An you do a magic strength build guide please
yo, there's a scammer going around with your logo telling ppl to whatsapp him for a ps5. Plz make ppl notice so they don't get scammed
Finally someone mentions the volcanic pots! They are so good and even slow many large/tough enemies' movement by locking them up with each damage tick so you can js keep throwing them, get away, heal, etc.!
You can quit the game in a boss fight and then when you reload you’re in front of the fog gate. Helpful if you’re not ready to face the boss and was caught by surprise!
You legend
Use the blood medallion that you received from vare.
The amount of times I've done this when I've entered a boss room too low level but still need to get my runes back
Weak
Or if you die you can go run back, get your rooms and exit out the app.
For Rock Sling Specifically, if you cast left handed, you get the same Arrows Reach distance tracking with 2 of the 3 rocks, even without the talisman. Doesn't work right handed, only left.
I noticed this too, it's pretty great. I wonder if the talisman would increase those 2 even further to near infinite range lol
Flame, Cleanse Me! is an amazing spell. Specially for the scarlet rot, since the boluses are hard to come by. The Magrit Shackle thing is amazing. I can't believe the reach. But the best has to be the Mogh teleport thing. That's really helpful.
Awesome video, man!
Js keep in mind it wont work if your in a cave/catacomb/mine that you havent beat the boss. It basically js bypasses the map block when an enemy is aggro'd to you.
I still think it would be funny when you kill the giant hands with fire. The last pose on death just shows the hand flipping off the Tarnished.
Thank you for the tips again Nizar. I knew none of them. Great help, once again.
My tryhard ass already knew all of the content in the video but I’m still very glad that you took the time to compile factual, useful tips that aren’t that well-known so that newer players can take advantage of them.
Alternatively to tip #9 you can quit to the main menu, and you'll be outside the boss arena when you load back in. Runes and all! The only time this won't work is if you're being attacked/in a killing animation.
Also, I'll definitely be using tip #18 for Rock Sling! I swapped it for Collapsing Stars, but I'm bringing it back now!
Enjoying your content Niz. Bizarrely I didn't know the crouch stamina restore trick. So thanks man.
I've watched allot of these tips and tricks vids for elden ring and didn't expect to see much new.
Good job on this, i was surprised by how much i didn't know yet 👍👍
Wow arrows reach plus rock sling blew my mind
Man you’re ER vids are amazing. Always look forward to them
Thanks for the great vid. Loved the stamina tip and going to pass along the arrow talisman tip to my friend. :)
Very cool, thank you so much for sharing these, lots of good stuff here!
i knew about the crystal darts one and my favorite talisman is even more useful then i thought! i learned dude ty so much!
Nizar Love your vids man! Can you make a guide for a build that uses shield? Like a knight!
thank you, very helpful! didn't know about the endurance trick... one small comment: to get the first item on the spell/item box you don't just press up/down, you HOLD it.
Honestly, keep up the good content, you are great! Love your vids!
Amazing tips, man. Love it.
Didn't know about the frostbite fix. Or the mohg teleport and patch features but those don't count offline and unpatched I don't think. Good video
One thing I didn't know until my second play through, and something I've never seen anyone mention is that you can stop those annoying boulders in the Academy. There's a pathway that takes you up above, where the boulders are constantly being respawned, and if you kill a group of baddies up there, the boulders stop. Even if you die and go back later, they never come back.
Fightincowboy showed that in his guide. Just another reason to explore all the things.
Little thing to remember, don't always trust tip 15, there are places on the map where you will fall.
Liar ahead
It’s true I’ve died like that
Very useful, thanks !
This is such a great video! I learned so much
A bunch of great tips here, thanks!
Early PvP OP Builds.
Could make alot of videos with a series like that.
The rocksling is insane!! Coincidentally I just happen to start a new caster. lol
If you wear any part of the briar armor, you can stop the charge of the red albinaurics just rolling to their way while charging with spikes
Quality. Need more.
The shackle tip is dope
neat tips dude ty!
Apparently if you hold the staff in your left hand you get extra reach with 2 of the 3 rocks you shoot from Rock Sling, I wonder if it stacks with the talisman and you can have a farther reach!
I assume mohg’s shackle has the same effect/range as margit’s, correct?
that was very useful, thanks alot!
Hey Nizzar, can you do a How to be OP early for Prisoner class?
YESSS, I will
@@NizarGG Thanks!
Don't go to jail
Holy shit, these were so good. After all this time, I still didn't know more than a few of them. Cheers my dude.
10:49 could be use on the invisible bridges?🤔
This was actually helpful. Usually these videos are just full of meh. Thanks!
Cool trick with the knights medallion!
Nizzar can you do a Prisoner/Spellblade build please
thx!
Wow these are great 👍
Do you have videos on how to get the items in the video? I struggle to follow RUclips who think everyone has unlocked the maps. I like ESO he does step by step on item builds. Your video is nice, I just subscribed.
