!! Myeah one isn't allowed to their own preference anymore mppppfdf
@@jazzysugar3777 it's curious what are you saying, because I was called -not directly- transphobic for telling I'm pansexual lmaooo In some circles I used to be, is very bad seen being "pansexual" since they argument that the bisexual manifest explains that being bisexual is (in simple words) being attracted to "your gender and the others genders", so the manifest encapsulates bisexuality is not just 2 genders, but many genders, including your own. This is what ppl used to told me, but I'm not sure about the exact content in the manifest. So, in theory, pansexuality shouldn't even exist... the big problem I see is that they use "your gender", but what if I'm agender? That's why I feel more comfortable with Pansexuality than Bisexuality
As a pan person, the amount of times I’ve heard someone say they picked pan or bi because they weren’t sure and thought one was prettier than the other is so real so you do you! :) I remember when I thought I was bi and then found the definition of pan and was like “oh this fits me more but the bi flag is so pretty :(((“ and then saw the pan flag and im like “oh it fits my personality too well haha”
aroace here! (also little rant sorry about that c:) it pisses me off the NO END when people call straight aro people and straight ace people, not queer. asexual is a valid sexuality. aromantic is a valid romantic identity. you can be one without the other or you can be both or you can be neither. none of that makes you more or less queer than anyone else in the community. the a in lgbtqia+ stands for agender (which is also always forgotten about D: ) aromantic and asexual. not ally. not part of the rant but the egg joke while making the trans garden was GORGEOUS
I've said it before and I'll say it again. One cannot call a space accepting of asexual or aromantic people if said space bars asexual heteroromantic or heterosexual aromantic people from entering. Because at that point it was never the asexuality or aromanticism that got them in. It was whatever additional flavor of queer that got them in.
I'm a demiromantic asexual that has had romantic feelings about many different genders, but ended up married to a cis man. I'm a demiwoman. I really hate being excluded. No matter who I ended up with, I'm not straight in any way or fashion. Also, my partner is pan.
@@doeatwhales Because I'm still romantically attracted to women and nonbinary people. 🤷🏻 And either way, I'm not sexually ATTRACTED to anyone. How is that straight?

