Hi Jessie, I’d like to stop in as a real life snowboarder and snowboard instructor to decode this one for you: “gaper” is a term used for someone who is very novice in the sport and refers to “gaper gap” or a wide gap between the helmet and goggles showing the forehead. “Taco” refers to a wipeout or crash that causes your body to fold in half like a taco. To “stomp” means to ride really well and land tricks well. A “grom” refers to a young person who is enthusiastic about the sport and rides well. So essentially: “You’re prepared for the frost, now get hyped and feel the cold rush! No more inexperienced novice riders wiping out or crashing, this book is going to teach you to ride really well! You don’t have to be an enthusiastic youngster who rides well to learn to do tricks, now show them how it’s done!” is the translation for you, lol. On a related note, it is in fact hilarious that the skiing books are so dry and to the point. In the skiing/snowboarding industry, there are cliches that we like to joke about, and one of those cliches includes skiing and skiers being dry, proper, and all about the technique, which is why the ski books are this way. This is absolutely hilarious to me as someone in snowsports! Thanks for letting me share some fun facts about my own passion, if you couldn’t tell, snowboarding is one of my own special interests lol. Please keep sharing these really long videos, they are amazing! I love watching them a few times to soak up the info, and it’s so amazing hearing you be so passionate about your special interests! I love it, please never stop ❤

i NEED plumbella to release the cover images somewhere so i can put them on notebooks its just PERFECT
Omg THIS!
@@icedlemons3235 yas! AHHHHH
That would be sooooo goood as merch! I don't know if they would get in trouble with EA because of copyright tho. She made the covers, but not the texts
the amount of views on this video is CRIMINAL it should have at least 10 million the effort and care and detail is absolutely mind blowing and the author segment!!!!! jessie is literally revolutionary
The MAMMOTH effort, production and passion you are putting into your videos is just insane in the most amazing way. This is what I imagine when people say autism is a superpower. Top tier content!!
I just want to add as a New England skier, the name Boden Thriller is a reference to Bode Miller, and I think that is very clever. He's an olympic skier from the region for anyone wondering.
Please dont stop making long form kind of content, as an adhd person I do get a while to watch it all, but I am also a person who lives alone, so your video made me feel like I was having a conversation and made me feel less alone
16:53 Darlin' I think a 3 hour deep dive into sims 4 books is all the proof we need
Hello!
Pro-Pali here and your video randomly started playing while I was cleaning my house and I looked up at the screen and saw 🇵🇸 in your background!
I just wanna thank you, for your bold and unwavering support for Palestine! Don’t stop spreading the awareness for Palestine, seeing the 🇵🇸 in your background made me so happy I’m crying🥹🫶🏾
Jesse being my saving grace with this video right after my boyfriend broke up with me. No fix like hyperfixation ✨️
It’s called self-care 💅
i went through a breakup 7 months ago. sending all my love, it does get better❤
One door closed, many more are opening
This is my favourite type of video from you, Jesse. You very clearly thrive with big research projects and deep dives, and it shows. For a 3 hour video, I was engaged and interested the whole way through, which is something I normally struggle with.
I will always appreciate and admire the level of passion you put in to what you do. ❤
oh this is for the BOOK girlies i‘m so here for this
i’m 17 years old and my parents met on the sims online. and i will never be as knowledgeable about the sims as you are you are so inspiring
How gorgeous Jesse looks in the toddler section needs to be discussed. You NEED to wear hoops more often girl! ❤
i fell asleep with youtube playing on my laptop yesterday and opened my eyes to see this video playing and genuinely thought it was like a mirage because i was like no way my favourite youtuber has returned with another long video, i am SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS VIDEO AND YOU!!! thank you so much for everything
Just had one of the worst days with a very difficult medical appointment but Plumbella comes thru with a 3h video, my gratitude is actually unmeasurable rn
I’m an archaeologist and I think you’d make an excellent addition to the field!! Your tangent was incredible to hear haha I was not expecting an Alfred kidder quote in a plumbella video but I am so happy I did. I usually watch your content after work at the lab so it was a perfect intersection of my interests/work
okay, but the slicked back hair in the skills section is so gorgeous, like jesse was meant for librarian cosplay 😍
The fact she made book covers for every book is the level of dedication we should all strive for
I'm only 18 minutes in but I want a behind the scenes video of how you made those book covers because I am so impressed, they look so good!!