Watch a RUclipsr called fighting cowboy he has platinum guide for Elden ring in which he also covers grabbing most items in the game hops this helps!
You May want to keep the Rowa Raisin in your pouch so you can use it quickly if you’re on torrent and running away from something like a Giant Bear.
great information
Really good information in here, but my one complaint is putting footage from such an important endgame boss in the video. It’s a significant spoilerbfor people who don’t want spoilers and are just looking for general tips, and it doesn’t really need to be there- this footage would have been just as relevant if it used one of the Watchdog fights instead.
Still though, this is a very helpful video, aside from the spoiler, and I learned a lot, so thank you for putting all this info together for everyone.
At 12:14 where you’re listing off spells the arrows reach talisman affects, which black flame spell are you referring to?
The blackflame fireball one
@@NizarGG Why does your talisman say "various projectiles" while mine says "effective bow range?"
Was there a patch to the item?
@@Icemario87 That's the '"hidden mechanics" part, it was never mentioned in the item description
@@NizarGG Oh weird. Ok.
You can also hold down or up to reset the menu.
The shackle tip was amazing
I couldn't catch it too his accent, what's the name of that hero grave
Bro been wanting a pc for 8 years (18 now) and got it yesterday (3070 build) just got elden ring and Oml it’s so much fun haha. Been playing games for so long just on my laptop and Xbox :(
The game looks so damn good on PC (not that I've tried it on anything else) Congrats on getting one!
That was a great video
Dude knows things 😮
What about stats as you get past level 30s and 40s? Just pump int and faith with some vigor and mind as needed?
Sounds like a solid plan. I would honestly till 60 not worry about putting more points into int or faith (or maybe a few points in intelligence to get the sorcery requirements without the flask), but rather put all your points in mind and vigor to make things smoother. Since you already have great damage and a nicely upgraded sword. Obviously it's all up to preference so if you feel like you don't need more vigor or mind then yeah just put the points into int and faith primarily.
@@NizarGG well, I think you’re right. I can tell you I’m a bit of a glass cannon now. So the solution is probably to live longer rather than hit harder. Vigor and mind it is! Thanks for another great build.
really good
I knew all these,
but what i didnt know was that an invader at minimum goes 1v2, and against password anime friends. Great fun, no wonder the game is so " active".
Wait, how do you get back to the first spell in your top/up menu? Is this something that PC can do that xbox can't? I push up to cycle through them but would LOVE to be able to jump back to the first as I keep my spells in a very specific order and it SUCKS when I get out of order. Nothing like casting FGMS when I thought I was going to roar. Otherwise fantastic video, I think I've seen a fair number of these elsewhere but managed to forget them. The one that was 100% new to me was the Flame Cleanse Me removing frostbite, that is SO amazing. I hate standing around for 10 minutes for frostbite to clear.
You have to HOLD the up button (or the down button) and it'll take you back to the first item in the carousel.
@@DustinHallXVX Gotcha, thanks. I'll have to start working that in.
He did a really poor job of explaining that one. I was actually browsing the comments just to see if anyone had already pointed it out.
I think in his mind "Tap" is a quick press to advance to the next items and "Press" is the equivalent of hold, but yeah, you got to hold the button for about a second for it to go back to 1st item.
love the videos
Here's another fun tip for dealing with bosses, if you're low on health and items and such but, don't want to lose your runes, if you quit out of the game and load back in you will be standing outside the boss fog with the fight having been reset.
For the pouch and main items I like to put in the pouch my Physic, my main summon, the Lantern and of course the horse. For my main items, I only put the healing and mana potion so you have almost instant access to either at any time
I tried to move the horse, but my muscle memory always went to the spot next to the flask in those "oh shit" moments.
@@jatilq I definitely know what you mean lol
I have all 3 flasks and Torrent in my pouch slot. These are the items that are most important to have in an instant imo.
@@albetudo9313 same here 💯
Instead of the blood thingie you can also just leave the game to the main menu. When you this in a bossfight you will be placed right in front of the fog wall
Yeah, but quitting the game isn't all that easy, you got to hit 6 buttons to do it on console.
Intro song??
You can just quit out to save runes in a boss fight. You start flame outside of boss room
You are good. You have my attention; subed.. gonna check out some of your content and probably comment.
The shackle one is mindblowing, its like a bug
yeah. guaranteed it'll get patched
It isn't a bug. The shackles send out a wave that deals a small amount of damage, like zero, in order to trigger the effect of the shackle on an entity it hits (like Margit). But all the fire pillars also react to any amount of damage interaction, even if it's zero. This is why jumping against those pillars also makes them move. Margit's shackle also breaks furniture and pots, for the same reason.
However, the 'attacking near a ledge thing' is straight up not true. If you rely on this a lot, it WILL get you killed.
@@9thAvalon You are just describing how it works. It's a bug though. You bet your ass fromsoft did not intend it to be able to cheese stuff like that. It'll be fixed.
