Congratulations you guys on your new house and your marriage! Your new home is looking great and I'm so envious! I'm much further along my life's path and I don't think I'll be moving too far from my present home in South Gloucestershire. But I'm so happy for you!
Such a delight. And you 3 part time living in such an exotic location - is as good as any travel vid. You'll take us to the most unusual places in that whole area and bring us on your always unique adventures ✅👍
Congrats guys on all the wonderful things on your horizon! Looking forward to your sharing some of those with us and seeing where life takes the Beans next. Hugs, Jules ❤
Just watched the latest and it does look great. I have a 2 year old grandson who I take into Central London every Friday and he wears some reins when we go out. He LOVES them as it means he has a degree of freedom whilst remaining SAFE. I would recommend to everyone and it would really help you with Noah when in busy areas.
I am 73, my mother birthed 3 before me. She had me in a harness frequently and I lived! I don't remember of course. We lived in Hawaii and took cruise ships to and from the mainland US, that's where the harness came in very handy, it's a big ocean out there!
I was going to suggest reins too. So few people seem to use them but it’s a great way to let little ones walk whilst knowing they can’t run off into danger.
I use reins or restraints, as we sometimes call them, in the US. I have the restraints that connect us at our wrists and give him about 8 feet of pull. He is 5 and I will use them for a few more years. His safety is the most important thing.
So delighted that you chose Sicily!! Thanks to Sara and Luca for their guidance. And congrats on your upcoming marriage. It’s a good thing! As Noah would say, WOW❤
Congrats Beans! I’ve been to Italy 4x (from the U.S.), the last two trips were road trips (first through Tuscany and then from Milan to the Dolomites) with my 3 young kids! Italy is a wonderfully family-friendly country! First trip to Sicily was over a decade ago and I’m dying to get back there! (And do some house hunting!) Wishing you all the best in your new adventure!
Welcome to Italy! I’ve been here over 30 years… so many pros and cons, beautiful places to visit lots of culture but just be careful not to fall into any bureaucratic traps and don’t trust everyone’s word! Try the beaches along the Adriatic coast and you’ll understand “ crowded”! Sicily is beautiful . Glad you both made the choice not to isolate yourselves in nature… ( with reference to some other house viewings !)
Hi very difficult to reply to your question as it depends what region you are moving to, if you're going to be working, if Italy will be a " second" home etc etc. Laws change quite frequently and it's up to you to keep yourself informed and up to date... especially regarding building permission. It's definitely a case of " who you know" !!! Documents for everything and all need to be paid for. Get a receipt for medical visits and dentist as you may be asked to pay " under the table"! Check out your area for mosquitos...we can't spend ANY time in the garden from May to late September! Summers are also getting very very hot and Sicily suffering great droughts. Hope I haven't dampened your enthusiasm!!😂... But what you see on TV and the Web doesn't seem to point out negatives. Learn Italian because if you're not in a tourist area you'll need it, you CANNOT GUARANTEE an English speaker in offices. Anyway some food for thought! @@wernerhoffmann6385
Congratulations...and what great news. I have fallen in love with Sicily, watching Luca, Sara and Luce every week...their beautiful 1 Euro house and their olive Grove. I can't wait to see your house. Live your channel as well.
Totally agree - I had reins for my daughter and it doesn’t stop them from being independent, it just keeps you as the parent in total control of where they are xx
I jumped on to say that too. They encourage exploration but safely and as much as one might prefer complete freedom, modern streets are not safe for a toddler to be free.
Being swedish myself and of course loving Sweden, I still do understand why you didn't choose to buy a house here. We also love Italy and visit every year. I recommend you to try and learn a little italian. It can go a long way to make friends, being able to communicate in their native language. Wish you the best!
I'm very glad I had the chance to learn Swedish years ago when working there. The last few years I learned Italian. These two languages sound beautiful! To my french ear.
Why would anyone choose to live in Sweden these days.?.Not just the Awful Cold Weather..but your massive Crime from immigrant Mafia..with bombs etc..all it took was 20 years for Sweden to be Fkd..🥀
I’m not really a kid person. I’m not an evil witch or anything I’m just very selective. That said I can appreciate the cuteness overload. Watching Noah grow has become one of my favorite things on the channel and hearing his excitement over the ocean was really cool. “Wow!” will be stuck in my head for a day or two for sure. Congrats on the new house and the upcoming wedding! Much love to the Beans! 🤟🏽

Congratulations! What a fantastic decision. We are Swedes who are going to Sicily, in a week for exactly the same matter! All tips are gratefully received and we will follow your journey…

Congratulations to the Bean family! My father was born in Sicily, and so although I haven't been there yet, part of my heart is there. I'm thrilled for you all! Enjoy this adventure and many blessings to you!
