You said you didnt want run down wallpapers that were put up in the 1970’s, but the buildings exterior actually look exactly like the mass architecture boom in eastern asia in the late 1960s and 1970s 😭. LOVE this build though!!!

Fitting all of that on a 30x20 is insane is really impressive. All of the detail makes it not only build in but also feel like you took it right off a street in a real life city.
You are my favorite builder, but TBH, my actual favorite thing is hearing, "see, I was thinking..." cause the stories are also so good ❤

You're legit one of the best builders out there! I imagine that the grandma Sim lost her husband and had to sell her home and move into an apartment since the house was just too much upkeep for her. But her grandkid keeps her company while they go to a better school in the "city." I'd love to see what the grandma's house looked like before her husband past. There's a Nostalgia Living cc pack that would be PERFECT for an "old lady" build.

As an ex employee of a retirement home, Margaret is a VERY accurate name for elderly ladies. We had at least 2 on each floor. We called them The Margaret’s.

Live in Japan, you nailed the exterior look. Honestly from an outside perspective it looks way cooler but after the millionth subway tile apartment building (apato or mansion) my eyes CRAVE something more original lmfao always get excited now when I see something different or a new take on the same old same old!

This was just, so satisfying to watch and listen to. I don't usually find myself a big enjoyer of sims speedbuilds, but this was just, so nice? The story? The rapid fire yet still calming commentary? The badass build?? Got me downloading Sims 4 for the first time in like a year! Great stuff!
i absolutely adore the level of detailing in all your builds. i've found myself going back to watch the zombie apocalypse base a few times. they all have so much story to them, and it makes them really come to life.

oh also Jessica, I've used stools under my desk for years. For the last 6 years I've had the GAMLEHULT rattan footstool under my desk. I put a blanket or pillow over it because it's not great directly on the skin but it's the perfect size/height for me and it looks gorgeous lol

Amazing builder. I’ve binged your videos for the last two weeks. If you do a 5/6 year anniversary video I’d love you to go back to one of your first videos and build the same building again but in your current style/ with all the packs you have now or cc! It would be fun to see how you would build one of your old builds now!
I usually am not all that into the storyline that people envision for their builds but these sims ideas are super inspiring to me and i will download your lot and make these sims to live in it! I would change it to an oasis spring or del sol lot and adapt the mt komorebi aspects. I already have Mt Komorebi filled in a specific style with lots of single sims or small homes and I feel like the exterior you made would fit perfectly in those 2 worlds. Also love that this is a pretty long video, I get to play it in the second monitor while I create in the sims lol

A great alternative to that Discover University one is one of the doors from City Living- the main swatch doesn't show it but there are 4 swatches- all in the same wood tone- that have different simlish numbering on them so it looks like they have unit #'s on them! :)

i wish we could build community lots with multiple purposes similarly to the for rent system of making different apartments, except instead of making the rooms part of different apartments, but rather one is a cafe the other is a restaurant etc and has the same functions as they normally would as normal lots.

A like to think that the maintenance guy was recently hired and he found the apartment in that condition but he is just a student trying to pay the bills and that’s the reason why he has the new computer, he also plans to renovate the space and has a crush in one of the girls
How do I manage to get the debug items in their relevant category like, bins with bins, plants with plants, etc? I am not finding any guide for this :(