I am loving this long form content! I didn't even realize I needed a deep dive on the books in the Sims 4 but I am loving every minute of it! I also love how you made all of the covers in game! I can't wait to see what you do next!
@56:31 This is a reference to the show Red vs. Blue by Rooster teeth who made the Strangerhood. The first line of the show is is "Why are we here?" follwed by a deep mean then going "What? I meant why are we out here, in this cayon?"
Omg
never stop making long form videos like this you’re filling a niche in the sims community for unhinged deep dives
0:03 the definition of having HDHD and getting really into a topic and dedicating like 3 months to that one topic
What’s hdhd?
You mean ADHD?
I don’t think Jesse knows how much I will watch this while I work in my lab. Prev it was only the iceberg video now it’s this plethora❤
Amazing video!! I just want to add there's a reference to another EA game, SSX Tricky, in the snowboard skill books! SSX was a really fun snowboarding series by EA in the 2000s. There are references to it in earlier sims games also, iirc! Also, one of the Snowy Escape townies, Kaori Nishidake, is named after a character from the SSX games!
SO EXCITEDDDDD the insanely long Sims videos are SO cozy 🥹💖
ohohoh weird 2:12:08 all the authors on the Baking Books are affiliated with the Muppets? Bill Barretta and Frank Oz are both puppeteers; I don't remember who Barretta operated, but Frank Oz was Cookie Monster, Miss Piggy, and more. And The Swedish Chef is The Swedish Chef! A Muppet himself. I don't know if that makes the descriptions make more sense or not, though!
ugh gotta love a muppet reference! also bill barretta took over the swedish chef after jim henson's passing afaik, and the swedish chef used to be performed by jim and frank together
Frank Oz was Fozzie Bear and Yoda, too.
It’s truly beautiful that Vulfgang Mulder is for you what Waughin Jarth was for Brian in the Skyrim video
I've been tackling this video in chunks, about to hit the 2hr mark and I cannot get over the effort and work gone into this. Even before filming the video and being consistently funny for that period of time. Really outdone yourself here, hilarious stuff.
u seem happier💚
2:16:38 wacky daniel is refrencing crazy dave from plants vs zombies! 😊
i just finally scheduled an appointment to start transitioning and now this.... today IS my day
Awh congrats! 🎉
congratulations!!!!!!
Congrats!!
Congrats! Wishing you a smooth transition
Congrats and all the luck and best vibes for your journey ❤
Me still looking at brick swatches and playing with roofing:
“oh…. The three hour video is over..”
"i have two requirements: you have to be fictional and you have to be mr. darcy" SO REAL. the way i have a sims 4 save with aging off featuring my beautiful and wonderful polycule of morgyn ember, sebastian sdv, elliot sdv, and myself. main save i play tbh
i love your long form videos so much! the sims is a major hyperfixation for me and i've been into it my entire life and finding your channel a few years ago where you spoke so openly about how you've lived a similar one with having sims as a special interest made me so happy! you're actually part of the reason i started looking into an autism diagnosis funnily enough, i connected to the way your described yourself and other things so much that i figured something might be similar there lol. anyway, having your longer videos now to watch and rewatch while i work on things is so amazing! i love learning more about the sims and just enjoy hearing you talk about it and the little details there within tbh
my autism LOVES these long form videos!! i can’t imagine how much work it takes to make these but omg… they just make my brain so happy! i’ve literally been rewatching the iceberg video whenever i can’t fall asleep and it works wonders
Plumbella you have done it again, constantly raising the bar and doing it SO FLAWLESSLY
I think this is the right step for you in terms of content on this channel (do what you feel, make shorter gameplay content etc). But I feel you are really analytic and suited towards this long-form content and I personally love it! I've watched it with full attention, had it on as background etc and it's amazing.