Yay that you are buying in Sicily! Congrats on new house and upcoming wedding. Would love to see you exploring around Sicily, and hope for more joint videos with Sara, Luca, and Luce!!!

one of the reasons i began watching you guys 5 or so years ago was because i missed my italian holidays (my long term partner is italian and we visit each year) watching your travels really soothed my scottish rain induced woes. now you have a house in Sicily... i am over joyed (for you) and selfishly for myself!!! congratulations! Noah got it right, "WOW!" indeed! x much love
Wondered why we haven't seen you recently. What a surprise, new home. Not been to Sicily, but Italy is my dream destination. 🎉 Looking forward to accompanying you on your staycation.😋
I am so happy for you. I am excited for whatever comes next. It does not matter to me if you post exploring Italy, your day to day life, or travel videos. I am all in. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us.
Hi get your a baby a backpack with a leash attached. They come in cute animal backpacks, my sons was a stuffed monkey and it saved his life and my sanity more times than I can count. The leash aspect gives them a little bit of room to move and they feel independent because you aren’t physically holding them, but they can’t run away. I know it sounds strange, but my son and I both loved his.
You need something like a toddler harness with leash. I had one with all three of my kids and it was a literal life saver for my son. He almost plunged off a cliff and without that harness he very easily could have. He was the type of toddler that refused to hold my hands when walking. He was able to tolerate the harness. I love all your videos.
I can remember my younger brothers harness. It was leather with bells on the front. Lined with felt,it was something a child would like to wear "beautiful "
Noah has to be the sweetest, cutest toddler ever ! And this coming from a grumpy 55 year old who is not a fan of toddlers ! But for Noah I make the biggest of exceptions - he is a credit to you both ! Please show more of Siciliy - looks like a fascinating place (White Lotus film locations would be a bonus - best series ever !) Good luck with everything....
When I was a baby in Sweden many years ago ,my movements were sort of under control by a baby/harness. It was very similar to the ones I see parents use today They make the parents’ lives easier and there seems to be more of them around 😊😊😊😊
Don’t be shy about using a tether on your child! They feel so much freer and don’t have to keep their arms up to hold hands with an adult! I had twins and was also worried about distractions in public! ❤
The land of my ancestors! ❤ You’re a half hour from the town where my Italian family lives. It’s absolutely gorgeous but the best feature is the lovely people. Hope to visit again one day but in the meantime I’ll live vicariously through the Beans! Congratulations on your new home and upcoming nuptials! 😊
congrats guys! I started watching your videos from LEAW. I visited Italy in earlier this year and I fell in love with the way of life there! I can't wait to follow your journey throughout this process. Best wishes!🤍
YEA!!! so happy for you!! and you can visit with Sara, Luca and Luce. Two of my favorite families! Can't wait for upcoming content, and CONGRATULATIONS 🍾🥂
Congratulations. I love Sicily. When I saw you on Sara and Luca’s channel looking at properties in Sicily, I was rooting for you to choose Sicily. I’m teaching Italian on my channel in a more easy and natural way to learn, mimicking how we learn as children. I’m using storytelling so you basically just listen repetitively to the story (it’s all dialogue) and then when you are more comfortable with the language, lip-sync with the Italian, then start speaking. You’ll notice a lot of different muscles are used, which is another reason lip-syncing helps, it builds up the muscles.
Hi Beans. A suggestion for Noah. When my boys were the same age and just as active. I had a harass that worked perfectly when out exploring. If you get one, put it on backward so it closes in the back. Hope it helps. 😊
Haven't even watched the video yet, but had to jump on to say how happy I was to see the thumbnail because I have been looking for a post from you guys for weeks now. OK, now to watch - and learn all about your exciting new venture. Correction: ventures! Wow! Kind of buried the real lead until the end of the video. Congrats on the house - and on your upcoming nuptials!
Congratulations! Sounds like you made a great choice. I can’t wait to follow along and I’m thrilled to see that the Beans are back! I lived in Rome with my parents when I was Noah’s age. We came from California where I was accustomed to a lot of space and freedom. My mom ended up getting me a little harness. I know many people hate these but it gave me so much more freedom and kept me safe in the busy Italian towns. My parents could enjoy sight seeing and cafe life and I could move around a bit and explore. I also had a little tricycle that they attached a belt to and pulled me along while I peddled a bit. I hear it worked well. Good luck!
