Annette you've gotta buy this one for 70k, completely redo it, and make it into a detached guest room of La Fortezza for a person or couple who want a little more privacy but still to participate in your retreats. You can provide them with a Vespa or two to go back and forth (Vespa parking spot in the "cantina" portion). That would be great. Ciao

I love Annette. Every other channel that has a real estate always starts with a ‘ totally renovated,’ and then when you see it is been done in the 60 or 70’s with shiny lacquered kitchen cabinets. Can you find a home being renovated and go after costs of renovations in Italy. A simple bathroom from demo to modest finishing is 8,000 euros. There are only a few out there and they are doing renovations back when there was the bonus offered by the govt.

I also like your honesty. There is one channel where the guy is constantly saying how "stunning" everything is at the property. There are storage rooms "cantinas" full of stuff that needs to be carted off to a dump and he's describing the cantina as "stunning". I really wonder if "stunning" is his code word for "What a dump heap! Just gut the place and start fresh." Or, Maybe he has "After" vision and is able to see the property in his mind's eye, whereas the rest of us only see the "Before" picture in our heads.
Well, I don't pull any punches. I do however want to see loads of makeovers and love to the properties I tour. I love renovating as we did our own home here in Italy. Making these treasures livable is my main message. But I am realistic, it takes patience and money and time to make the perfect home. Thank for watching your comment made my day. x
@@AnnetteJosephstyle after 30 years as a broker in nyc, and having watched and been part of hundreds of “renovations” to apartments and dealt with many many contractors I’m betting 1st more like 100 grand than 60 grand. But hey, if you can do a renovation like that for 60 grand my hat is off to you 👍
