Love the truck but my heart weeped when ya chose fleetside. My first vehicle was a 68 C10 Custom Stepside. It was so beautiful. The curves, I miss them.
Great video. I've got a 1972 GMC pickup I am going to do something similar with for the fall/winter. Nebraska sure isn't forgiving to the classics but they make literally everything for these at least
Builder from out of Beatrice! Moved to Idaho, left a gold mine of project cars in your area! First stop,...Wymore Nebraska! Actually, Blue springs Neb. There are two rows, ( a quarter mile each) of mostly 27 through 47 ford , chevy, dodge complete cars! Including a 37 Chevy cop car, with a very rare two one barrel CHEVY intake manifold hooked up to that cop car! Next stop,...Washington Kansas! CHECK EVERY JUNK YARD!! I ran into things like a 1/2 ton 46 Chevy Ice-cream delivery truck! A pristine 51 Chevy two door, and a 65 Chevy Nova 2 gasser a local car lot owner was building with Speedway motors parts! What am I working on!? 1974 Chevy K/20 Suburban with only 71 grand on her! We call her " Big Nose Kate "!
That’s what I wanna see. I have a 68 dually that’s in pretty good a shape except they rattle canned the paint with clear coat and it’s all flaking off. But she’s had to sit outside so that has a bit to do with it.
Loved it. Can't understand that drive, seems like a waste of time. And why does everybody always push right to the last minute to get things done? Good looking truck.
After watching this build I would have changed 3 things as a preference. #1 bench seat, #2 left the steel wheels with the chrome centers, and #3 painted the body a dark ghost green. I hope someone drives this truck so it doesn't sit in a showroom.
Great video. Did you have any more footage of removing all the body and cab removal ? At this stage when you’re putting the frame back together were all the nuts and bolts all stainless ? How would one (me) figure on the nuts and bolts grade ? I’ll most likely have other questions as you go through the rebuild. Thanks, Steve
We live on the other side of the metro area from the apartment complex. Tonight my wife went to the grocery store (Hampton & Sheridan), there were 3 EXTREMELY menacing men standing outside, watching, watching everyone. 2 of them were big guys COVERED in tattoos. Face and all. My wife locked eyes with the biggest one and shook her head, trying to tell him that she's NOT the victim they may be looking for. He immediately started walking towards her, the 2 other men right behind him. Luckily, she got inside before they got to her. She told the security guard that they were following her. He managed to chase them off. He walked her back out to her truck after she was done inside. I'm DEEPLY grateful to him for that! Like I said, we are nearly 20 miles from that complex. But we have little doubt that those guys were Venezuelan. No, we're not racist. We both have tattoos and notice tats on others. No doubt he had prison tats. Most very unusual for any American. They are taking over apartments in the hood and robbing in better neighborhoods. Our area is not high end by any means. But I know for a fact it's better than that part of Aurora. EVERYONE NEEDS to grow eyes in the back of their heads and PAY ATTENTION to who and what is around you at ALL TIMES! I have no doubt that these guys will fuck your world up if given the chance. Be careful people!!
Don’t understand why when people put in an LS they don’t paint it Chevrolet orange. I know they don’t come that way anymore but it looks better in this classic truck at least as far as I’m concerned
2 hr 50, why have you not broken this down into a 8 to 10 part build series, this isn't how you build a youtube channel. And why cant you keep the safety guard on a grinder?
Beautiful work guys Greetings from down under Australia
Man you guys yanked that truck out if that snow mound like it owed you money!
The only thing that would have made this project PERFECT.....IF YOU WORE FLANEL SHIRTS AT SEMA THAT MATCHED THE SEAT! 💜 From Minnesota 😎

I love how all the people that work there are, "Merchandizing".
Wow such a beautiful build
Right! The scrawny guy and the truck were cool too.
I've had my 68 C10 for about 30 years, it's still simple! Unless you make it complicated.
Great video. I've got a 1972 GMC pickup I am going to do something similar with for the fall/winter. Nebraska sure isn't forgiving to the classics but they make literally everything for these at least
Great job guys, gonna be a beautiful truck.......It's a shame to see that 70 ish Camaro in the back round rotting.
All that nice products and paint, and you use grade 5 hardware, and a 1/4” impact!
Thank you.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.
Hitch balls turn into projectiles when you yank on them.
Truck turned out 🤌

Majestuoso
Beautiful truck. I don’t know what kind of world y’all live in, but there’s nothing “budget minded” about it.
I really hope you guys shimmed that oil pump off camera..

What doors did you use? I don't see them listed in the build list. I need doors for my 72
I agree, plus it's nice when you have all the parts and tools.
😮 Hello 👋👋👋 how are u 🙂 smiles 😁
the only last cuestión is how much for a restoration like this and I’m not talking about parts in labor ? 🤔 any aprox?? 🤔
It’s always much more than you wish or expected
Are you going to unbolt and eliminate surface rust 🤔
Hand oil isn't the same as elbow grease
🙂

Anything is possible if you get all the parts for free. There are a lot of people who couldn't ever afford what you are doing.
Where are your air or electric impacts
This video just goes to show why these trucks are demanding so much money now a days.
1st you guys need some air tools! 2nd why wouldn’t you have welded all those cross members/v notch plates on?
Junk yard motor but left same bearings and was gonna use same timing chain. That blows my mind. Spent more in center chunk than you did motor.

Absolutely nothing about this build is “budget”.
I was just thinking the same thing. I guess they need to feature all of the products on their truck!
Half a millions still a budget for some one I guess
No battery impacts at a speedway?
Watching the guy use a breaker bar to take a nut off was painful.
At least get him a long handle ratchet.
You say budget build 😂😂😂😂 what’s your budget 200k
cut the music, there is nothing that exciting about the video
