The time I replaced Nitewing with Vanwyrm has my flying mount was my best decision so far in the game, right now is my highest level pal and is amazing to farm giga spheres in the northeast corner desert as with the right area of effect attacks like Fire Ball it easily squashes the syndicate dudes in the area, only the crushers may take more than one hit
I feel like another underrated Pal is Beakon. With the saddle at 33 it makes a great progression from Vanwyrm. It has much higher speed and stamina. It is quite tanky (105 base HP) and electric as a type while sort of terrible offensively is great defensively, since ground attacks are rare and easy to dodge. Having your flyer go down can be crippling depending where exactly you are on the map and Beakon's surprising tankiness will avoid that scenario often. That isn't to say that it doesn't have decent damage either. I generally use Ignis Blast + Dragon Cannon + Wind Cutter on any flying pal, because it allows me to snipe things from extremely far away. Dragon Cannon is the AoE option. Burning/Vines massively increase your catch rate. And since all are 30 base damage, its good to chip down pals to catch. Even bosses can be killed this way - if you face Froststallion at level 45 or lower, your attacks deal almost no damage, but the burn can wittle it down. I did so even before Lifmunk statues were fixed (and I had 10, ruining my catch rate). The most underrated "thing" though I feel like is the Fire Crossbow. That thing is amazing. Burn allows you to slowly murder higher level bosses - but more importantly, the low direct damage combined with the burn makes it easy to catch low/mid level pals when everything you have would oneshot them.
Underrated? He's literally the first flying mount where you feel liek you are actually going somewhere at a decent speed before you use up your stamina.
Warsect's Partner Skill is actually worded wrong, he doesn't apply Fire Damage to your attacks (why would he honestly, and you can visually see in game that your shots have no fire effect), but he actually gives you Fire Damage Resistance, on top of Defense.
Yeah I was wondering about that. Guess I kinda wasted my time getting him to 3 star. Oh well lmaooo. Not like I had to catch them I just mass breed when I need to condense.
@@bazar2021Still not necessarily bad. His extra defense may allow you to shed more points from HP into attack during respec, and get higher damage anyways. Just a thought
@@MarsStarcruiser well his attack IVs are underwhelming. Currently even if I were to respec my whole team: Vanwyrm cryst Ragnahawk Kitsun and Jorm all have more attack than my warsect does by almost 300 at the same level and Kitsun isn’t even 2 star yet. He’s the only pal I have that got to around 700 defense without enhancements though. & I used him to beat Anubis senseless. Passives on everything is ferocious Musclehead burly body swift. Warsect is the same except he has serious instead of swift. I still like him a lot and I feel like it’s an underrated pal. I taught him grass tornado and he naturally learns the most powerful ground move you can get on his own. It’s the ground equivalent to blizzard spike. Still very useful I just would have preferred adding fire damage to my attacks since it already boosts defense. Or apply ground or grass damage to my attacks that would be fine too but that way he can tank while I take care of the Dmg. Most of my team is no more than 500 defense or so, so warsect is def a natural tank and not a bad pal at all regardless.
@@bazar2021Wow, didn’t know he gets that kinda defense. Makes a perfect low damage/high tank closer pal, to pristinely chip at the final HP without risking kill and hold agro when setting up the capture without necessarily needing to unsummon. My masochist/burly-body/hardened-skinned digtoise is currently the best I got for that job, but been looking for a good replacement. I’ll have to start farming me up some warsects myself.👍
@@MarsStarcruiser yeah they’re good! And personally I think they look pretty cool too. I recommend seed machine gun or seed mine early on to help you out with fighting. It learns mostly ground moves but I also noticed that sometimes your pals can inherit moves from the parents. I have certain pals that are normal but they learned ice moves, fire pals with dark moves, breeding is honestly so much better than catching things if you wanna get a little nerdy like me lol. &. Believe it or not I did all my breeding without looking anything up at first. I started to look them up because I kept getting pals I already had from diff combos I was trying. Before I looked it up I already wrote down my own notes on how to breed warsect, jorm, Anubis, Kitsun, vanwyrm cryst, Lunaris, and a few more. & grass tornado + seed machine gun was what I used when he soloed Anubis. All I had to do was focus on not getting hit lol. I play on 2.5 X damage so to get through the boss fights you’re slightly under leveled for it helps tremendously if you can get used to evading their attacks. I only shoot at them when they’re focused on attacking my pal lol. Also you can get Anubis caught on the trees during his dash attack and he’ll get stuck in that animation for like a solid 10-15 seconds 🤣
You'd be better off farming iron/berries, selling those, and buying flame organs. All ranch pals are terribly slow to create resources, even at 4 stars.