WOW the sheer dedication needed to make those covers AND print them... only the most powerful of hyperfixations could do this!! looking forward to this video ❤
I LOVE long form content. I listen to them sometimes over the course of days if I can’t binge it immediately, but I really enjoy it and it lets me focus on just one thing ❤
OH MY GOD YOU GOT THIS OUT WAY QUICKER THAN I EXPECTED IM SO EXCITED
the autism jokes are rlly funny pls keep making them as u want
I... may have a comment on your referenced Skyrim video that I forgot I even made.... so I watched that again, too. :D
Well done on this vid. I love it.
Side note: mainlined your "the story/history of..." playlist yesterday. You never did do that Grunt family history. If you're of a mind, I'd love to hear it (also a simmer from way back, S1-2 start. As an adult. :D )
ETA: Frank Oz was a muppeteer (cf: Swedish Chef) and Dr Phil a well-known shyster.
It's kind of sad that the Sims 4 books have more lore than anything else in the game
I really love how you put in the extra work to design book covers. It’s very pleasing. I’m loving these long videos, too.
21:30 Did you know that the Never ending story is based on a book by German author Michael Ende, whos second name translates into "end"?
He wrote amazing childrens books that aimed to teach lessons about life.
i know this would be super different from your normal content, but if you ever wanted to vlog your Sunday ghost hunting with your auntie i would love to watch!! i used to go with my mom all the time in highschool and i find it so interesting! loved the vid btw💕
Loving these long form videos. FYI, Good night moon is a children’s book IRL too!
Edit: I can’t believe I forgot to mention how incredible your covers are! This is totally something I would do and my parents would call me crazy for it. But this was something we needed to see. I love all the effort you put in and I love how you used object and symbols in the sims 4 to make it happen. Seriously, ICONIC.
"...Unconventional uses for household objects..." and then the EA games challenge everything 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 That has probably made me laugh much more than it should of done.
41:44 I was so taken aback by hearing anything Riddick related because my husband has made me sit through these movies. Vin Diesel is my mortal enemy bc of those movies
My condolences
i really appreciate how little ads there are in here, i’m an hour in and i haven’t run into one once!! im gonna fall asleep to this every night ^.^
Long-form-Bella is back!! So excited omg
„American Plumbella can’t hurt you, she doesn’t exist“
American Plumbella: 00:37:20
Total Dark is a reference to the first moive in the Riddick series staring Vin Desel
Pitch Black. Great movie. From what I remember. I haven’t seen it in years.
This is the most brilliant and astonishing thing I have ever listened to on RUclips! Jesse you are so lovely, so clever and so funny! I can’t even count the number of times I laughed out loud, let alone the number of times that I started to cry through my laughter. Thank you for these long videos! I listen to them over and over again because they are magnificent! 👏🏻👏🏻💛💛😂😂
I can’t sit and watch a long movie but I can watch a 3 hour sims lore video
THIS. IS. AMAZING.
Also - I haven't watched youtube in a while - your hair is gorgeous! You do the pastel vibe really well!
OH MY GOD GIRLIE YESSSSSSSSS GRABBING THE POPCORN
I love books even more now! Loving these longer videos ❤ so nice to sit down and have a full evening of your videos. Your pink hair looks amazing! 💕
I got *so* excited when I saw this was posted, I went “OH FUCK OFF?!?!” and then had to immediately reassure my toddler to make sure she knew I wasn’t talking to her 🤦🏻♀️😂😂😂😂
Hi Jessie, I’d like to stop in as a real life snowboarder and snowboard instructor to decode this one for you: “gaper” is a term used for someone who is very novice in the sport and refers to “gaper gap” or a wide gap between the helmet and goggles showing the forehead.
I saw my sister in law watching desperate housewives and it is CRAZY lol. There are definitely some parts you rightfully wouldn't like but overall I think you'd live for the drama and the chaos as it goes on. Also blessing us with this long form video so soon after the iceberg??? you are BLESSING US, HONEY!
These are my fav type of videos! They bring me so much joy and comfort, I would love if you could make one for the movies in the sims 4 (like maybe making up a plot for them or making a poster). Love you lotss❤️
the palestine flag in the bg
wait it's christmas already? because a long plumbella video was definitely on my list
I LOVE your long form content! It's like a treasure trove, feels great to watch an amazing video without having to worry about finding a different one for a while.
These videos are so in-depth and detailed, I adore 'em!
This came up in my feed 29 seconds after it was posted. I was meant to watch this.
