Toyota prices have increased 19% on average the last two years I believe.
So increase all 4Runner prices by 19%.
@@americandude3825The SR5 with two wheel drive and no options will start at $43k probably.
Toyota knows they will sell all of them
I'll pass on this generation of 4Runner it's pure underpowered garbage for us off-road enthusiasts. That's probably going to cost like a million dollars to afford this underpowered garbage.
How would you compare the rear seat space vs the new Landcruiser?
I like it, but I don’t wanna see the price tag, especially when the dealers add their thieves tax.
i JUST looked at a dealership that’s adding $7500 dealership “demand” fees to 1958 Landcruisers
most people blow an extra 10k per year on drinks and dinner beyond what makes sense.
@@albundy3929 shouldnt have to give up everything else thats fun cause a dealership wants to mark up things for no reason
@@Commander_Aze There will eventually be some dealers who offer them at MSRP. I have a 2004 4Runner Sport that only has 185,000 miles on it - so I can wait.
@@Commander_Aze actually, a very valid reason. no one is forcing you to buy it. you can also wait and buy for less. or earn more so the markup doesnt bother you. or keep blowing cash without owning homes and having investments.
That color is killer
Agreed 💯. Looks amazing
That engine bay is a spaghetti mess😢
Pretty common these days.
but the engine cover saves weight. seriously, the Bronco's 2.7l doesn't look great either but who cares unless you drive with the hood opened.
Yep 😢
most engines are like that, its just a plastic cover would cover it up. it looks more messy than others because of the added hybrid.
You miss your widdle pwastic cover? 🥺
Saw the leaked photos and I love how the styling takes some inspiration from the 2nd and 3rd gen models
Same!! Love my 95 and 98!
Like Andre said from the front door forward is essentially a Tacoma having the exact same grill and headlamps even the ugly bottom front spoiler on the limited. I do see some heritage from the 3rd gen on the rear side glass where the trunk is and the pillar behind the rear passengers doors still remains which makes the 4runner one of the few SUVs still design that way even the sequoia lost that back pillar giving it a more crossover look
I do see some 3rd gen genes in that front bumper now that you said that.
Dude... it's 4th gen side profile all the way.
Great video guys! It looks like we will probably have room under the hood for one of our dual battery systems in the non-hybrid model!
What does the "Desert Air Intake" connect to exactly b/c it looked like the engine air filter box was not connected unless there was a hose running beneath it back toward the A pillar... or does the snorkel only connect to the cabin air intake?
Glad this gets memory seats. I still can't believe they left that off of the 2024 Tacoma. Litterally the only feature I noticed missing. Hopefully the 2025 Tacoma fixes that problem.
Ford forgot to put a dome light switch in the 2015+ focus st that had the optional sunroof. Pre 2015 and non sunroof cars got the switch
Dude, maybe you should drive a Cadillac?
@@JamesG1126 I'm all about eliminating things that might break down the line (as I tend to keep my vehicles for ages). So for me, manual seat, a key instead of a button, analog dash, a metal rod instead of struts to hold the hood, manual parking brak, are things that I look for whenever I look at cars or trucks
@@sydgerald hey gpa, how did you learn how to use youtube? if i were you i would ride a horse only
@@ike7539 funny that you mention a horse, being horses, donkies and mules the most capable 4x4 out there, so the joke's on you mate 😉
So glad I can sleep better tonight knowing that I made the right decision to buy a 2024. Hallelujah
After watching a few different 2025 4runner videos I think I'm starting to understand this vehicle. I feel like a lot of people are complaining that it lacks certain features like support for 35-inch tires, removable top, stock height that seems low, no front locker, etc. But from Toyota's perspective, the last version is still selling so extremely well despite it being outdated with its engine, interior design, and external features this new model doesn't have to innovate that much to move units. Previous 4runner owners will see this and immediately appreciate the updates and new people will be more compelled to invest in the new platform with Toyota's quality. Let's face it, this 4Runner doesn't have to be the best at anything, it just needs to be upgraded over the previous gen to succeed.
Toyota people will love this new vehicle and the Toyota haters are still going to throw shade no matter what.
The aftermarket upgrades will come and solve most issues people have.
Honestly I would have preferred they just stuck better Tech and a transmission with more speeds in it, but left this with a V6 gas engine. The older model was near perfect. That’s all it needed. (I am a Toyota fan by the way. I’m just not liking that they’ve moved ALL of their trucks and SUVs to this platform. Some of us still want a proven gas engine. The change to this singular platform basically leaves us with only choices on trim levels and body style, but the performance piece is already decided for us. That’s a bummer Toyota.
Thanks for sharing the payload. I know it's not out of the norm, just for a family of four and dogs plus a small trailer, that cuts it close. We'll be interested in final numbers when it comes out.