queer arab muslim here and im SOOO happy you talked about this!!! there's definitely a LOT of queerphobia in the middle east (where i live) and it's so sad that other queer people ostracize us simply for existing in a homophobic country or just act like we don't exist so they can push their islamophobia. being a queer arab and/or muslim is really just getting shoved from both sides anyway this turned out ranty but im so glad u talked about this bc i feel likr no one does
the same kinda thing happens for us american queers in the south . so many queers in more progressive places act like those of us in conservative areas don't matter as much , or they say we should just move , and that's just not fair because we deserve to stay in our homes like everyone else . i hope they become less douchey about it in the future .
@@wompwomp4961ugh yeah, it always bothers me how people act like someone being from the south inherently makes them homophobic as if there aren't queer communities down there :// it's like ppl don't realize that places with less queer rights actually have queer people in them and like, THEYRE the ones these laws are literally targeting lol
I'm so sorry that that's your experience, and I really do hope it gets better for any queer people in typically homophobic/transphobic areas :( you matter just as much, alright? You belong in the community too ❤
@@wompwomp4961I hope that you and op have families/people close to you that support you, but I honestly don’t get why people will suddenly hate you guys over something petty. You had absolutely *no* control of where you were born and what you identify as (orientations and gender etc) so I honestly don’t see why that justifies being homophobic/islamphobic, etc. Just because you identify within the lgbtqia+ in a certain part of the world, it shouldn’t allow people to be so b*goted towards you. I’m lucky enough to not be surrounded by (except from two people) people who accept who I am. But for anyone else going through sh*t because of their identity and where they live, I really do hope that things get better for you, I’m wishing the best for anyone struggling and happy (very, very, VERY late) pride month ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷
I've recently discovered I might be demisexual and hearing you say all that about support and being valid was something I needed to hear. My friends support me, and I know my family will but hearing from someone who doesn't personally know me, is very comforting and I want to say thank you
Well I don’t know you either, but from one Ace spec bean to another - welcome! You’re completely valid, ignore any ignorant pigs that say otherwise, and if people say that you aren’t human because you experience attraction differently to allo people, then that clearly makes us gods if we aren’t human 😂 (I used to spend too much time looking at ace memes). Wishing you the best mate 🖤🩶🤍💜
"straight people update" and "the trans flag is Breaking Bad" took me out! and thank you thank you thank you FGG for everything you said, legit had me crying feeling so seen and understood and sad for all of us who feel this way, still. (the gatekeeping within the queer community, esp online and in the discourse, is appalling tbh) Thank you for being open and so real. also love your bf's response to you discovering more about yourself, perfect cute response.
as an asexual lesbian, i recently discovered i'm valid. i've seen so much people say "lesbians are perverts who want to be touched by women" so i always thought i couldn't have been ace and a lesbian, so there has been so much self doubt in my teen years, i always felt like an imposter because i had so much internalized homophobia (esp growing up in an more christian blasian household) but the lgtbq+ community has always been so accepting and kind answering my somewhat stupid questions. my family is also trying their best to be supportive of me. happy pride month :)
it's funny, just this year i discovered that i'm aromantic. For the longest time, i thought i was biromantic/bisexual since i felt 'equally attracted' to p much any gender, and i obviously still feel sexually attracted to anyone who's my type. But i could never not hold a relationship, and as i got older romantic advances made towards me just kinda stressed me out. It's freeing to know now that that's not because i'm 'broken' or have issues getting close to people. I just finally found the right word that fits me. Rather than outward hate, i often see so many people around me who seem to have an issue with 'labels'. Wether it's about sexuality or mental health etc, they think being grouped into a category is a bad thing, rather than something that can genuinely help people understand and accept themselves. Were it not for this 'label', i'd still beat myself up over my inability to be the romantic partner people want me to be. The only real bummer was that coming out to my parents as aromantic wasn't as dramatic of a reveal after already being out as bi, lmaoo
Hey Not aspec at all here but I’ve seen so many people fall down the same rabbit hole. It’s kind of interesting the amount of people that go from bi to aro.
@@peckneckanimations as someone who has been through that, i think its because of a lack of awareness on aromanticism, leading to many of us assuming that because we feel equally romantically attracted to all genders (that being barely, if any at all, attraction) it must be the same as actually feeling romantic attraction to multiple genders.
in pretty much the same boat lmao that whole “well i have 0 attraction to them and 0 to them and 0=0 so therefore bi (in my case pan)” really gets you lol plus like no one really have it a good explanation to what romantic attraction actually is/feels like
Oh my god we are one in the same. Thank you for telling us about how you feel and everything you went through. Your experiences help validate mine as well so thank you
I've settled on pan-demi. I thought I was bi for years, but I was also attracted to amab and afab trans people, but also nonbinary people, and genderfluid - finally figured out I'm just attracted to people I like 😍 Demi = ace until I'm deeply attached or in love, nothing casual.
Living in a small Christian town, it's hard to just openly be myself outside of the internet. Not every place in the US is as accepting as others, and we're unfortunately still far from everyone being able to be open about their sexuality or gender identity. The fact that people get so uptight over Pride Month or even representation is why it's so necessary to have Pride Month and representation. Anyway, this build is so fun!
I feel how you do I live in a small southern Christian town, one business even got shut down bc of death and bomb threats just because they put up a pride flag
about the blue mlm flag, a lot of people do use it, myself included as someone masc-aligned!! and i think the flag is very pretty because i like blue and it reminds me of the ocean :)
@@ecstaticryan4369 it means "men loving men," but can also be used to refer to people who aren't men but still identify with "manhood." for example, I'm agender and demiboy! i hope that made sense, labels and gender are still kinda hard for me to explain
I'm a guy sometimes (genderfluid) and yeah! The mlm flag is so pretty, it works very well together due to the shades, and I feel like it's a perfect opposite to the warmer lesbian flag!