@@MrsLana92 True true but my method is for going afk. Have you ever tried 15 flamebelles??? You could just find a boss that drops them and do the butcher glitch. I think i got 8000 ice organs last night butchering frostallion and no legendary pal helmet schematic...
@@thegeneral19 You can afk get ore as well. Hell, you don't even have to be in the base. You can just accumulate a bunch and then deal with it all when you're not afk 😄
Don't forget Pengullet. Nothing says fun like a Penguin fueled Rocket Launcher, and the fact that despite what it's Partner skill states, it will survive being used like this with at least one Rank up. From testing, it seems each Rank increase reduces the HP cost of using Pengullet Rocket Launcher by around 20%. My current one is Rank 3 and ends up living with about 60% health. I word it that way costwise because you can still end up incapacitating Pengullet if his Current HP is too low. That being said, I definitely love seeing Ragnahawk and Tocotoco on this list. Ragnahawk being a fast non-legendary flyer on top of the attack boost and fire enchant makes him my main go to mount despite having faster ones like Faleris at my disposal. Only issue I have is it seems to bleed through Stamina faster than most mounts. Tocotoco I've had a ton of fun using as a base defense Pal. With my main base, the enemies get funneled into one entrance and Tocotoco just shreds through them like paper.
God, I love the pengulet cannon. He's the first (and so far, only, pet I've max starred) not only does he survive each time, he hits like a truck, both out of the cannon and follow-ups. Plus, he's just so dam cheerful about all of it.
@@Nsg-AmvNo, they looked into the code. It turns out, his ability description really was a typo. He provides a buff to your fire defense, not offense.
A reason I really love having a Ragnahawk with speed increase passives is that it can fit through every opening in dungeons. Works so well for zooming through dungeons quickly.
I feel like Reptyro needs more love. It's exclusive attack (Volcanic Burst) is bonkers. 100 damage that comes out quick with a huge AOE. It's also very easy to aim while mounted. Just aim at the targets feet and keep aiming with the target during the wind up animation. Even if the target moves, the epicenter will be pretty much where your mouse was pointing at the time the animation ends. Give it that with both Sand Tornado and Flare Storm and it can kill an enitre base raid by itself if you line up the attacks right. Also looks dope and is a great miner and kindler at the base. My ore prduction base has like 6 of them.
Vanwyrm has taken me through this whole game so far (lvl 42 right now) I accidentally created my 1st right on top of mammorest spawn area so I really need a strong fire pal to make my base safer
Surprised that you didn't mention that you can get Tombat in the easy areas as an early game level 2 miner. Witch helps out a lot for early game mining metal at your base.
My main is actually vanwyrm. Can agree got em as my 2nd flying mount and took it to lvl 4 and good stats. Im lvl 50 and still use it definatly a underrated pal! Glad to see my brib getting love
thank u so much for including taco taco i really wanna use this guy for the memes him and pengullet, my current pengullet has musclehead and hits for 6k+
Or just assign Flambelle to the ranch to get infinity flame organs and wonder why you tried in the first place... Only to realize you need it for ice organs, instead.
I saw the promise in Vanwyrm so I went out of my way to breed it with specific passives. Even though I could use a better mount (and even though i have to switch to heat resistant armor when I go to Mount Obsidian) he's still my main flying mount.
..and here I am with tombat and vanwyrm as my mains... still, didnt knew one could stun-bomb with the hog.. good to know.. as for all others on that list, I just have yet to catch one..
I love Magnahawk, Beakon, the little wiggley weasel dragon for changing my damage types, and then obviously Jetdragon for speed xD I then have Anubis for crafting purposes
I'm doing a playthrough where I can only catch alphas or luckies and everything else has to be obtained through hatching eggs, merchants, breeding or rescue. I got a Tocotoco and after destroying Zoe and Grizzbolt with the grenade eggs I was like "Omg why haven't I bothered with this pal before????"