I took the 2022 trd pro to the volcano recreation area near Flagstaff AZ and it did great over jumps and whatever I wanted to do. Just didn't have the power. This one seems super practical for Arizona!! Can't wait. Love the design.
Can’t imagine what kind of “power” you need in an overlanding rig but add a supercharger. Problem solved.
What a surprise thanks guys!!!
Love how it looks!
The Cadet Blue is gorgeous.
Awesome thanks for the excellent review
I love the Tan color option with the black accents honestly this is the upgrade to the old version I was looking for. The dahboard redesign is exactly what i was looking for to modernize the look and feel.
$60k with a 730 credit score, you’re still looking at $1,080.00 a month! and that’s not before markups and insurance.
😂😂I stick to my 2015 Camry SE 4banger paid cheap for it fix bugs and problems runs good great on gas 😁
Entire car industry is about to blow up. Cars sitting on lots. No sane person would spend over a grand per month on a Toyota! They’re already taking 4 grand off sticker in my area.
@@angelgjr1999 facts and even used cars 😁
New cars are scams. Surprised leasing isn’t going through the roof for people that can’t afford to buy.
$22 dollars per hour minimum wages so 🤷. Just the way it is.
I don’t know how I feel about it. I expected more.
Expected what a w16
They have to keep it under the LC. If you want more, buy the LC.
@@new002oneI don’t even know how the LC is considered an upgrade. These are pretty much the same vehicle.
@@Christian-lw5vwthey literally are. I wouldn’t consider the LC any more desirable than these 4Runners. Maybe if the LC had more power or something but there’s nothing to justify its existence in the lineup other than its name. There’s no reason the Land Cruiser with two trims can’t have the hybrid V6 option and less luxury than the GX that starts at the top trim of the LC. I understand they’re in a hard spot here but these decisions don’t make sense to me
If you want more get the Land Cruiser. If you want more than that, get the GX.
Just bought a 5th gen and love it. I do like the air pump and air intake but do not want batteries in the middle of nowhere and what do you do in year 10 with the batteries? Not sure about the longer wheel base. If they offered a v8 that would get my attention.
I like it a lot, first car was a 99 4runner, would love get that feel back in the next few years
Am I the only one concerned about the payload? You have 4 adults, a winch bar, winch, some bigger rubber and you are over the limit... Not to mention towing a trailer....
The whole toyota lineup has bad payload. If people actually paid attention it would hold them back, but everyone just drives around overloaded and oblivious
895 lbs is pathetic. Id bet a corolla is around 8-900 lbs payload
For giggles, just checked my RAV4 hybrid payload capacity and it's at 900lbs 😆
@@NWI_Steelis it really only 895? wtf 😂
Probably measured with half tank. Speaking of which… what’s tank size?
If you think where the 4Runner ends price wise is where the Land Cruiser starts I think you’re a little bit off lmao, that Trailhunter will surely be $60k minimum, TRD Pro make it $70k
I agree, I think they’re making the LC the “entry” level suv. Trying to capitalize on the LC name sake, and most “affordable” rig to get out. Reset from the last gen big body one and separate from the LX.
trd pro more than trailhunter?? i dont know
Trailhunter is the top line of the 6th Gen, then Pro, Platinum, Limited, Off Road Premium, Off Road,
The way I see it is that Toyota could have easily not sold the LC (prado) here in america with the new 6th gen 4runner coming, whereas the rest of the world have no overlap since the 4runner is only in america. Most likely Toyota USA management convinced Toyota HQ to still offer the LC (prado) and they would manage to squeeze it into the lineup
Nah not 70k that’s the tundra TRD price range, but I’d expect 60k which is top of the range for the Land Cruiser. They should have put the tundra and sequoia powertrain in the Land Cruiser, and offered the 4Runner with a manual. The taco has a manual option the 4Runner should too.
Looks great! Especially liking that rear quarter panel window design, almost harkens back to the "Pick-up with bed cover" look of old 4Runners.
I am disappointed tho that they didn't lean into a more open-air experience (not necessarily a convertible, but a bigger sun roof maybe?), not just to better combat Jeep and Bronco, but also to better differentiate itself from the new Land Cruiser Prado, that sits on the same chassis.
Looks great, love that heritage blue on the Limited. 😮
Now if Nissan would bring back the Xterra.
Man, I agree.. I remember when that first came out. NOTHING has that look and it performed..
For reals, Wonder why Nissan stops selling literally the best vehicles they've ever made, those Xterras can go upwards of 500k miles they are bulletproof
I was waiting to see on what side this 4R will be, Tacoma or LC and I wish it had the elegance and simplicity of the LC look... The LC is big for me but now I need a baby LC and will forget the 4R.
6th gen has the same wheelbase as the new LC. This is 5” shorter in height but same wheelbase.
I agree. I was waiting to see this reveal before I committed to any new generation Toyota/ Lexus vehicle.