So it's funny to me that the lesbian flag is considered one of the prettiest pride flags today (it is), because for the longest time, there was not really a flag at all. And the flags they had were considered "ugly" by the majority of lesbians. In 2010 the "lipstick lesbian flag" got introduced, which is all shades of pink/red(and white in the middle) with a smooch in the left corner. But a lot of lesbians disliked that it only really represented femme lesbians. So then a few years down the line a butch flag got created (more orange and earthy tones) to 'match' the femme flag essentially. And then instead of two separate femme/butch flags, someone just went "Ok... but what if we put them together tho?" It first had 7 rows of colors, but for simplicity sake it got tuned back to 5. Anyway. That flag got created in 2018, y'all!!! 😱That's not old at all! It's the same year the "new" aro-ace flag got introduced (the sunset one). But yeah, it took the lesbians a while to get a decent flag, but damn is the one they got fire. 🔥
referring to any flag that's not the lesbain flag as "sunset" is so funny especially when the aroace flag creator you're talking about literally hates lesbians
@@yeehaw6107 i mean i just mentioned the sunset bc 1) that is what it is referred to and 2) so people know I’m not talking about the combined aro & ace flag. I don’t know anything about the creator, and saying “they hate lesbians” is such a sweeping statement I don’t feel comfortable engaging with it. I just mentioned the aroace flag bc it’s fairly new in my mind. 🤷 So that it is from the same year as the lesbian flag was just to show how new the lesbian flag is.
Bi flag lore: In the Nazi camps, you had a pin (?) based on what you were, and if you were gay (same-sex attraction) you had a pink triangle so then they started using blue triangles for straights (opposite-sex attraction) so then they took both and meshed them together into the bisexual triangle (opposite and same-sex attraction) and then color picked it into the bi flag
@@SimsyHazelwhat do you mean?? Nazi’s killed queer people too. The first book burning was a burning of queer/trans books. (My bad if the question marks make me seem like I’m trying to start something I’m not I swear)
@@Lee-yay-yippe Yeah I know... I just thought it was surprising that they didn't think it was a disease that could be cured and instead, acknowledged it. They were horrible to queer people 100% not denying that but that fact (fake or not) surprised me
I remember visiting a camp on a trip, it was mostly focused on gay/bisexual men. Men faced the brunt of the hatred, although hatred for gay/bisexual women existed. The thing with reporting the "gay" men back in Nazi times was weird - sometimes if they suspected you, you could be arrested. Or if someone reported you - it was a weird and fucked system. Also iirc one of Hitler's party members were gay, I forgot who though
@@SimsyHazelThey did think it was a disease, just one to be exterminated instead of cured. Baffling how you can hear about a genocide and think "woah... they were so progressive"
It's really refreshing to hear a creator discount all the discourse surrounding pride month, because you're right! Trying to judge whether someone's identity is valid or not defeats the whole purpose of pride in the first place. If you identify outside of the norm, you are, by all means, included within the community. The way people are trying to strip away other's identities to force them into boxes all over again is so incredibly annoying. No one gets to dictate who's experiences are or are not valid, labels exist for the INDIVIDUAL to use, not for the public to weaponize or force upon others. I hope everyone had a happy pride month regardless of the yearly discourse rising from the ashes
I'm still shocked that the sims team still hasn't update the flag splotches, like there is so many pride flags in real life. Especially the aroace flag and many others. So it would be a good idea for the sims team to update the splotches.. I don't tend to comment... sooo hi! And happy pride month! 🏳🌈🏳⚧
"anyway even tho i spent the whole time defending bi people, the bi bathroom was the worst" is literally the funniest thing you could've said😭 anyway i support bi women - sincerely, a lesbian, ily bi women
My experience as a fellow bisexual: I didn't even realise I was one for several years of my life for many reasons. 1. I thought it was normal to say stuff like "oh if I were a boy I'd totally date that girl" (heteronormativity); 2. I thought that being attracted to boys and to girls would be the exact same thing for me, which it isn't. I understood with time that most of the crushes I had for boys were caused by the desire to be wanted, accepted, seen. I craved validation but I didn't actually like that many guys. With girls it's always been different. 3. Internalised misogyny ruined my relationships with girls. There were times when I was attracted to someone, but it felt like envy. I couldn't stand certain girls because of how pretty they were and they intimidated me. 4. I actually thought that you have to fit in a strict criteria to consider yourself bisexual. No you don't. As long as you are attracted to more than one gender, you're good to go. You can have preferences. It's everything up to you and how you feel and identify. You don't have to prove anything to anyone. These are just some things that I'm glad I learned and unpacked. I hope I can help someone else. I'm bi and proud but still basically closeted. Don't ever let anyone tell you who you are. Live your truth!!!
FGG spitting some absolute facts! Also, i identify as bi for the exact same reason lol! I think LGBTQIA+ labels are very important and useful for exploration, finding out who you are, and learning how varied sexuality and gender are and can be, and are a good way to be able to quickly convey your general experience to someone. However, people can be so focused on labels and whether or not those are "valid," which has created a similar kind of judgment as what certain cishet people have for all of us. I feel like if we could come to the collective agreement that we don't have to understand or even know anything about someone's sexuality or gender in order to treat them just like everybody else, support them, and fight for their right to live freely, then things would get a lot better. Anyways, I love this build! The saving situation sucks, that sounded so stressful, but I'm glad we got this gorgeous garden, it's my favorite! Also, I'm trans and I GUFFAWED at the "maybe it's not the time for egg jokes.." Caught me so off guard lol. Happy pride!
In the past Ace people were a lot more discriminated against, even now in some countries it's basically compulsory to get married, especially for women and AFAB folks
Hell yeah, pride month rooms!! As a gay trans guy, it’s so nice to see representation in the sims!! Happy pride month everyone! And I love the blue mlm flag, it’s so pretty and nice for gay men and gay masculine people.
I'm aromantic, asexual, and trans. Thank you for this. Seeing supportive stuff online warms my broken, battered, heart. I can't come out to my parents or move out (still in college and looking for a job). I need all the support I can get.
as a lesbian , it really was a setup against gay men . the lesbian flag is pretty and called the " sunset flag " , then the people who made the gay men flag really didn't consider the design , so the name i see used most is the " toothpaste flag " . they really should've put more thought into designing it beyond " lesbian flag but blue for boys :) " because if they'd done so , it could've been a lot better .
I grew up religious. Even now, my parents still go to church, but they are one of the rare few who actually treat others according to how that person behaves, not the person's choice of love, or even lifestyle. I came out to my mom through my hair. I had it dyed 6 years ago, the color of the bi flag. When mom asked why I chose those colors, I told her it was because those are the colors of the bisexual flag. She said "are you saying that you're bisexual?" When I nodded, her response was, "I don't have to agree with something in order to love you and respect you. Quite honestly, when you were in 6th grade, your father and I talked about it. We both already knew you liked boys, but that was also when you started showing interest in girls. As long as you are happy and safe, that is all we care about" I'm now married to a pansexual man who I grew up with. Whenever I do my simself saves, I always put the bi and pan flags in our gaming room.
