- I know you've all been bugging me to see the cantina in my 12th Century fortress in Tuscany. It's the final renovation of my beautiful home and it draws on everything I've learned from living in Italy for 25 years.
To celebrate, I'm releasing this full house tour of La Fortezza. You'll get to see my own private quarters, as well as all the guest accommodation, work areas such as the studio and commercial kitchen, and stunning grounds (including a working vineyard!)

Wonderful renovation in keeping with the old vernacular without sterile modernization. Ive been all around Italy and seen so many renovations, but they dont always resolve as authentic. Love it all, your rustic kitchen with the marble sinks and rose garden, your sense of style Love that sofa!!

I loved watching you show your home, I love how everything had a story. Your house is lovely and the video was very entertaining. The very first video of yours that I watched was of you touring a home that you didn’t particularly like, and I thought oh my gosh who is this lady she is being so mean and negative to this poor realtor…. you really hated the home. @AnnetteJosephstyle I will most definitely be back! Have you ever been to Treviso, btw? This mini-Venice stole my heart with its crystal clear, flowing canals teeming with plant and animal life, Lucca-esque city walls, vibrant bike culture reminiscent of Amsterdam, and gorgeous, verdant parks, bike and pedestrian paths surrounding the old city center. I definitely recommend a visit if you've never been there while in the vicinity of Venice! This is where I've set my sights on living when I make my planned move to Italy in a couple of years.

Thanks for the full tour, it was nice to see it all in one place! Cantina: ikea bathroom looks great, ya know that's the finest style you can reliably find on a budget, no doubt! I did notice the cantina is missing a Lacanche of its own. Cantina looks really great overall. Seeing this much tour does give me more questions i'd like to know about...there's an idea, how about one of your videos that is a Q&A with you? Folks could submit in questions for you to pick some to cover. Ciao

Your pool should have been a living pond with a small waterfall( for ambience ) and a respectable area to take a dip in it ;)

Your house is more or less identical to mine except houses were built later on either side to make a terrace. The house was rebuilt in 1370 and has much earlier foundations.

Is the exposed wiring for a logistical and cost purpose to avoid having to tunnel out and embeds the wires into the walls?
Both actually, I love the exterior wiring and the vintage outlets and switches. It does prevent digging into the walls as well. Thanks for asking and thanks for watching. x
What's with the red refrigerators in Italy?
This is the 2nd time 2 weeks that I've seen red refrigerators.
We just bought a house in Tuscany and the previous owner gifted us their red refrigerator.❤

One could take an old cabinet like that and cut the front off the just use the front whole as doors for a closet. then its the proper depth too. Ive done this several times building tv cabinets for people, back when we were doing that for deep picture tubes.
The bust is very cool , what are the odds? you can say you're a collector, the value of the pieces means nothing except to you. my wife collects cheap jewelry. not tacky cheap just inexpensive. she loves a compliment of a piece that cost her s couple bucks. I'm almost sorry I watched this. 'your house is everything I want. Can you find me one? I'll need that view though. you can be my decorator. you only did a few things I wouldn't have ,but once I actually saw them I'm okay with them now. I also bought your book today.
