This is sooo helpful. I have several friends that I'm trying to get to understand the incredible capabilities of amp sims. Sharing this video immediately!
WHY can't just one Amp Sim online or Amp Modeller make a NON FIZZY smoother sustaining rock distortion? I think I heard one in the BOSS Pocket GT once....everything on line is fizzy or fuzzy(I hate fuzz box sounds)
A great video again. Any chance of doing a list of bass amp sims? We lords of the low frequencies always seem to be a neglected afterthought by VST makers.
For some reason I get random buzzings when using Amplitube. It's not from my signal and it doesn't happen with Amped roots. Does anyone had a similar issue?
Ik its been 2 weeks, but this is due to not enabling the free trial for the specific pedal, amp etc. Anything that you have on that is locked will occur with a downside of buzz every 5 sec or so.
I installed ignatia emissary and crunk v2 in fl21... But both of them are sounding to much gains... Means humming sound... What should I do? Please guide... Should I add any extra effects on that or not? Please reply... ❤️🙏🏻
What I look for with great interest is a virtual (VST) amplifier for CLEAN guitar. Distortion and overdrive are easy. Much more difficult is to find an amplifier for great clean sounds. Don't you think so?
@@AudioTechTV Thank you sir. By the way, I have recently bought an audio interface Behringer UM2. I watched one of your previous video about installing the audio driver. I followed exactly as you explained and it was done easily. Thank you so much for your wonderful explanation about its installation.
The ignite emissary can get you some great heavy tones. You’ll need to use a cabinet sim with it but it is very versatile. Also the Amped Roots sim can do heavy really well. You should also try Amplitube as it has some decent amp models for heavy tones too.
can you please help me, i have got amplitube 5 installed but i see no way to open and actually use it, i just got my guitar and focusrite today but im completely lost in how to actually use any of it, i just cant seem to get to hear any of my guitar
When you installed Amplitube did you install the standalone version? If you did then there might be a link on the desktop and/or in your start menu. If you just installed the plugin then you can go back and reinstall, making sure you select standalone, or install a piece of multitrack recording software to use the plugin in. Your Focusrite comes with Ableton Live Lite which is decent but limited to just 8 tracks. You can also check out Tracktion Waveform Free which is completely free and not limited. Then you can use Amplitube and other plugins in that program.
Hi. Thank you. Most of them I know, but a few I need to check. What about the NAM? Everyone ist talking about the free ToneX alternative. What do you think? Or is it not free anymore?
It’s still free. They say it’s still in Beta and there might be bugs in some DAWs. I didn’t want to recommend something that could crash somebody’s projects but give it a try if you want.
Any DAW that allows you to use VST plugins and audio tracks which is pretty much all of them. A few free ones worth checking out are Tracktion Waveform Free, Cakewalk by Bandlab (it’s still free at the moment), and UA Luna.
“Amped Roots Free” is free. It’s in the name. However there are some presets that they allow you to try and they are part of the full license. I’m pretty sure it shows which ones are free and which ones aren’t. As long as you use the free amp (the 5034) then there are no drop outs.
Roots is indeed FREE but comes with an amp suit, as long as you don't switch from Roots to the other amps on the list it will work 100% and for free. I have used it on many recordings and its worked perfectly, the pedal board the cab section everything. Just do not use the other amps in the amp list of the software
Ryan’s plugin is legit. I like that it’s a unique amp so it’s not like all the Marshall JMPs and other common amp sim sounds that are out there. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
I tried to download amp farm not long ago. It wasn’t even available to me even though I have a license lol. I wanted to compare how it sounds to today’s sims.
i tried downloading emissary on my mac, but I cant seem to use it in garage band. i go to audio units in garage band but it doesn't show up. am I installing it wrong?

The ML Sound Lab Amped series are the best that I tried so far .. they are amazingly clean and accurate !
This was my first time looking up plugins and roots, epoch, and rockrack were great choices for me thank you!!
Glad to see ToneDeluxe amp sim on this list. It is great for clean sounds as well and works great with third party IR's as well!
Outstanding selection. Thank you so much for doing all the heavy lifting and bringing this to our attention
I hope you find something useful from these. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍

free sims have their place but they are not as good as the paid! the quality is huge in the difference!

just what i was looking for. thank you so much!

This is certainly my experience with free amp sim VSTs.
True lol
brother you dont know how helpful this is, thank you bless you forever
Thanks for the reviews on the amp apps 👐
❤ Great video! Thank you. What’s your favorite amp sim? Seems weird that someone modeled a transistor Marshall, eh? 😮

Excelent and very helpful job as usually in your videos. Thank you!
Awesome! What do you recommend for slipknot songs and Killswitch engage? I got Mick Thomson's guitar and I want a nice amp for it!

Glad you enjoyed the video. I hope you found one or two useful amp sims from it. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
thank you so much
Thank you so much
Epoch is hot garbage, messed up my whole audio interface audio outputting, terrible plugin.
how is that happen??

Guitar lol
Did somenoe know why my fl studio want to see this ignite amp??
Do these work in reaper Sarge?
Yes they will all work with reaper.
@@AudioTechTVThanks my bro!!
Roots is not free. It is a trial. Sound is cut off periodically and there is a popup asking for a key.
I was more interested in tonelib metal, but it didn't install any vst's, so not going to try gfx

Man...why mess with mic'ing when you can get these sounds.
Tonelib just amazing.
isn't there any free version of Bias FX??
Sometimes they give away Bias FX 2 LE but it’s not always free.
Yeah, sorry, dude, a few weeks ago they gave away this version...
@@eDrumsInANutshell yeah I saw they gave it away briefly. If you got it that’s great. If you didn’t, don’t worry they will give it away again.
@@AudioTechTV I check out your channel often....if they again starts giveaway please make mention in a video that time.
@@debayanchakraborty7635 yes, please
Amped Roots is the best of all them

How do I get all this on my laptop
We come a long way since Amp Farm.
I tried to download amp farm not long ago. It wasn’t even available to me even though I have a license lol. I wanted to compare how it sounds to today’s sims.
I downloaded Amplitube it was just a weird virtual guitar piano midi thing..?
That doesn’t sound like Amplitube.
Bro NAM is the future
Cool. I hope you enjoy it.
With that said, I still use the Roots and Crunck amps here all the time. Great video dude.
@@roycebuckmaster1681 for high gain stuff both of those amps excel! Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
Are you planning your 100K special? It's gonna happen real soon! lol 👍👍
I’m trying to think of some ideas for it. Thank you for continuing to watch and being a part of this.
@@AudioTechTV 100K... You don't get that many subs cuz you are lucky...You're channel is AWESOME!!!!
idk why but the crunck v2 setup literally just creates an empty folder lmao
software name?
The program that I’m running the plugins in is Tracktion Waveform.
all the kids are like "what's winrar?"
Nam + tonehunt
tonex sounded the best
Tonedeluxe is outstanding for a free plugin. Very versatile and takes real pedals well.
i tried downloading emissary on my mac, but I cant seem to use it in garage band. i go to audio units in garage band but it doesn't show up. am I installing it wrong?
I am trying to figure this out as well. Did you get it to work?
