The football bedroom is literally exactly what my brother’s bedroom looked like when he was growing up😂😂 also you are so real for saying you pretend to like football when it’s the Euros or World Cup I am exactly the same hahaha

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for
14:40 Omg there's a lil bungalow near me up for sale, and the decor is sooooo like 70s/80s. Like it's a proper little old lady's house. Patterned wallpaper, curtains, and carpets in every room, including the bathroom! Like just *peak* 1970s British home. I love looking on real estate websites, and seeing the different styles people go for, and sometimes just taking the absolute mick out of the decorating. Or like... imagining what I'd do to the house to make it fit my style. Like "Oh no. I'm absolutely taking those carpets out, and refinishing the floors or laying new ones. That kitchen is far too tiny. Definitely needs an extension. Oh I'd make that my office, that's my bedroom. Ohhhhhh, do I like that colour for the spare room?" Like just going full home makeover show in my head hahaha.
I live in a lil red brick terrace of railway workers houses (complete with outdoor loo, and coal shed!) and this is soooo accurate! Except here they covered up the pretty red brick with crap foam render! And painted it like orangey peach? So yucky. My Mum used to live in this house in the 80s/90s, and there were allotments down the hill, coz we don't have much garden space. But now the trees and shrubs have grown so much that you can't even see the river! So sad! It'd be so pretty, but it's just not coz the council don't even care! ☹️

I just wanted to share that the clutter is wonderfully realistic. I’m 56, have 4 grown children and 17 grandchildren and just absolutely amazing! Thank you for representing LIFE as we live it in the Sims! #MyMichelet on Gallery. I play on Xbox but prefer building on PC!
Great build, I always struggle to recreate my terrace house because it's so small! I need to learn how to size stuff down and add more clutter. Can I ask why you keep putting lamps and milkshakes on surfaces then deleting them?
Can't wait to download and move in all my neighbours with their back stories that match the interior. Thinking the elderly couple might be the landlords for the rest of the houses on the lot and maybe their daughter now lives with her boys in the football family house. And her best mate who ended up going to uni and getting a good job lives on the end terrace with her husband who is a chef so they host the best dinner parties. Then there are some slobbish socially awkward tenants with an aggressive dog in the middle lot that the other neighbours tend to avoid 🤣
Fellow UK resident here. Had this on in the background for tips and inspo as I was making my own version (building out of slate-coloured stone in Forgotten Hollow; going to rebuild everything so it looks like the Lake District sort of 😆). Just looking at the map, the level of Instant Britishness it gave off was insane 🤣.
i always love watching these videos of rebuilding british houses in the sims, they're always so oddly comforting and nostalgic to me haha!! and they're recreated so beautifully
also: crystal palace is a football club that play in blue and red, but i also know plenty of brits who support barcelona!!

Looks great, the only thing I think was an oversight is the archway that goes from the front garden to the back garden. Usually this is not in some ones garden but actually between the two central houses so both can access their gardens without going through their house. As it stands the central house without the archway would have a gate into the end of terrace houses garden and would be given right of access to walk through their neighbours garden to access theirs. But still looks amazing 😊

The decals are so cute! I’m from the UK and often pass houses that still have rainbows in them, that have faded from the sunlight over the last four years 🥺
🙏🏻Glad you let us know about envelope wall shelf bug, so we don't go through same thing; Recently had similar issue, tried to figure out why we're being blocked from something; should share it too in case it helps someone: made small home, tight & cluttered, on foundation with stairs, & couldn't place a kitten down in house, kept trying over 20 mins, but she kept going in with kitten, walking back out & places kitten outside.~ Turns out you need a 6 floor tile rectangle empty space in house or can't set kitten down inside😮💨. Just like vacuums, if I don't have that 6 tiles rectangle clear space somewhere in house, sim won't vacuum & walks outside. You'd think they'd at least shorten this rule to at least 4 tiles after giving us tiny homes dlc. 😮💨sims..

'Since they built it in the 1980's or sumfing? Try the 1920's. These terraces houses go back over 100 years.
No, she said, "Like they haven't decorated since they bought it in the 1980s." Not built; BOUGHT. I'm pretty sure that old couple didn't buy their house in the 1920s.

This is so accurate it's brilliant! I don't play The Sims but I've figured out why you place table items away from the table (to get free movement), however I can't figure out why you place water bottles in some places. On the TV cabinet, or the fireplace, for example. Is this to check the scale of things?

I worked for a lot of old people in the uk as a cleaner or carer, and unfortunatelly a lot of them do not have tiles in their bathrooms... they have carpets.... its true

21:35 i had the same issue with the coat hanger from Snowy Escape. I found that if you place any 3d wall item onto a single tile staircase, your sims refuse to go up and down. Very strange 🧐

you should try out Fallout 4 solely for its settlement building aspect.
i recently built a tower block of flats for my settlers to live in and I can't believe i never tried that before considering i live all around tower blocks of flats

This is AMAZING! Would love some more London-y terraced houses, particularly here in North London! Likewise maybe some posher townhouses mixed with some like council estates. Or some flats above shops on a highstreet or something. But regardless this build is AWESOME! and SOOOO realistic!

28:15 I once actually accidentally killed my child sim by fire, because I locked the only door to the upstairs (a hidden bookcase door) and the firefighters couldn’t get upstairs to douse the fire. It took me so long to figure out what I’d done, because the fire brigade HAD in fact shown up, but they were chillin downstairs., reading all my child’s books. After my sim died, one of the firefighters decided to chat about the book with Grim. It was a sad, sad day.
Don’t forget the random rocks that are out of people gardens. It’s down my street it’s all clean till one house just has 200 rocks not in their yard, I’m always tripping. The rest is such a compliment for me and my British people.😅
Hello! I do wanna know how'd u get those debug tiny items, such as pens, notebooks etc, I know its the debug cheat but they won't show up in my build catalog at all, so I was just wondering what cheats do you use for such small usable items ur sims uses for stuff.

All I have to do is copy and paste your save file and just take everything you want and make it mine. I just don't know how to do any of it so it might be a while before you get your PC back

I tried to build the same kinda thing the other day but with all the houses painted different colours like the seaside... It did not work as I only have a few kits. Also, that end house looks so much like my boyfriends nans house 😂😂