@@sotonin It's a fundamental interaction that's built into the game's engine. If they 'fix' it, many other interactions will break.
Also, how tf would you even know what the dev team intended? Do you often decide for others what they think?
@@9thAvalon It's an obvious mechanic that is an exploit. it'll be patched.
As an Alternate to #9 you can just exit out of the game in a boss fight. when you load back in you will be right outside the fog door. no teleport item required.
I’m smart now
like 2 or 3 thinkgs was partly new to me (like that our most loved buttcleaner incantation does self damage :o )
Can someone explain the first slot of spells and consumables tip?
How is he getting directly to the first item?
Anyone?
@@Scorpion_111 i've since figured it out. if you press and hold the button, it will take you to the first item in the list.
@@andy4an appreciate you taking the time to reply bro, thank you.
My Arrow's Reach Talisman says "bow range." Yours says "various projectiles." What's up with that?
I've beat the game 3 times, scored all the trophies, and STILL didn't know half the tricks here. Thank You!!!
Probably a knight build with the name Sir Capalot
I have 200 hours in this game and not. once. did I think to put the goddamn gatorade on the quickslot.
Dude, the margit shackle thing is fucking poggers.
Yes I need it
Wouldnt removing frostbite actually be detrimental though? You cant re proc it unless its removed so doing that would open you up to being refrostbitten immediately….
I suspect that people who are good at the game would rather remove the debuff than maintain frostbite immunity.
Yeeeeah, the whole premise of a fire and ice build is to instant reproc, so removing frostbite from.yourwelf would just be doing that for free for my fire snd ice build lol wouldnt even need my fire dmg anymore if everyone did that for me haha
literally just quit to menu mid fight and it’ll start you outside the fog wall with your runes, no need to teleport to mohg
Yeah but it's more complicated / takes more effort to navigate the menus. Mohg is one button
@@sotonin lmfao
@@sotonin not if you don't already have it equipped, it's not.
@@y0nd3r true. you need to give it a spot. personally navigating menus is annoying and i don't even bother in the heat of battle.
Yes
Shackle also resets watch dogs in catacombs, They stop and turn away from you.
I don't understand #4. The up button already scrolls through spells in the top slot and you're telling me the up button brings up the pouch?
The flask thing in the pouch seems pointless since you can get directly to the flask by holding down
Much easier to have flasks and Torrent assigned to hotkeys that dont scroll. Use items like throwables for the scrolling item wheel. The pouch is definitely the best place for assigning the flasks and Torrent. Especially for ppl that use lanterns and summon ashes a lot. My lantern or summons is set to the 1st slot for quickly using them. Its just as easy to press triangle and left as it is to hold down a button for a second. But the issue is you then need to hit the use button AFTER holding down so you are more open to be hit…
You are using extra animations and hitting extra buttons so you waste time.
Holy Shackles D:
Well fck me...i could weep ive had Margetts Shackle for most of my game and never knew about the illusionary wall thing
You don’t “press” up or down to get to the first item you press and hold the butter. Fyi, feel like that should of been more clear
When the next build
Hitting dodge after a charge attack is not what you call " an alternative charge attack" It's called a Feint attack.
🙌
4:00 i don't get that tip.
For thos creepy arse hands, I just use fire quivers or my fire incants
More
Um... you do realise soulslikes are just 3D metroidvania. Like the chicken didn't inspire the egg. The egg led to the chicken...
The trick of going to the first item in your quick menu means putting your flask in your pouch is pointless, not to mention to access the pouch you'll need to hold y while pushing up which means letting go of everything else including movement or holding your controller in a messed up way when you can just have red then blue and anytime you use blue just hold down and go right back to red, simple
This is incorrect lol
Play claw for literally half a second and its jo problem lol
@@graydrive5796 Congratulations, you can repeat what I said "holding your controller in a messed up way when you can just have red then blue and anytime you use blue just hold down and go right back to red"
@@graydrive5796 It also stand what I said, why bother holding claw when you can just press once and flip straight to your first flask, if you make a habit of that any time you finish using something else there's no need to hold your controller like you have palsy
@@reluctantsocialist2670 lmao or you could simply fucking put one in your pouch and leave one in the hotbar. Dumbass.
I have the best tip for elden ring.
When you don't want to lose runes on the boss, or the boss is too hard for you, while the boss is killing you, press alt f4, close the game and go back. Your corpse will appear at the closed entrance to the arena to the boss and you will be able to freely climb your runes.
Yee
I knew none of these…am a n0.0b
Neeeeeeeed mmooooooorre
Knew all of these, they aren't new my guy
windmills looks awful. no thanks
Game sucks
Ugh, this "500 IQ garbage" is bleeding from COD to Elden? All of this stuff you had "thought of" somebody already thought of it (myself). Please stop squeezing views for stupid stuff and actually get good at the game please.
Yo keep it up man you get to the details I love it!🫡