One of my favorite things to point out: if you're one of those people who's angry about there being a "pride month", then you're part of the reason why we still need a pride month.
This is such a beautiful build. I'm in a straight passing relationship even though I'm gay as hell. Everyone deserves to go to pride if they can. I'm Pan Pan Ace and I didn't know for a long time. Everyone should feel safe and loved enough to come out when they want. I never got that growing up but I hope these young ones can
As a bisexual person that is very much a ‘it’s the person I’m attracted to regardless of gender’ and has very much had the same am I bi or am I pan dilemma, I picked bi because I like the colours better 🩷💜💙 from what I’ve talked to other bi/pan people that seems to be the deciding factor for most of us
Pan ~is~ Bi, that’s why it can feel very interchangeable for bi/pan people like us. It’s basically the same experience, just using a new label to evade the harmful stereotypes and stigma assigned to bisexuals. It’s a rebranding, if you will. I wish more people realized it. While labels can be validating, remember they are just that: a label. Happy Pride Month! 🕺🩷💛🩵🪩💙💖💜💃
Being a trans masc gay and hearing you mention the actually gay (MLM) flag makes me really happy cause whenever I use it, a lot of people are really confused.
Youre so real for this rant. I'm not asexual but I can see people being told they "just haven't met the right person yet" or that they still better have kids and asexual has been used as an insult in the past. How do they deserve pride any less than us? How is that any different to lesbians being told they "haven't met a good man"?
I haven't seen any official organisations and stuff using the blue mlm flag you talked about but I've seen tons of (especially young people) using it in pins and t-shirts and stuff and also just owning the flag. The colours are so cool ngl
I LOVE this so much omggg! I really like the rainbow hallways, even though they're rainbow they don't look too garish and I can totally see myself chilling on those sofas. I am also a fan of the pan kitchen and the ace bedroom. I liked all the rooms but those were my faves.
Fun fact, the Bi flag isn't actually blue for boy pink for girls! The colour's originally came from the pink triangle used to mark gay men during WWII, said triangle then being used to represent homosexuality. This was then used with another triangle, a blue one representing heterosexuality, which overlapped the pink to create a small purple triangle representing bisexuality as a whole :) Also Lesbian originally meant a woman who liked women, even if they also liked men, so if you want, you can totally identify as a lesbian, or a pan lesbian, or whatever :) Respect good faith identities, ya know? Be who you are, there are better things to put anger towards than people's happiness. Be who you are :)
this video and what you talk about in it means a lot to me. this is the first year I get to celebrate pride month with my sister, since I was closeted and she didn't even know she was queer a year ago. pride month was supposed to be a positive and bring attention to everyone who can't be themselves, but instead it's been filled with so much unnecessary hate. I'm an ace lesbian and my sister is bi, since I made a post about us, people on the internet has been trying to make us hate eachother. this pride month, and quite a lot before it as well, the amount of bi- and lesbophobia within the community has upset me a lot. people act like my sister and I should hate eachother because of our sexualitys, and that is horrible. people want to act like most lesbians are biphobic and most bi women are lesbophobic, when in reality the majority of us support eachother. it's sad when the hateful people are the loudest. that's even without talking about the hate asexual and aromantic people, as well as people under the trans umbrella get. it's so unfair and unnecessary that people hate on eachother within the community instead of focusing on actual issues for queer people. there are so many lgbtqia+ people (many of us still kids), who struggle with mental illness, bullying and abuse because of the way we are. there are people who get killed, people who live their lives hiding and scared. the actual issues are so much bigger. laws, hatecrimes, su*cide and such things. we should've used this month to help the queer people who suffer instead of hating on eachother.
Gay law says you can decide based on the flag for the record! Also you can totally look up pride flag color meanings! The gay mlm flag is actually relatively new, it was only created in 2018.
imo, bisexual is just the umbrella term for any multi-sexuality (liking more than one gender). pansexual would fall under bisexual, but it’s more specifically “gender-blind” in its attraction i’m bisexual, and not pan. i have preferences in gender so that wouldn’t make me pan i find identifying as bisexual is just easier to communicate, but if i were to go into the micro labels, im omnisexual omnisexual refers to someone who is attracted to all genders but has preferences
I subbed up when your Ventrue condo build first popped up in my recommendations and it got me into the Sims 4 and the world of CC's (my girlfriend's never been happier). It would be a really cool idea to see your own VtM clan interpretations of everyone and a playthrough where they're forced into a Coterie to complete different tasks/challenges.
Honestly "I like the flag better" is as much a reason to go with pan vs bi as a multiply attracted person. Like, obviously people have deeply-held reasons for preferring one or the other for themselves, but also the experiences largely overlap and there are people who use more than one label interchangeably (I use both bi & queer, depending on the conversation it's coming up in).
2:00 - The houses on the sides getting extra windows on the sides: 😃 The house in the middle getting with just the front/back windows: 😔 3:23 - Here's how I understand it: If you are into 2 or more genders, you can call yourself Bi If you are into 3 or more genders, you can also call yourself Poly-oriented If you are into all genders, then you can also call yourself Omni If you are into all genders equally, then you can also call yourself Pan Of course this is kinda generalized/simplified in terms of both the definitions of these orientations and the concept of gender as a whole. 4:21 - It really depends on which variation of the Lesbian flag. The colours of the 7-striped flag by Tumblr user shapeshifter-of constellation, which is one of the most common Lesbian flags along with the 5-stripe simplification, was given these meanings by Tumblr user Sadlesbiandisaster: Dark Orange - Gender Non-Conformity Medium Orange - Independence Light Orange - Community White - Unique Relationships to Womanhood Light Magenta - Serenity and Peace Medium Magenta - Love and... _WooHoo_ (I doubt YT would let me use the actual word 😅) Dark Magenta - Femininity 4:29 - Michael Page, who created the commonly used Bi flag, gave these meanings for the colours: Magenta - Same-gender attraction Blue - Opposite-gender attraction Purple/Lavender - Attraction to "both" genders (this has since been reinterpreted as attraction to all genders)
I'm a gay man who identifies with the gay man flag (not to be confused with another mlm flag which isn't specifically gay) and it has always bugged me they don't have the flag in the game

