It is truly beautiful, a wonderfully renovated home with their own added touches (cheers to the fly screens!) in just the right way. And the outdoor areas, oh my! Truly paradise. Sublime is definitely the word, both the garden and the house. What makes it for me and "pulls" everything together is the beautiful green paint used on all the windows. Enjoyed every minute of this one.

Nick I want to tell you that I come to your channel for an escape and refuge. My beautiful Italian Momma is in hospice and when I leave her at the home I am wrecked. What you do not only gives me hope that I WILL buy my home in Italy soon but helps me collect my self. Thank you. So far Mimi and Michael’s place is my favorite. It is Bellisima! Absolutely amazing. The house and the gardens are a dream. The kitchen is perfect for me a retired chef. I loved the little table with the pasta machine attached. It's waiting for me. Tell them I can come and cook if they want. They did a beautiful job, everything done perfectly. Thanks Nick for going back to see what work they did. And thank the owners for allowing us to see it. We had a ranch and vineyard in Sonoma county, California. Our house didn’t have air conditioning either. It got quite cool at night and warmed up during the day. I think the warmest month was Nov.

Thankyou Mimi, Michael and Nick for sharing a truly well loved and naturally beautiful home. We take solace from many of the properties shown in (Nicks) inimitable style and as we restore a very neglected olive farm, land but now a thankfully less neglected traditional farmhouse in Marche, we still toil away, but slowly and over the last ten years. Sometimes failing but mostly succeeding, but as we all know it takes time. Im sure it keeps us all fit and sharper but I know our respective ethos is similar, but also excitingly varied.
Understandably few share intandemness with our own efforts, aims and aspirations which though more modest than yours gives us real dynamism to keep striving as we slowly make progress in a related style that we hope to sharpen a little more in line with your own. You have taken something wonderful and still added magic, the garden is truly a sensation and elegant in its dovetailing with the house which is just perfect.
The wonderful portraits triggered an instant reminder, with a mental overlay of the original viewing and how well executed and kindly a process you've followed to have those style waypoints flow, that brilliantly add depth to what was there, but having fun in the process as we all do too..
How lucky we all are to find these things and be given an eye to see from the past into the present..

Yes, Outstanding. As a professional gardener I was particularly surprised to see the gardens looking so lush. A very nice set up they have made for themselves.
OH! I remember this house, really one of my favorites! They've done a beautiful job adding their own taste and story to this property! I particularly remember that upstairs livingroom, it's so great to come back later and see and hear about what they've done and discovered about thr place. That new garden is adds loads of value for everyday living, and it's quite amazing how things grow in such a short frame of time!
This house was fabulous last time, and even better now with the vegetable garden and pergola.
I'm alwaus saying there's so much you can do with textiles, this is a really good example of that! Good quality furnishings are worth dressing up to your own style, it changes the entire look, and is sustainable, smart thinking.

A real cozy,homely,tastefully decorated ( taking advantage of what was already there) property & introducing a few changes& modifications,( here&there) which compliment the Italian culture & History!..Wonderful place to live& that scenery is breathtaking!

Exterior and interior are just so so so beautiful, breathtaking , paradise on earth! So Incredible what they've done with the garden, very talented people ! What a tasteful and very personal arty interior decoration i love everything..i don't know how expensive it was to purchase it and how "done" before they 've put their personal touch .. bt it's an incredible place , beautiful and peaceful . I love the portraits and mix of colors and pattern in the living room so much as well as the green shutter etc.. .. almost cried as i have worked so hard and will never be able to afford a dream place like this one ..but then one can be clever and find a gem and do it up but it's difficult to do everything alone when one is alone and a woman .. i would never leave my home if this one was mine.
So kind of them to show their house.
