But also, home many homes does one need! Last week I encountered a man sleeping rough, I thought he was dead as he was flat out unconscious. My heart and head just couldn't figure out how such young people end up on the streets and in such a state.

Once again: Your presentation did not fail. This one just might be my favorite. Three of my grandparents migrated, as adults, from Central Southern Italy -- Carovilli- and the fourth from Sicily. My parents were first born Americans. So, i grew up in a very Italian based culture. I dream of someday going back to my family's roots. Thank you for sharing such beauty with all of us. It lifts my soul.
Go to Italy now, there are plenty of inexpensive places to stay, food at market and restaurants is really cheap compared to USA. If you were brought up in the culture, you will not want to come back!!! I loved it so much (Irish decent) that I went back 6 times. Carovilli is a "hill" town and Sicily has many towns built into the hills so go while you can still walk well. Italy is still not handicapped friendly.

I have NO Italian culture (52% Scottish, rest Americanized mutt), but have gone on two great Globus tours there (southern Italy and Puglia region-which we absolutely loved) and Sicily, and it’s now very very much on our radar as a place to retire. Very very inexpensive, beautiful, friendly, safe….. Amiamo assolutamente l'Italia!

A little lot for words with this one. If I had the money I would not think twice. What a setting to be under the Tuscan sun, I’m not surprised it’s had 6 viewings already. A fantastic setting with outstanding vistas across the Tuscan hills. Rustic, chic and r😮emote enough for the tranquility one would want and still only 10 mins from Cortina with all the town has to offer. Stunning truly stunning.

This is my favorite house so far. It has everything and Nick took care to show it all. I love the old trees and all the little treasures, plus a newly discovered wine cellar. I wonder what the story is on the wine cellar. Incredible.

I've only been to Europe once....it was to Cortona. I often wish I could visit other parts of Europe, but then I remind myself if you only get to visit one place in Europe, the Tuscany region is enough. Also visited Rome, Siena and Firenze, stayed in Cortona most of the time. Most beautiful little town in the world, thanks for taking me back, a wonderful video. Love the house.

Hi Nick , Dont even know where to start. I just wouldn’t change a thing. It’s perfect in every way. It feels like a real home you can feel cozy in . Feels like a home that welcomes you with a big smile and a warm embrace and Iam getting this feeling from a video I can only imagine what it feels like in person. This would be my forever home no way I’d rent it out. It was so tastefully restored and I love the old with the way the new is subtly added in. Beautiful comfortable decor and just love the layout downstairs just so perfect. Love the colors the flooring the doors the gorgeous windows. My bedroom would probably be the first on with the gorgeous terrace. Or Maybe the beautiful tower room . Out side is a masterpiece and the wine room could also be a place to have a romantic dinner for two. So nice to dream with all this nightmare going on in the world . There’s so

Nick, this property certainly is one of the top 5 that you have portrayed this far as it is masterfully done in so many ways. I know that it is very difficult for people to put so much time and effort in a multi-year renovation project only to have to give it up later in life as they get on in age or needing to move elsewhere. Most people are hoping for new caretakers that can show as much love for what they have done as it certainly easies the sadness just a bit. As always, thank you for this viewing, much appreciated...!

Nick, the number of amazing properties you've shared over the years is unreal. €2.3M is a fair price for that gem of a property and can see why there's been so much interest. Compared to prices here in California, it's an absolute bargain.

I guess I would be curious as to where in California you are comparing this to as far as it being a supposed bargain. And also, the various flavors involved in such a comparison make it quite complex (if not impossible) to pin down as to value, since the pros and cons in both locales could make a long list depending on individual desires and at what station in one’s life one is at. I would point to north inland San Diego County and its many multi acre Spanish Revival estates as an example for this not necessarily being a bargain, per se. However, I am sincerely interested in, and curious of, your views on it all and how you arrived at your assessment 👍
@@midnightmc3096 Virtually any desirable community in California will see substantially higher prices for similar quality/location. As a builder, I know costs fairly well and it's impossible to replicate similar properties for what Nick shows us week-in, week-out. Prices easily exceed $1000/sf for nicer properties. Frankly, $2.5M is a glorified track home in many places. Heck, in Silicon Valley, you can find thousands of run-of-the-mill $3-4-5 M homes on dinky lots on congested streets in places like Palo Alto/SF etc etc. Same thing Corona Del Mar/Balboa etc etc etc.
I love how slow you walk through the property. I give us the opportunity to almost take it all in. Thank you so much.