4:27 the wanting a flag because it’s pretty is so real! You don’t even have to be in the LGBTQ to go to pride events, just go show support-
I may not be the biggest Sims fan, but I always love your videos. I love to use the ocean blue/toothpaste gay flag! It's on my pic even. Flag discourse is dumb terminally online behavior, there's way more important things to deal with. I totally agree with pinkwashing. It's textbook Rainbow Capitalism. It's better to support queer owned businesses and local businesses when youre able to. I love your builds and I wish I had the patience or inspiration to do Sims building like you. Love how you incorporated the colors each flag and it feels like a house for a sitcom with a bunch of friends from different parts of the community just living together and having adventures.
If you're able, I would love a genderfluid something next time! No pressure, but I quite enjoy the flag colors and it might be fun for you. Thanks! This was a great video and build.
I love the Lesbian and Ace rooms!(which are my flags!) Coincidentally the two rooms are like both of my aesthetics, so I thought that was cool! Happy late Pride, and I loved the build overall too!!

10:55 everything you’ve said. Yes. Thank you. Couldn’t agree more, please say it louder (also the time stamp is secondary, it goes for the entire video: THANK YOU!)
Gender and sexuality are fluid and change throughout one’s life. We as humans aren’t meant to be the same. We are ever changing and ever evolving. Also a Bi to Pan person who married a straight man. And it just means I always have someone to check out hot ‘chicks’ with. Im still the same. I loved the build as always great job.
This video really spoke to me, me discovering I was biromantic was a process. I identified as bisexual for so long before I realized I was biromantic. Great video 💜
I thought for almost a year that I was bi, but it didn’t seem to be me. I deep dived into all the flags until I found my people, Aroace, and I suddenly felt whole. You don’t have to label yourself as anything. It just grinds me the wrong way when people bitch and whine about how loud and annoying pride people can be and being like why can’t we just shut up about it you get a month enough, and it’s not. LGBTQIA dont have the same rights as others, we’re all human can’t we all get along? Side note: I love the whole house, not just the ace room.
I’m in the same situation as you with being bi, but feeling pan, but also whats the difference, but also AHHH and I’m glad that there is someone else on the internet who is having the same struggle as me, bc i thought i was pretty alone in feeling this so thank you for that. Also love love LOVE ur videos ❤
as an ace pan nb, everything about that kitchen section was so fucking valid, like people are so awful to people if they aren't 'fully gay' or 'fully trans' sometimes, and it's a really scary aspect of a community that is supposed to be accepting. Also, no way you actually made the pan colours work well together for once, maybe the pan-kitchen connection is real lol.
I (very idiotically and ignorantly) used to believe that asexuality wasnt valid specifically because they werent prosecuted to the same extent as the other sexualities. I just saw it as well, plenty of people go through life without being in romantic or sexual relationships and no one really cares too much but the reality is a lot more nuanced than that. Ace people are pressured by society to engage in romantic and sexual relationships, its not just "oh they dont want a relationship" its the fact that they physically CANNOT feel either romantic or sexual attraction or both and it doesn't just end there. Voicing their sexuality can often make it a lot worse as people will often think theres something mentally wrong with ace people and historically a lot of people who were most likely ace (though they most likely didn't even know that existed at the time) underwent horrible psycological treatment and were often even hospitalized for specifically not engaging with romantic or sexual advances. I mean what do people think happened to the many ace people who didnt want to marry back in the day? A LOT of them were ostracised from society because of that. So even the idea that ace people are less prosecuted isnt true. I do think a lot of the vitriol against sexualities like demi and ace is the fact that people see the lgbt community as a way for specifically marginalized groups to celebrate their sexualities that historically have been demonised and even made illegal for hundreds of years and they sort of see it as a "you have to earn it" sort of thing and they dont see those sexualities as something that was ever fought against, when in fact they were.
I just wanna let everyone know you don’t have to label yourself as anything. I don’t and it makes me feel so much better not having to worry about who I’m going to end up with. In the end fall in love with whoever you decide to because that’s your choice it shouldn’t matter their gender it only matters if you can be yourself and express your love for each other. 😊
Gay trans guy here, I love the MLM pride flag :3 I use it all the time, it’s so pretty and someone said it’s like gay men and lesbians have cool like friendship bracelets which I loved heheh. Also to me the rainbow/progressive flag more captures the whole community instead of just gay men and can also be used for people who are queer, or for those who don’t exactly know/want a specific sexuality/orientation but still feel a sense of community or attachment with the flag.
I just went to my first ever pride festival today ❤ I've been out for awhile, but it was so nice to be surrounded by so many people like me. Happy pride, everyone!! 🌈🌈
Happy pride!! also I have a suggestion woo, sometimes I do this thing where I have a teen raise two kids (most likely their siblings) and they have to keep all their needs as best as possible and gradute with all A's
I love how you made the lesbian room full of art stuff because, as a lesbian, I FUCKING LOVE ART. I'm not even kidding, I love art, forever and always. True art fan right here. :3
As a Hetromantiac Asexual, thank you !!!! I’d rather focus on the erosion and attacks towards the LGBTQIA+ community than stupid gatekeeping BS !!! Also the Ace room is awesome! I want that wallpaper !
I actually did research on the topic for my project where I turn Pride Flags into Magical Kids! The current lesbian flag is a combination of the Butch lesbian and Femme Lesbian flags, with a white stripe in the middle for those who are neither!
When I was younger I assumed I was bisexual (because back then i thought you could only be gay, lesbian, or bi), but as I got older and then eventually came out as nonbinary I vibed more with calling myself pansexual. 💗💛💙
I’m pansexual who identifies as bisexual just because when I growing up pansexuality wasn’t really a ‘thing’ if you know what I mean? So yeah, I’m attracted to the person, not their gender but I’m more comfortable using the bisexual identity just because it’s the one I’m more familiar with.
11:40 truth bc as a non binary person, I've identified as pan since 5th, but I don't even like men unless they look feminine, but still it's nothing, and bi just never seemed right either, and then lesbian sounds to girly when I'm not a girl. So recently I've started identifying as trixic, which means Nb loves women, which is what ive always felt... don't be ashamed to stick with something until u find the thing that fits u, it truly does help :)
I'm still trying to identify meanings of stuff in the community (as a Nonbinary lesbian who is currently still trying to find out gender identity), I didn't know what a trixic was before this comment
I'm glad you found something that represents you! For other people that might be in a similar situation, you also have Sapphic as an option, which just means attraction to women as a non-man (you can still like men and call yourself sapphic, it's not like lesbian).
The whole "ace people don't deserve/need pride because they don't face the same persecution" thing really chaps me because that's the aspect of my identity I've struggled with the most. Being panromantic? Fine, people can understand that. I've spent my entire life surrounded by people who experience that type of attraction and I just... don't understand it. How many ace people in the world have been pressured into acts they didn't want because it's "the thing people do"? How many times has that escalated to abuse or assault? We may not face jail time, but we still do face violence from people who don't understand us and there are countries where instances of "intimate" violence within the confines of a relationship are dismissed or ignored, even if it's illegal. And there are some where, when married, it's not illegal at all. I'm not saying all instances of spousal or partner "intimate" abuse are related to ace people, but I do know what it is like to spend a huge chunk of your life not understanding why you don't want these things and being pressured and even forced to do them because it's expected. Ace representation that was easily visible earlier in my life would have saved me so much heartache and pain. Finding out there were people like me, who experienced similar things I do, and through that finding the language to adequately explain my feelings and understand them was a huge revelation and I believe that's a huge part of what Pride is for. Also, our flag is just the best in my opinion. The most important eye shadow palette I'll ever need. Regarding bi women in "straight" relationships not belonging at pride - gross. Sorry, but statistics are not on the side of bi women having sapphic partners. There are a lot more men attracted to women than women attracted to women, so statistically bi women will be more likely to be in relationships with men. Also, same for bi men, but for some reason they don't get the same hate/mention. It feels like a way to erase sapphic attraction as lesser or more of a phase. If you're a bi woman who feels she shouldn't be at pride, just know that I'm a panromantic woman married to a woman so I balance you out and you should be there to represent my alternate universe self who ended up married to a dude.
As a bi and demismexual THANK YOU. That rant really cheered me up. Too many people in the community tried to tear me down over being bi and demi. Saying that they don't count or it's invalid. All kinds of things. Especially since I wear my demi flag openly all the time. Your rant made me smile. Thank you