Ragnahawk got me Jetdragon. Get one to at least lv 3 partner skill, and team him up with 4 Gobfins with Lv 3 partner skills and Vanguard. You get a 30% bonus for riding him and flame damage. I just rolled up on Frostallion with a Legendary Assault rifle and a Rocket Launcher. Caught it, and went after Jetdragon with it.
@t.hokage9748 Works for me, as I was mostly relying on myself at that time anyways. A good amount of times, my pals would just get stuck in a loop while fighting, so I just had to whip out the sword and... wait. Why is there no Legendary Sword!?
I forget the name but there is a fire horse that is the same as the ice reindeer but instead of always cooling you, the fire horse always provides warmth. He also has a charge attack and is a pretty fast ground mount.
Warsect and Ragnahawk are in my team on the first server I played on. On that same server Vanwyrm was my second flying mount for a long time till I got a random Ragnahawk in an egg with swift. Ragnahawk is fast enough on ground I decided to stop carrying a land mount and planned to breed a beef cake Ragnhawk, because I already knew everybody was gonna want to use Jet Dragon as he is the fastest so I planned to breed a swift, runner, lucky, legendary ragnahawk just to be using something else that looks cool and was fast enough. Until I found Shadowbeak which kinda inserted itself into those plans replacing Ragnahawk. A friend bred a max speed Jet Dragon later and it was hard to control at times, but he did use it to 100% the map lol. Bushi I've used as a worker in every play through but never on team, although he was on a list for a "melee" team I was planning on breeding at some point along with Incenaram and Gorirat. I did use Gorirat a little on my first server in my early 30s but he seemed like a glass cannon and had no sustain so I quickly switched back to w/e I had before him. Funny how I called him a glass cannon and you just use him as a bomb.
If youre looking for flame organs Flambelle gets them for free in a ranch. I used it to bulk make flame arrows early on cause I got one from a syndicate camp.
Ragnahawk is the only pal that flies under the rooms in dungeons, making them insanely useful in speed running dungeon ending chest for +2 pendants and shirts
I wish I was at a point I could enjoy playing with any Pal for fun, currently the only thing I'm doing is killing Paladius and Necromus endlessly hoping I get the last legendary armors.
Flame organs - flambelle in farm Pal fluids - have orserk in your team and go to pengking fight, enter and call out orserk (make sure it's on passive) then ONLY kill penguins NOT THE KING, collect fluids and LEAVE (as in exit the boss arena) and enter again. Rinse and repeat
Some of these pals only appear at night and I find that night passes really quickly in this game. What setting should be used to make night last the same length of time as day?
Azurobe is underrated as she functions similarly to ragnahawk but is a ground mount. Went into blazamut's lair with her and 1 gobfin and 1 kelpsea (unleveled) and ripped the soul out of that mutt
barely notice it. she's only out when it's time to fight, by then i'm too distracted. i do notice afterwards but then she's going back in the ball already@@Drazil100
Yeah was hoping you mentioned toco toco 😅 I maxed one with the condenser & its been the cheesy cheeser for anything I don't want to catch because sometimes I misjudged it's power & one shot the entire raid party
The best base defense Pal is Quivern. Severely underrated. The basic, spammable dragon skill (dragon cannon) may have a power of 30, but it is AOE with a short cooldown. Quivern boosts the power of dragon attacks meaning that you can do significantly high DPS which i would say is better than Mossanda.
The reason why reindrix is “underrated” is because it’s a worse fenglope. Fenglope had high speed, double jump, AND it’s exclusive skill cloud dash does the same thing as freezing charge
I got lucky and caught a a Ragnahawk with the swift passive. Swift gives 30% more movement speed, so the only pal that moved noticeable faster for me was Jetragon 😂.
don't kelpsea stack with Ragna, go Gobfin instead; Kelpsea partner skill specifies "pal" damage, so it doesn't change your weapon damage. You just stay mounted and lay down boosted weapon damage, and the ragna damage boost happens after the gobfin boost so you hit like a truck. Edit: there are a ton of pals like Ragna as well: Chillet, Univolt, Beakon, Azurobe, Helzeph, Pyrin etc
@@astralguardian5930 the booster pals (roobie, foxicle, hoocrates ect) only boost the elemental power of other pals not the player. You want to go gobfin for the stacking effect on the player power, which is then multiplied by the mount bonus. once you start getting high quality/level weapons player power scales better than pal power in most cases.
