This method is more convenient of the freezer to oven. Thank you Mr. Duffman. I will definetly try this! Anthony Joseph Lucchese
Awesome advice, I cooked Frozen Atlantic salmon fillet cut in half because it was too big to fit in the pan. Put in the oven for 375, and for 45 minutes and it was perfect and I'm having macaroni and cheese too.
The way you pronounced "Sockeye" sounded just like the Japanese "sake" which means salmon. First time I ever put the two together. I was wondering if it was a bastardization of the Japanese word. Turns out it's an Anglicization of an indigenous American word. Now I'm wondering if the origin of the indigenous word is somehow related to the Japanese word.
Clearly 😂 the American language of English is simply bits and pieces of every other previous civilizations. We learn this in middle school during grammar lessons about origins and prefixes etc etc. it’s common sense.
This was JUST the video I was looking for. I’ve been wanting to cook my salmon from frozen with seasoning. (Since it’s hard to season when it’s hard as rock)
you can certainly thaw the salmon and no the taste won't be diminished. Most people do thaw their salmon first. The video is just demonstrating that you don't have to.
@@Chaspickle You've never heard the phrase "Looks delicious"? Or "Looks tasty"? Are you serious? I mean that has to be one of the most common phrases in the English language lmao....

You're using margarine (poison) & you removed the skin (super healthy omega 3's)....try using Kerry Gold butter & eat the skin! Super healthy adaptation to your recipe!! 😋
@@michelle5674 I'm not an expert on nutrition, but vegetable oils are known to be unhealthy and bad for you. The butter he is using is probably mostly soy or canola oil. Butter that is made from milk and only has a couple ingredients is considered healthier. (Might be an exception for someone who is allergic to dairy). Also note unhealthy vegetable oils generally don't include Olive, or coconut oil. There are some other oils both vegetable and nut that may also be in the category of "healthy." Also soy/canola is the oil that is in most processed and cheap foods that you eat (fries at fast food restaurants are usually fried in these oils).

i've only heard of this when you're cooking meats in a slow cooker, prolonged times at lower temps of a crockpot/slow cooker can keep the meat at prime bacteria growth temps for too long, but when it's in the oven, it gets too hot for bacteria to survive. Wondering where you came across that thawing info, or if that is what you're talking about