This!!! Thank you ❤ from a fellow - label confused but fully aware of my orientation - bi, I agree with you ❤ let us not feel pressured into some label instead of just being who we are
I'm pansexual, but since it's kinda confusing to people, I usually say that I'm bi lol
it's easier to them to understand
@FakePeace oh wow for me the other way round. I get accused of being sexist when I say I am Bi.. like, hey what about Trans people or intersex people?!??!! Myeah one isn't allowed to their own preference anymore mppppfdf
@@jazzysugar3777 it's curious what are you saying, because I was called -not directly- transphobic for telling I'm pansexual lmaooo
In some circles I used to be, is very bad seen being "pansexual" since they argument that the bisexual manifest explains that being bisexual is (in simple words) being attracted to "your gender and the others genders", so the manifest encapsulates bisexuality is not just 2 genders, but many genders, including your own.
I say to people that are torn about it to look at more identities under bi like Omni.
As a pan person, the amount of times I’ve heard someone say they picked pan or bi because they weren’t sure and thought one was prettier than the other is so real so you do you! :)
I remember when I thought I was bi and then found the definition of pan and was like “oh this fits me more but the bi flag is so pretty :(((“ and then saw the pan flag and im like “oh it fits my personality too well haha”

aroace here! (also little rant sorry about that c:)
it pisses me off the NO END when people call straight aro people and straight ace people, not queer. asexual is a valid sexuality. aromantic is a valid romantic identity. you can be one without the other or you can be both or you can be neither. none of that makes you more or less queer than anyone else in the community. the a in lgbtqia+ stands for agender (which is also always forgotten about D: ) aromantic and asexual. not ally.
not part of the rant but the egg joke while making the trans garden was GORGEOUS
Also, my partner is pan.