At these prices I’d rather buy the GX before any of the other Toyota SUVs. Although at $70k I don’t think I’ll be getting any. My 80 series is running fine at 171k miles.
i love the green and the kumico patterned trim on the dash for the limited!
I love the 2025 Trailhunter! I would certainly love to see it with a removable top, removeable doors and dare I say, a solid front axel!
I did a SAS on my 86 4Runner and loved everything about it!
Can't wait to see how the land cruiser stacks up to this!
Have a 2015 SR5, running like the first day. Thinking about getting the 2025. Don't cate about sunroof or hybrid. Great vid, thanks for the info.
Do the rear seats fold down flat in the trailhunter??
I’ve owned a 1st gen, 2x2nd gen’s and a 5th gen so far.
😬 I was really looking forward to this 6th gen 4Runner but right now I’m on the fence. I haven’t watched the whole video and spent a lot of time looking at it and I’d like to see one in person but maybe it’ll grow more on me.
Missed the best gen
Looks bloated. 5th Gen looks better imo
@@xTheOriginalx which generation is the best to you?
I’d love to get a first gen again even though it was a huge struggle on the highway and they rusted soooo easily here in 🇨🇦
@@angelgjr1999 ok so I wasn’t the only one who thought the proportions seemed off and some of the design choices but some of those design elements are also on the Tacoma and Tundra. I think I’ll have to see it in person but I kind of expected a little different but maybe because the 4Runner is the only one I really wanted for a while now. Whichever one I go with I’ll wait a couple years before buying anyways to make sure they work out any kinks.
That was me with the tundra. I have an 06 tacoma but shopped for a tundra and decided to wait to see the new one and was really disappointed.
Just bought a 2023 limited and I definitley prefer the V6 over the Turbo 4 cylinders..the five speed is ancient, but in my humble opinion the engine and transmission in my 2023 are bulletproof.
I have a 2014, 110,000 miles which is nothing I know, but not one problem
If Toyota is putting on 2.5 inch lift on TrailHunter, how did they keep the lower control arm and rear trailing arm level?
Looks really nice.
Love the big knobs.
Thankful they changed the location of the controls for the heated seats.
Hopeful the controls for the sunroof are now illuminated.
Glad (but unsurprised) they kept the sliding rear glass.
Hoping reliability doesn’t take a huge hit due to being all new.
I have few gripes about the 5th Gen, no gripes with the 4th gen beyond the silly overly complex climate controls and now am really looking forward forward to more specifics on the 6th and seeing the new models in person.
Hopefully the Hilux/Fortuner duo for the rest of us will receive an update or a new gen.
They could do a better job on the fender flares on the Trail Hunter.
Does the back seat fold flat on the one with the raised rear compartment. If I can just fold the seats down and sleep in the back I’ll make my peace with a hybrid motor.
That's very nice! I love the Trail Hunter model look. 🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I thought the new 4runner would be built with the Tacoma to be made cheaper. I guess it shares the Tacoma platform? Now it will compete with the land cruiser price
Taco(ma) Grande.
Toyota cleaned out the Pep Boys aisle and put every badge, garnish and accessory on this thing….What happened to less is more?
I was really hoping they kept the 40/20/40 rear seat split. Makes it so much easier to carry larger items like skis.
Pretty cool to have a new 4Runner. I'm a 4th Gen guy right now. I can't seem to get over the price tag of the new ones. I like the solid body. I don't want removable doors or a sunroof. I want structural integrity and RELIABILITY. I've owned 7 Toyotas and will buy another one eventually. Great video as always guys. Thanks!
Idk. I go back and forth on the looks. Kinda think the boxy LC and GX look better. We’ll see how these are priced.
I like this better because money.
same here, the landcruiser looks really cool to me.
The 250 Series looks so much better it’s not even close to this over-styled mess
It'll be expensive.
100% agree! LC and Gx is way better!
I was just hoping for a 4runner specific interior. Now it literally is a Tacoma with a covered bed. Still cool just wanted a little more
Th you wanted ? It works it’s nice what more do you want floating seats?
Get the Landcruiser then
Are they keeping the outlet in the center console too?
The trail hunter color & wheels are gorgeous! 😍
I don’t understand the new marketing strategy. For decades the Land Cruiser was the over built luxury vehicle that could do it all. Overlandinf/off road included.
The 4Runner was the reliable off-road capable utilitarian every day driver.
Now it’s like Toyota is making the 4Runner the poster child for offroad driving and the LC as the daily grocery getter that is capable off road. Wouldn’t surprise me for the TRD pro 4Runner to be more than the LC
In usa because in other country the king are LC and hilux
I agree, I'm confused. Or I should say, I remain confused. As I expected, why would anyone buy the new so-called "Land Cruiser" when this is coming out right behind it? Styling on this new forerunner is way more distinctive and refined than the Landcruisers IMHO. And the engines are the same right? Size wise similar..
