I had a lot of tech cards aimed at helping me with the Bucky match up, in particularly Tinkerbell Tactican & Belle are aimed at improving my chances in this match up.
If you wish to further increase the decks power against Bucky I suggest including 2-3 copies of Smash!

Team Labyrinth had a list similar to yours we had tested for Chicago, but nobody ended up playing it. We never considered 3 drop tink, but seems like a pretty sweet piece of tech in this matchup. Not sure I could stomach 3 copies, but I'll definitely be trying it.
Card is actually so much better than you'd think. I would go to 4 copies before I go to 2 copies
I wasn't expecting many Bucky players in this tournament (there ended up being two) & so I didn't want to tech too heavily for the match up. To improve the match up more, I would suggest running 2-3 copies of Smash in place of: Spellbook, Benja & Maleficent
I watched your first video, dropped the book for a 4th Maleficent. I could see, dropping and benja and spell book for a smash, I feel like Maleficent helps a TON in control match ups by putting the aggro pressure on
Any particular reason on why you didn't expect to see Bucky players?
@@Gregors85 I predicted around half of the field to be competitive players & the other half more casual. I knew most of the more competitive players attending & could predict their deck choices pretty closely

I'm a new player, was looking for a good and fun budget deck and came across your last video and this. Looks so much fun, I bought it today and managed to keep it around €100 with eBay auctions & cardmarket deals which is insane for what it is. Will be attending my first ever store tournament in a few weeks, very excited to play this! Thanks for the video and for the tips, the commentary is definitely super helpful.

Thank you for this video. I am also fan of this live plays with commentary. I play bucky diablo deck also, but probably playing it wrong, because it does not seems that good in my eyes. Ramps or song decks are killing me all day long, so I think I will try to play your deck :)

I'm running a very similar deck to yours and it really is the bucky beater. Also castle alone can beat the Blue Steel decks. Not great into Red blue or red purple
.but can still win that matchup too. I also am running 2 belles and she ALWAYS makes a big impact whenever she is played.. usually surprise knocks someone out... sings something...and gets a quest off... good one to bounce and replay too. Are you running Big Yzma in this build? I am just for tomatoes and Big Cindys.. otherwise just use her to bounce the rabbit and draw 3

Nice to see you drop content again. Im a green/grey player,i feel like it doesn't lore for enough early game and go toe to toe with any colour.... WITHOUT bucky.
Remove bucky, aladdin and jafar to include murfolk, 2 costt flynn and benja.
I would tech some decrees in this deck since you run the Belles it can be good early and late game against a lot of decks along with avalanche against the amethyst mirror
Played this deck verbatim, in my local challenge event. For some reason I could not get it off the ground. I think I drew probably the worst cards and mulliganed into worst cards the whole time. Man, I really wish I had better luck drawing cards in an order that could actually combo
Went 1-2 into Sapphire steel
Went 1-2 into to Ruby amethyst
Went 2-1 into a sticker deck (couldn't even 2-0 that)
Not sure What I did wrong. I studied the deck. I played it I practiced, The amount of luck I had with me was just f****** non-existent

Red purple
Also a red purple and a grey purple but no compleat, not 4 castle or flynn some stuff missing.
But what you recommended to play, i have all grey, purple and green cards need to get. What ypu recommend
May I suggest to use monocolor mats? It would help a lot to see the cards when I see from phone and I have a space limit to the screen

Im still of the mind that Diablo is only a problem because of Bucky. In a post Bucky world, he’ll be good but not a menace.

What would you exchange for the smashes? I only have one Maleficent, what would you replace with?
If you only have 1 maleficent, you should probably just drop entirely. The odds of you getting any value out if it is slim because the odds of you drawing it are low
@@sdc3536 I suppose I could drop the maleficents for the smashes and go straight hate. I also thought about removing something for a couple avalanches. Takes care of cove and bucky
I'm loving the live play content! Great games and commentary. I was curious though, what is the draw towards Amethyst steel over Amethyst Emerald? Do you feel like it has a better match up spread?
Benja & Ba Boom are great into the Sapphire & Diablo decks respectively.

I already had it faceup lol with a dice on top to mark it as my hand
I got the camera setup slightly wrong & thought you could see my hand
How did your deck do against ruby/sapphire
I don't think anyone brought Ruby Sapphire but if I find Maleficent on Turn 1 its usually a very easy match up - especially when going first.

Wait in game 1 when he played the second Aladdin you didn’t discard bc of not having a hand. But then you picked up two cards off the table (Belle and Rabbit) when he passed turn. You definitely had a hand to discard 😅
There was no Bucky on the board for the second Aladdin ;)

The decks you went up against with this deck are what I expect to see at my locals so it definitely makes me tempted to use it. However, I know there are at least 1 or 2 Amber/Steel players in my area too. How do you think this deck does against those?
Also, do you think taking out the Spellbook and 1 baboom for 2 smashes would be a bad idea?
I wouldn't take out Baboom but you could drop a Benja & sounds good!
@33:27 .... Why? Has 5 ink. pays 4 ink to loose 2 cards from hand instead of just.. playing the 5 cost character and inking the 1 drop. and then proceeds to not use the 5th ink.

I'd never even consider it here & would personally cut it in RP as well. It is too slow without offering any board presence or questing for my taste. It is a good card to sing Friends with but that is about it. I much much prefer Magic Brooms & Chernabogs Followers for card draw
@SpeciLorcana I think the main reason it's included in rp is to shore up the match into e/s. If it was cut in place of brooms I think your variance would go down specifically versus e/s. Interested in your thoughts on rp tho

Kawas Decklist is not even the correct decklist. The decklist linked doesnt have the 1 cost flynn or the shift flynn also no Zeus song in the list which he played.