When my kids were young we used reins and though frowned upon now they were so handy. The child had some freedom but always safe.Congratulations on your new home hope the transaction is straightforward.Looking forward to seeing it soon. What an exciting few months you will have a wedding and new home😊Good luck.
Congratulations guys , always a fun blog. In February we stayed in Cefalu for 4 nights on our way to Campobello di Mazara. My Husbands grand parents birthplace . What a sweet town . NO tourists. Beautiful walked on the beach for a long wander and no one there . What an adventure and also follow the folk who are helping you fulfill this dream ….
Please!! Riddle us with videos of the move...of any reno you do, tours around Sicily and also visits to the incredible markets to make your place a home. I'm here for ALL the things. Gosh this is so exciting and to think you will be visiting Sara ,Luca and Luce. I do hope I spelled their names correctly. This is gunna be a blast!
Something about Noah's childlike wonder (WOW!) brings tears to my eyes. I think I'm feeling nostalgic about those childhood days of mine that were so full of that kind of wonder. Anyway, congragulations!
Some might frown upon it but there is nothing wrong with those cute little backpack kid leashes. Our kids loved them and we went all over with them. We’d have never made it through Disney with a three year old without it.
OMG.. I lived in Sicily for 2 1/2 years. You will love it. Your right, they love the kids, the food amazing etc, etc....We lived in San Pietro Clarenza... Congratulations a wedding💕
Yeah so glad to see you guys. Btw might try one of those leash things for child to walk . Helps child from wandering off too far. I know people frown see this item on child but it helps with worrying about lost child or chasing a kid.
Cefalu was originally the "place in the country" for those who reside in Palermo. But of course, no one can keep a secret about a good thing. My family has had a home in the hills just above Cefalu for well over 40yrs now.
Congratulations on your home purchase! My 18-month-old grandson saw the ocean and the beach for the first time about one week ago and the first thing he said was "Wow!" Our son took a video of him.
Hi sweet beanies 👋 as I lived my childhood in Italy, I can tell you, that for the italians kids are the most important in their lives and they will take care extremly about them - I me myself couldnt write this since two times as a child ran on to the street with passing cars and everyone saw me and safed my life - so you can count on them, even it becomes dangerous.
I'm so happy for all three of you. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and can't wait to see you new home. Sure do love little Noah saying 'wow' when he see's the ocean. So sweet.
Noah has reached what I call racoon age... fast, curious, wants to get into absolutely everything (and actually can!), and more than a bit wild. It's a terrific age and also keeps you on your toes! Congrats on the new property!
Congratulations! Your series through Italy a few years ago inspired us and last year we bought a house in Puglia, about 20 min from Lecce. Beautiful and definitely more affordable than the UK where buying a house was out of our budget.
Ohhh Wow Congratulations! How wonderful for your little family. There is something very special about Italy and their beautiful people! So excited to see your new home! xx
My Grandmother was from Cefalù. I've actually been to your "hidden clothes washing" place. The Cathedral is amazing. Sicily offers so many great places to explore with historic places and tremendous views. Congratulations on your wedding 😊
Hopefully everything will go smoothly and you will be able to get the house in October. Nicki and Carlo from Positano, Italy bought a house in another part of Italy and had a lot of trouble with delays. When they finally got the keys, the previous owners had removed everything, including the sinks and toilets. That's not uncommon there apparently. I hope it goes better for you guys. Congratulations on marriage and finding a place to to live.
Been here since your very first video, I am so thrilled for you guys. I have been watching on and off over the years. It is so great to see you living a life that genuinely is what you want. Thank you both for the entertainment and escapism you provide. Alex, I also appreciate a good beach view. Cheers.
Congratulations! Look forward to seeing your paradise bargain. Glad Sarah & Luca were able to help you navigate all that bureaucracy. Can't go without saying Noah is such a cute little towhead! Be fun to see him have a place to run off all that energy.
Guys, when our (31 year old) son was Noah's age he was just the same and we swore by his old fashioned leather reins which you can still find. They would change your life!!! and his because he still has sort of freedom without being able to run you ragged. Hope this is helpful and thanks for the hilarious and interesting vlogs 😀💜
I only just learned of you and your channel through your appearance on the LEAW channel, so how wonderful that you're now moving to Sicily! It seems that Sara and Luca (and Luce!) did a good job of selling it to you!