what i dont like about this list is you have to give up mounts with a lot of them just to make it work. But since we are talking about giving up mounts Sweepa and 4 Swee's with that you can have one super powered Pal the Sweepa and you can be very strong as well if you breed the swee's to all have Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist so not only are all the Swee's buffing the Sweepa they are also buffing your atk and def by 40% total 10% from each one
Because only a few pals really matter in Palworld. And a lot of the stronger ones are found at the end of the game when you’ve already found an early game pal that’s strong enough to basically carry u through to the end. Sure u could get them through eggs. But then u might as well get the 3 best pals
I use vanwyrm as my current mount, but in fairness, I found a lucky one and like riding on a massive bird :3 When I used Mossanda, it's outwardly power with the grenade launcher was very underwhelming and it eventually left the party. From my understanding, a captured tocotoco doesn't do the insane amount of damage as it normally does imploding itself as wild pal. So not really a worth while component for a team.
While I found massanda fun and decent for mobs, i too found its damage underwhelming and had to look for a replacement. Also, it has a massively bad chance of pushing enemies through walls - so not worth the risk for anything you want to catch or bosses.
Alright. Imagine. A Gorirat with Celestial Emperor, Legend, Musclehead and Ferocious Passives while also condensed max and soul boosted. It would be a nuke....
I did catch a super powerful Ragnahawk somehow lol. Not sure how I did it, but I caught it at level 35 and it has Ferocious, Swift, Vanguard, and Pyromaniac. At level 50 it has around 5,500 hp, 1,150 attack, 990 defense, all base level before any upgrades. It's my strongest pal that isn't legendary.
Your reason for tom bat is completely invalidated by using a fenglope or a shadowbeak that can both be used to just zoom through farming areas and acquire the same items twice as quickly not having to travel on foot and switch pals. Yeah you cut your pal drops in "half" by not switching. But the time you save just flying around shooting and scooting from pal to pal is much easier and more efficient.
i have both Tocotoco and Gorirat fully condensed, Gorirat with primal fury's power is merely a fraction of Tocotoco. Tocotoco also has megaton implode but they don't even need to use that, the best part is you can aim their egg bomb, so no missed wasted bomb. Not to mention it's not only one shot, you have many shots before the cooldown. Also Gorirat megaton implode doesnt work well on flying enemies. I have both fully condensed, both has musclehead+ferocious+hooligan, but still Tocotoco is magnitude stronger than gorirat with primal fury
... if you swapped out Lucky for Celestial Emperor on Gorirat you'd get the 50% raw ATK boost for all its skills, then a 20% boost to that 50% for the neutral Megaton Implode 🤔 I am intrigued enough to maybe try it out hahaha
i could be wrong but i don't think element attack passives effect partner skills (tell me if im wrong) for toco-toco atleast. i did some testing with level 24 tocos and one only had celestial emperor (+20% to neutral damage) and the other had legend (+20% damage, def and 15% movement speed) my celestial toco had something like 280 attack and my legend toco had a little over 300 BUT if you go over the attack stat it shows the stats before and after passives so with legend it was a little over 300 but without it it had less base attack than my celestial and the element damage buffs are not shown on the attack stat so with passives it should be cele toco with 280 + 20% element buff VS legend toco with 300-310 attack counting its legend buff and the legend toco out damaged the celestial by a lot
@@hello74301 no prob. maxed out my toco and even at lv 43 it can take a level 49 alpha blazamut down to half hp with its partner skill so its pretty worth it. now i just need 3 or 4 more with similar IVs and i'll be set
@@Red-iu6wu so pal passvies dont work sorry i might not fully understand but does player attack count or no like you have to active and the plkayer has to shoot it sorta thing

I can't remember what mount I'm using now, starts with an s, has a k in its name. Fire type. Like twice as fast as vanwyrm.
@@Gr3nadgr3gorySuzaku?