the same kinda thing happens for us american queers in the south . so many queers in more progressive places act like those of us in conservative areas don't matter as much , or they say we should just move , and that's just not fair because we deserve to stay in our homes like everyone else . i hope they become less douchey about it in the future .
@@wompwomp4961ugh yeah, it always bothers me how people act like someone being from the south inherently makes them homophobic as if there aren't queer communities down there ://
it's like ppl don't realize that places with less queer rights actually have queer people in them and like, THEYRE the ones these laws are literally targeting lol
Thank you for being open and so real.
also love your bf's response to you discovering more about yourself, perfect cute response.
as an asexual lesbian, i recently discovered i'm valid. i've seen so much people say "lesbians are perverts who want to be touched by women" so i always thought i couldn't have been ace and a lesbian, so there has been so much self doubt in my teen years, i always felt like an imposter because i had so much internalized homophobia (esp growing up in an more christian blasian household) but the lgtbq+ community has always been so accepting and kind answering my somewhat stupid questions. my family is also trying their best to be supportive of me. happy pride month :)
I am glad you feel at home
it's funny, just this year i discovered that i'm aromantic.
Hey
Not aspec at all here but I’ve seen so many people fall down the same rabbit hole. It’s kind of interesting the amount of people that go from bi to aro.
@@peckneckanimations as someone who has been through that, i think its because of a lack of awareness on aromanticism, leading to many of us assuming that because we feel equally romantically attracted to all genders (that being barely, if any at all, attraction) it must be the same as actually feeling romantic attraction to multiple genders.
in pretty much the same boat lmao
that whole “well i have 0 attraction to them and 0 to them and 0=0 so therefore bi (in my case pan)” really gets you lol
plus like no one really have it a good explanation to what romantic attraction actually is/feels like
@@strwberry_mist yeah that makes a lot of sense!

3:58 bi means both in the sense of both your gender and not your gender, so you’re into your own gender whatever that might be and the others 👍🏼

As an aroace Catholic, I hope one day you'll find a place where you can be yourself :)

Bi flag lore:
In the Nazi camps, you had a pin (?) based on what you were, and if you were gay (same-sex attraction) you had a pink triangle so then they started using blue triangles for straights (opposite-sex attraction) so then they took both and meshed them together into the bisexual triangle (opposite and same-sex attraction) and then color picked it into the bi flag
That's suprising for them... They thought 'gay' was valid
"Maybe this is not the time for egg jokes" over the transgarden, BABE I DIED LAUGHING, TIME WELL SPENT, IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND I LOVE IT
It's really refreshing to hear a creator discount all the discourse surrounding pride month, because you're right!

My experience as a fellow bisexual:
I didn't even realise I was one for several years of my life for many reasons.
1. I thought it was normal to say stuff like "oh if I were a boy I'd totally date that girl" (heteronormativity);
OMG making "transition" (and trans) be a garden was so deep and beautiful! 😭 My dry eye also thanks you.

As a lesbian i always smile when i see people talking about how pretty it is
Big disagree, I love the colors.
as a lesbian , it really was a setup against gay men . the lesbian flag is pretty and called the " sunset flag " , then the people who made the gay men flag really didn't consider the design , so the name i see used most is the " toothpaste flag " . they really should've put more thought into designing it beyond " lesbian flag but blue for boys :) " because if they'd done so , it could've been a lot better .
Whenever I do my simself saves, I always put the bi and pan flags in our gaming room.
the lesbian flag room being a painting room is perfect

One of my favorite things to point out: if you're one of those people who's angry about there being a "pride month", then you're part of the reason why we still need a pride month.

As a bisexual person that is very much a ‘it’s the person I’m attracted to regardless of gender’ and has very much had the same am I bi or am I pan dilemma, I picked bi because I like the colours better 🩷💜💙 from what I’ve talked to other bi/pan people that seems to be the deciding factor for most of us
10:54 this room is literally perfect for me because I’m a lesbian and I LOVEEE art!!!

To anyone who isn't out or can't come out:I love you! I'm so proud of you!
And to anyone who IS OUT! I love you and I'm proud of you too!
This was then used with another triangle, a blue one representing heterosexuality, which overlapped the pink to create a small purple triangle representing bisexuality as a whole :)
Also Lesbian originally meant a woman who liked women, even if they also liked men, so if you want, you can totally identify as a lesbian, or a pan lesbian, or whatever :)
Respect good faith identities, ya know?
The gay mlm flag is actually relatively new, it was only created in 2018.
imo, bisexual is just the umbrella term for any multi-sexuality (liking more than one gender). pansexual would fall under bisexual, but it’s more specifically “gender-blind” in its attraction
i’m bisexual, and not pan. i have preferences in gender so that wouldn’t make me pan
i find identifying as bisexual is just easier to communicate, but if i were to go into the micro labels, im omnisexual
omnisexual refers to someone who is attracted to all genders but has preferences
Just got back from a pride parade dressed as princess peach, Ty fake gamer girl for the distraction from my heat exhaustion
Fun fact: Ottawa celebrates Pride month twice. The first is with everyone in June. The second is in August. That’s when our parade is.
I enjoyed the rant, and I still found it relaxing and a comfy mental space to be in, so thank you!
2:00 - The houses on the sides getting extra windows on the sides: 😃
The house in the middle getting with just the front/back windows: 😔
3:23 -
Here's how I understand it:
If you are into 2 or more genders, you can call yourself Bi
If you are into 3 or more genders, you can also call yourself Poly-oriented
If you are into all genders, then you can also call yourself Omni
If you are into all genders equally, then you can also call yourself Pan
Of course this is kinda generalized/simplified in terms of both the definitions of these orientations and the concept of gender as a whole.