I didn't want my son to feel like a dog on a lead but when we got him a litte backpack with a lead on, it was amazing! It gave him enough room to move without getting into trouble, and saved us constantly scooping him up. Far less stress all round
Yahoo! Home Owners, Wedding and travelling. So Happy for all of you. Sounds like a lot of new chapters are beginning for all of you. Let all the exciting adventures begin. Congratulations!!!
My wife and I visited Cefalu last year... lovely town and we look forward to going back and spending more time. Looking forward to seeing your new place... congrats!
I’m also getting married September 21st and honeymooning in Italy. 🇮🇹 I will definitely be looking into real estate while we are there. Congratulations on the house and the upcoming nuptials! 🥂
I’ve been watching a few different vlogs about ppl buying property in Italy this past year. It’s looking more and more inviting each passing month. I’m from Alaska and don’t look forward to the cold and darkness soon approaching. Another thing I really love about Italy is that majority of the locals make their own olive oil and have many awesome flea markets to buy amazing vintage things. I also have been thinking about Thailand as well because they have amazing beaches plus warm weather all the time. I’ve enjoined your vlog and look forward to seeing more of Italy through your lens.
Hi. As a foreigner, you can't buy a house with land in Thailand, you can only buy condo unit(s). There may be legal loopholes to buying land but those are usually pricey, time consuming & need lawyers. You can also just rent a place while trying it out. For Italy (or any other EU country), you can only stay for 90 days in a 180 day period, unless you have a special visa which will allow you to stay for 1 whole year. You can buy property in Italy or Portugal (like the Travel Beans) but you'll still be subject to EU visa rules. If you read some comments, there are questions to them abt visas/ 90-day stay since UK citizens are not part of the EU anymore due to Brexit. Good luck in your future plans.
As a retired pastor, glad to hear your getting married. Enjoy your family and friends and a Blessing over your life with your beautiful son. God 🙏 bless. ❤
So nice to have the Beans back, and Congratulations on the purchase of your new home. The Airbnb looks like a beautiful spot, especially that sun set ❤️. Looking forward to seeing your new home, you asked for comments on your move…….as long as The Beans are happy, nothing else matters. Enjoy! 🇨🇦
You need to get some child reins for Noah to keep him safe. Great news about a house your purchase sounds like when we bought in France. Good luck with the wedding.😊
What a wonderful surprise. Congratulations all the way around! I'm so happy for all three of you!!! You couldn't have found anything better than where you're at with the sounds of the waves and just a beautiful place to call home. You should count you blessings 🙌 🙏
@@alisonshellum9870 The point is that as non-EU citizens they can only be in the EU for 90 days at a time within 180 day period. Effectively means they won't be travelling within Europe anymore.
@@LukeSexton0901 So they can do long weekends away in Europe during their 90 days ‘at home’ and then enjoy trips around the rest of the world and spend time in the UK the rest of the time. Or apply for duel citizenship…
Congratulations! That's a descision I can relate to! I'm Seedish and American living in Stockholm. And I know so many foreigners who moved here and feel lonely, and find the long dark winters depressing. In fact one of those friends who's lived here for most of his life, has bought a flat and a motorbike in Sicily! Italy IS so easy from a social point of view, and children really are celebrated. Italian social life is spontaneous, unpretentious famiky friendly, and the good things in life are dependable there, good food, good weather, beautiful towns and scenery, and the language alot easier to learn. There's also alot of pepole from all over the world there, which makes a difference. If I could I'd buy a small house or flat there and spend half the year on the Mediterranean away ftom the darkness. Always loved Italy! So congratulations and best wishes for your wedding! ❤❤❤
Hallelujah 🙌🏻!!!!! The daily jesus devotional has been a huge part of my transformation, God is good 🙌🏻🙌🏻. I was owing a loan of $49,000 to the bank for my son's brain surgery, Now I'm no longer in debt after I invested $11,000 and got my payout of $290,500 every month…God bless Mrs Susan Jane Christy ❤️

Oh, what a great surprise!
Welcome here, Travel Beans family!
Have a great stay! 🍾
Congratulations!!🎉 Can't wait to share your new adventure! And, Noah's "WOW"!! Just the sweetest!
I tethered my son because he was a runner!
My mom leashed (I'm in the US,) my brother all the time when he was little and got some stares. I never understood that, it makes so much sense.
Very exciting, congratulations on home, marriage, etc. I completely understand the charm and peaceful life in Italy. Umbria stole my heart.