I don't think SPEEDWAGON is underrated…
You want flame organ? Put flambelle in your ranch to graze
You can just accumulate a bunch and then deal with it all when you're not afk 😄
yo im ngl i laughed at the title of this video and then realized you're actually saying useful shit that im gonna start using. you got my support man
dude Mossanda is the missing Halo character, don't tell me you don't hear the theme song every time he jumps
Let's go! Love for Vanwyrm baby! Woo Hoo
Warsect don't buff your damage he buffs your defenses to fire
He does buff dmg too 💀
@@Nsg-Amv he does not. Increases your def as well as your fire resist.
@@Nsg-AmvNo, they looked into the code. It turns out, his ability description really was a typo. He provides a buff to your fire defense, not offense.
@@Tommy9834
They REALLY need to fix that.
It’s a typo, so it’s easy to not know about it
A reason I really love having a Ragnahawk with speed increase passives is that it can fit through every opening in dungeons. Works so well for zooming through dungeons quickly.
The piano on 5:20 is amazing :O
My Bro Nizar's channel is growing. Well deserved.
My ore prduction base has like 6 of them.
the only reptyro i have has work slave, so I let him be as he's designed. I like him too, doesn't eat that much either.
@Nizar GG
10:25
how do you point at a target?
Tombat: I use my high speed flying Vanwurm and see everything from 100 meters above. Tombat is strictly mining for me.
Warsect is amazing. That pal alone is the reason I was able to get my first legendary Frostallion before I hit 50
Vanwyrm has taken me through this whole game so far (lvl 42 right now)
I accidentally created my 1st right on top of mammorest spawn area so I really need a strong fire pal to make my base safer
Faleris?
Surprised that you didn't mention that you can get Tombat in the easy areas as an early game level 2 miner. Witch helps out a lot for early game mining metal at your base.
I subbed after that whole book cover/judge part, couldnt hold it 😂😂😂too funny
Definitly gonna try that OP SUPER SAIYAN MONKEY THAT GOES BOOM! THATS INSANE BRO!
Actually useful stuff. Nice!
14:15 Yeah, I'm not turning ANY PAL OF MINE into a suicide bomber, thank you!!! But, I will rank him up regardless.
..and here I am with tombat and vanwyrm as my mains... still, didnt knew one could stun-bomb with the hog.. good to know.. as for all others on that list, I just have yet to catch one..
I love Magnahawk, Beakon, the little wiggley weasel dragon for changing my damage types, and then obviously Jetdragon for speed xD
I then have Anubis for crafting purposes
I'm doing a playthrough where I can only catch alphas or luckies and everything else has to be obtained through hatching eggs, merchants, breeding or rescue. I got a Tocotoco and after destroying Zoe and Grizzbolt with the grenade eggs I was like "Omg why haven't I bothered with this pal before????"
i love ragnahawk for the fire damage and being small but i hate any flying mounts that need doubletap to fly
A lot of people don’t know that player damage builds is the most dps you can achieve in game.
@t.hokage9748 Works for me, as I was mostly relying on myself at that time anyways. A good amount of times, my pals would just get stuck in a loop while fighting, so I just had to whip out the sword and... wait. Why is there no Legendary Sword!?
@@t.hokage9748ehh, I like watching my pals fight though
Bro that editing is dope, easiest sub in my life
Flambell the little Candle makes Flame Organs at the Ranch.
I forget the name but there is a fire horse that is the same as the ice reindeer but instead of always cooling you, the fire horse always provides warmth. He also has a charge attack and is a pretty fast ground mount.
Where is your Playlist to Palworld gone? Can you add it again, please.
Tombat is invaluable when getting 10 of each pal for XP gains.
nice video my guy
God Dang?! Good stuff! ye-ye!
If youre looking for flame organs Flambelle gets them for free in a ranch. I used it to bulk make flame arrows early on cause I got one from a syndicate camp.
I noticed you could command Buushi to attack ennemies, how did you do that?
What's the command/key, etc..? thx
Pyrin Noct is fire and dark type. Is naturally one of the fastest ground mounts in the game and gives you dark damage when mounted.
Do you also have the issue that you cant fly with vanwyrm, even if you craft the saddle several times?
You have to double jump with some of them, its a lil silly since it doesn't tell you about that!

I wish I was at a point I could enjoy playing with any Pal for fun, currently the only thing I'm doing is killing Paladius and Necromus endlessly hoping I get the last legendary armors.
