It’s always a good thing, to see things a half cup full, than a half cup empty, being optimistic is ok, but being rational and practical, if I’m going to spend over a million euros, I prefer the home be move in ready, renovation is good when the cost is minimal, meaning, under 250,000 euros, well that’s my opinion, like always Annette very witty honest and direct, love your channel, blessings 👋

You may not know this...see my Fortress Tour videos...I have done this renovation actually 10,000 square feet we own a 12th century fortress in the area. You may want to pick up my book Italy is My Boyfriend where I document the process, it took 3 years to make it livable. We are finally finished completely with the renovation 7 years later. Thank you for watching there are a couple more like this coming in the next months. PS not buying this anytime soon.
@@AnnetteJosephstyle yes was aware of your big appetite for renovations ("huge renovations" it sounds like Frank would say!)...so yeah I didn't know if you would take on an additional one, but it would be 5 years exactly like you guesstimated. There are plenty of house tour videos of beautifully styled and staged homes, but not a lot of tours showing things as they stand today and that need lots of work and love, so you are making something that is a bit different :)
1st house - potentially a grand palazzo again but at huge cost. I preferred the two other little beauties - esp the last one…25k BUT reno costs??? Could blow the budget sky high🌋🌋
At first I wanted to say that if you loved the house and could afford it then go for it. Then when you said you would spend 5 years fixing it up and then selling it, I changed my mind. Why spend 5 years of blood, sweat, tears, and physical, emotional, and financial agony, only to sell it. Especially at this stage of life. To not live in a home you have that much invested in, would be masochistic. Seeing someone else enjoy what you spent 5 years creating. For what? Money? I would think about what is really important to you and what kind of memories you and your family want to create and share. Life is really short. Why not do something really fulfilling and fun, like creating a travel group and vlogging your trips to interesting places and sharing your joy in the culture and food and gardens. I love watching people on RUclips having fun and enjoying life.

No. Imaginable cost to get supplies and months to get supplies months. Local government cost and mandates can be hefty. Locals will see you as a money cow. Build a school somewhere instead and find a nice condo so you can travel.