Absolutely THE BEST vlog ever with incredible news and 3 happy faces. Best on RUclips by far xxxx
Perfect. I thought I was going to see Sarah at the licensing bureau. Such great people just like you
I am so excited. You're gonna be neighbors with LEAW!!!!
Absolutely great news🎉❤
Congratulazioni! I moved to Sicily over 30 years ago and married a Sicilian. We're on the other side of Cefalù towards Palermo.
Yaaaaaaaaaay! Omg lol havent even seen the house yet but congratulations you guys!
So happy that Sara and Luca helped you.
SO DANG EXCITED for you guys! I have to wait to watch with my husband but I couldn't wait to pop on here and wish you all the best. So awesome!
River laundry was in most of the part of France, Italy and Spain were still in used up to around 1970😊 and more
Happy for you! Love hearing Noah start to speak, and love the idea of where things are headed for the Beans! Congrats.
Congratulations on your home purchase!
My 18-month-old grandson saw the ocean and the beach for the first time about one week ago and the first thing he said was "Wow!" Our son took a video of him.
That was so amazing to watch. What a wonderful experience for you all. It was a pleasure to watch. Thanks Newbys!
Congratulations guys! We searched high and low too and now live in Bulgaria and it was the best decision ever. Wishing you all the best ❤
Sara will Love having English speaking friends around Luce. 👍👍👍
To heck with the house... congrats on getting hitched! Yeah the house is kinda cool too. Thanks for taking us along!
SO YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR FRIENDS SARA AND LUCA, CONGRATULATIONS 🎉
Reins, i used reins with both of my girls. Gives them a 'sense' of freedom while you have the safety of holding on to him.
Yes, totally agree. I had reins for my daughter x
Ohhh Wow Congratulations! How wonderful for your little family. There is something very special about Italy and their beautiful people! So excited to see your new home! xx
Toddler walking harness/reins may be useful so that Noah can still walk about safely without you having to keep chasing after him.
I was about to say the same thing. Walking reins for children Noah's age, means he can still explore but much more safely.
I was going to say the same thing ! Used them for our of our 3 sons esp middle son who has adhd!
Don’t remember when leashes for children got a bad name but it seems much safer to me.
Emma you are glowing, motherhood really suits you, love your videos regardless of what you are filming, good luck on the nuptials and the move xx
Congratulations Beans! Thank you for sharing your journey with us all - You guys are such a treat to watch xx
Yahoo! Home Owners, Wedding and travelling. So Happy for all of you. Sounds like a lot of new chapters are beginning for all of you. Let all the exciting adventures begin. Congratulations!!!
Congratulations for all your happenings, Marriage, new home and more travel adventures.🎉,😄
My wife and I visited Cefalu last year... lovely town and we look forward to going back and spending more time. Looking forward to seeing your new place... congrats!
I love how Emma always laughs at Alex’s jokes. ❤
Congratulations. I know you're prepared for lots of work & joy in your new home. Happy for you.
I’m also getting married September 21st and honeymooning in Italy. 🇮🇹 I will definitely be looking into real estate while we are there.
Congratulations on the house and the upcoming nuptials! 🥂
Am I the only one who has smiled this whole vlog?
NO!
Nope!
I don't believe them
@@dominiquegstrein4458 you don’t believe they bought a house? Why not?
Looks great but, to address the elefante in the room - Are you applying for a visa or are living in Italy within the 90 in 180 days restrictions?
Yes I also wanted to know this! Thank you for asking because now that Brexit has happened that means Europe is no longer part of the EU.
That's what I was going to ask. 90 days only? And the Mafia?
Maybe with all the travelling elsewhere they have planned it wont be a problem.
You are very lucky. Seems a wonderful place for a young child. I am looking forward to seeing more of the area.
Congratulations on your new home and marriage!!! I enjoy watching your videos. Baby Noah is just the cutest.
Congratulations we’ve missed y’all. We love Italy been able to visit twice and can’t get enough of it. Would love to have a home away from home there
What a change from an exploding van in the US! Looks like you are living the dream. I hope the Cosa Nostra are good neighbors!
I’m excited to see your Italian adventure and new home or renovation of your new Italian homestead!🙏🏼🇮🇹
Do you have the right to remain in Sicily, or do you have a nomad visa? As a fellow Brit, I'm just curious how a move like this works!
Hello!! how do you make such monthly, I’m a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down of myself 😭 because of low finance but I still believe God