Flame organs - flambelle in farm
Pal fluids - have orserk in your team and go to pengking fight, enter and call out orserk (make sure it's on passive) then ONLY kill penguins NOT THE KING, collect fluids and LEAVE (as in exit the boss arena) and enter again. Rinse and repeat
small tack on for Orserk people, you can also goto Gobfin turf once higher level and he can just rampage through them all.
I’ve been on the bushi train since I got him so op, me and my friend have been breeding the perfect one for a while now
My first bushi boss capture came with msuclehead and fierce. I was like HOLY WTF!
Some of these pals only appear at night and I find that night passes really quickly in this game. What setting should be used to make night last the same length of time as day?
They naturally rotate the same amount of time.
@@preemptivefaceplant5277 really? Night seems to pass really quickly to me
Azurobe is underrated as she functions similarly to ragnahawk but is a ground mount. Went into blazamut's lair with her and 1 gobfin and 1 kelpsea (unleveled) and ripped the soul out of that mutt
Too bad for the sound.
barely notice it. she's only out when it's time to fight, by then i'm too distracted. i do notice afterwards but then she's going back in the ball already@@Drazil100
Do you plan to make videos about last epoch?
Ragnahawk is great. Once I got my jetragon, I put my ragnahawk back in my default team setup.
Maybe Mossanda is secretly an alien who abides by different laws of physics.
I used Reindrix against Axel and Orserk, I had two backup pals but Reindrix lasted the whole fight.
don't kelpsea stack with Ragna, go Gobfin instead; Kelpsea partner skill specifies "pal" damage, so it doesn't change your weapon damage.
Trouble is Chillet/Dragon doesn't have any booster Pals like the other elements. So with Chillet you only get the 100% boost from Max Chillet.
Thanks for the Gobfin tip! I love using my legendary AR and didn't know I could buff it further other than having Vanguard on the pals 😀👍
what i dont like about this list is you have to give up mounts with a lot of them just to make it work.
I just bred my Ragahawk into a speed demon. He’s amazing!
Good Job on the video keep it up...
Tocotoco is how I caught all my legendaries. Dude is broken.
You don't need to farm Flame Organ, traders sell them fairly cheap. Same for bones and several other tedious to farm materials.
Because only a few pals really matter in Palworld. And a lot of the stronger ones are found at the end of the game when you’ve already found an early game pal that’s strong enough to basically carry u through to the end.
Sure u could get them through eggs. But then u might as well get the 3 best pals
I use vanwyrm as my current mount, but in fairness, I found a lucky one and like riding on a massive bird :3
When I used Mossanda, it's outwardly power with the grenade launcher was very underwhelming and it eventually left the party.
I’m 100% gonna start using tombat now
How did he get the Legend passive on to bushi?
Breeding down.
Fun fact: Tocotoco is a milk tea brand in Vietnam
Alright.
Wow thank you
i have both Tocotoco and Gorirat fully condensed, Gorirat with primal fury's power is merely a fraction of Tocotoco. I have both fully condensed, both has musclehead+ferocious+hooligan, but still Tocotoco is magnitude stronger than gorirat with primal fury
what's with the SunnyV2 style? what happened to the normal stuff

How do you use your gun while mounted
Zoom in. It's hold LT on Xbox.
... if you swapped out Lucky for Celestial Emperor on Gorirat you'd get the 50% raw ATK boost for all its skills, then a 20% boost to that 50% for the neutral Megaton Implode 🤔

Bro my friend laughed at me when I told him that jolthog is OP than i showed him what i mean by OP and... now he has pocket jolthogs 24/7 lol
does player attack increase tocotoco damage on top of the neutral pal passives ???
I dont believe so.
i could be wrong but i don't think element attack passives effect partner skills (tell me if im wrong) for toco-toco atleast. i did some testing with level 24 tocos and one only had celestial emperor (+20% to neutral damage) and the other had legend (+20% damage, def and 15% movement speed) my celestial toco had something like 280 attack and my legend toco had a little over 300 BUT if you go over the attack stat it shows the stats before and after passives so with legend it was a little over 300 but without it it had less base attack than my celestial and the element damage buffs are not shown on the attack stat so with passives it should be cele toco with 280 + 20% element buff VS legend toco with 300-310 attack counting its legend buff and the legend toco out damaged the celestial by a lot