It really depends on which variation of the Lesbian flag. The colours of the 7-striped flag by Tumblr user shapeshifter-of constellation, which is one of the most common Lesbian flags along with the 5-stripe simplification, was given these meanings by Tumblr user Sadlesbiandisaster:
Dark Orange - Gender Non-Conformity
Medium Orange - Independence
Light Orange - Community
White - Unique Relationships to Womanhood
Light Magenta - Serenity and Peace
Medium Magenta - Love and... _WooHoo_ (I doubt YT would let me use the actual word 😅)
Dark Magenta - Femininity
4:29 -
Michael Page, who created the commonly used Bi flag, gave these meanings for the colours:
Magenta - Same-gender attraction
Blue - Opposite-gender attraction
Purple/Lavender - Attraction to "both" genders (this has since been reinterpreted as attraction to all genders)
I'm a gay man who identifies with the gay man flag (not to be confused with another mlm flag which isn't specifically gay) and it has always bugged me they don't have the flag in the game
Gameplay ideas: a kindergarten run by Bean and Janine, Janine Rags to Riches BUT only whit crimes!!!, Janine riches to rags but you can only buy/spend money on illegal stuff; Or Bean owning a orphanage!
Personally, the acearo flag is the BEST. Like, it’s so pretty!! The orange and blue goes so well with the white
I love the ace room as an asexual
4:27 the wanting a flag because it’s pretty is so real! I don’t really connect with neptunic anymore bc I don’t have much regard for gender, id be leaning closer to Omni, but Omni doesn’t really fit either and the neptunic flag is so pretty… turns out I’m Labelflux and that’s why
9:48 my mom goes to pride events with me and she’s an ally? You don’t even have to be in the LGBTQ to go to pride events, just go show support-
I think that you can try the Tiny Town challenge (the one that James is doing) for gameplay videos, but with your characters, like Bean and Jeannine
*Gasp* it's a bi-throom!
(I don't see how so many people ignored this pun)
Now this is the pride content I’m looking for
I love the Lesbian and Ace rooms!(which are my flags!) Coincidentally the two rooms are like both of my aesthetics, so I thought that was cool! Happy late Pride, and I loved the build overall too!!
I LOVE IT TWO YEARS AGO I FOUND OUT I WAS BISEXUAL AND BEFORE I THOUGHT IT WAS A SIN TO BE IN LGABTQIA+ BECAUSE THAT WAS THE TYPE OF HOUSEHOLD I LIVED IN SO THANKS YOU HAPPY LATE PRIDE MONTH WE ALLL LOVE YOU KISSES HAVE A GOOD DAY/AFTERNOON/NIGHT BYEEE💖✨💅🥳🏳️🌈⚧️⚧️🏳️⚧️
10:55 everything you’ve said. Yes. Thank you. Couldn’t agree more, please say it louder
(also the time stamp is secondary, it goes for the entire video: THANK YOU!)
So glad to hear you talk about how being in a straight relationship makes others say that we're just faking it
As a lesbian, I feel what you are saying about the flag, it's so pretty
You apologised for ranting but honestly i would watch it just for the rant?? I'm new to this channel but i think I'm staying
WE GET A WHOLE GARDEN WOOO!!!
Also obsessed with the ace room that shit is so my aesthetic
i absolutely love this! the message is so good! i love tht she's just like be who you want, gay? nice! straight? nice! lol HAPPY PRIDE Y'ALL
Gender and sexuality are fluid and change throughout one’s life.
I LOVE THE LESBIAN PAINTER ROOM SO MUCH
I’m in the same situation as you with being bi, but feeling pan, but also whats the difference, but also AHHH and I’m glad that there is someone else on the internet who is having the same struggle as me, bc i thought i was pretty alone in feeling this so thank you for that.
Was leaving to go to my first Pride when you uploaded! So I’m watching it now!! HAPPY PRIDE EVERYONE 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏴☠️
I think its funny that, as an Asexual person, I DO get prosecuted... mostly just by the queer community tho for not being queer enough.
I actually really loved the rambling while watching the speed build video IT WAS SO FUN AND IMPORTANT TO TALK ABT
As a bi and demismexual THANK YOU. That rant really cheered me up. Too many people in the community tried to tear me down over being bi and demi. Saying that they don't count or it's invalid. All kinds of things. Especially since I wear my demi flag openly all the time. Your rant made me smile. Thank you
Happy Pride to those in the closet and out!!! 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