The confusion in the US happens because Toyota decided to sell the Prado as the Land Cruiser which, out of the US, they are very different cars. But the Prado and the 4runner have always been similar (over the same platform but Prado with the turbo diesel engine and worst looking body IMO)
They really confused themselves
The new Land Cruiser is in North America because people still wanted a Land Cruiser. However, that same Land Cruiser, is known as the Prado in the rest of the world, which has rough and tough off-road options as well, and the rest of the world does not get the 4Runner. Sorry to let you in on a secret, but the rest of the world has very challenging off-roading conditions as well. Be happy you are spoiled for options in the US as you are every manufacturer's biggest market - that's why you get both. The old LC was just too inefficient for today's world, so Toyota had to make a change in size.
I sure hope it comes with cruise control as a standard option, someone could forget to option that in a new vehicle.
Shots fired
Andre is never living this down...
I'll be getting one of these
Be a nice vehicle there’s pictures out of it. Already trail Hunter with a snorkel that new interior looks great. That’s a lot of horsepower it’s getting
The one and only thing a 4runner had over a Wrangler and Bronco was reliability and I’m not sure it will have that with a turbo and hybrid system as well as all the added electronics.
They have been making them for a while. Can’t be worse than other manufacturers that are naturally aspirated (Chevy or ford trucks)
Yeah - a friend's 385K mile early year Prius finally bit the dust. She did routine mainenence for all those years. Reliability is in Toyota's hybrid DNA
@@spirithealershamanism Did that Prius do a lot of desert and river crossings?
Hope yall have pricing info. I don’t mind the look of the new 4Runner, but I’d get the new Land Cruiser.
I'll take a SR5 4runner for 10k less than a land cruiser.
@@mechmat1234550k for an SR5?!
They were saying roughly in the 60k range for this model.
Love it! Looks awesome!!! I’m bummed I have a 22 ha!!
I'm from Washington State. In 1983 I was just out of high school and my Uncle invited me to stay in Michigan. He owned (with other investors) Shush Mountain and Shanty Creek resorts there. I'll never forget his Jeep Grand Wagoneer! He let me drive it, and it had a 'car phone' in it, but even when I picked up friends, none of us could figure out how to make a phone call.
A v6 hybrid would have been sick. Or just the v6 with different transmission
great teal green color. love all the retro vehicle releases lately, reminds me of the 80s but 5X higher prices.
It looks cool . Just the price will it be more than LC?
In the grille I see a double hulk hogan mustache design niiiice lol
Engine reliability is a big concern here.
So much whining. I think the 4Runner looks sick. I just hope there isn’t a huge jump in price.
Price will be what makes or breaks Toyota I think. All the “America” car company’s are floundering right now.
Hope 😅
Preach!
It will start at about the same price as the Grand Highlander and Tundra SR5 DC.
I agree. Just like with the Tacoma. My friend (5th gen owner obviously) is saying "iT's UgLy" like dude shut up it doesn't look bad at all. That overlapping window that was on the first gen looks super cool. I made a video on the leaked screenshots.
I'm going for the Trailhunter! Excited to get one! Hopefully around 60k!
Probably 70k to 80k due to dealer mark ups.
@toasterstruddle3807 Hopefully, it's not that much. If dealers mark them up, I won't be getting one!
I'm with Roman on the More payload- would love a TRD OR with the Hybrid GVW- same on the Tundra: Entry level Access cab with the GVW from a loaded hybrid.

The Toyota community wanted the LC to return, I just think they missed the mark a tad because it’s literally just a 4Runner with a different body now.
By manipulating with the name like delete the Prado name so the normal buyer would believe it's a land cruiser with lower price
I won’t be surprised if the LC250 gets discontinued in America in about two years.

Wait till they see it will also come with a “widdle wadder"📈
Bingo😊
😂
Super happy they didn't give it a removable roof. I'd never use it and there would be less cargo space and rear seat headroom
Agree
disagree, should have done removable roof to compete with bronco and wrangler. many other hardtop rigs. hardly any convertibles.
@@WranglermanLevithere are zero body on frame, mid sized SUVs with a fixed top that aren't Toyotas.
@mechmat12345 aaaand??? since toyota has so many body on frame SUVs maybe they could consider making a convertible one.
Big issues I can see from an engineering and serviceability standpoint:
1. The hybrid powertrain battery not only takes away from rear cargo room substantially without a taller roof line than the last gen, but it drops the spare and the exhaust way down close to the ground. Not to mention, how does one comfortably put hundreds of lbs of gear and drawers on top of batteries - how can you even service it without fully ripping apart your rig?
2. The turbo adds complexity, this is much more of an issue than the hybrid part of the powertrain
3. Looks like at the first glance the fender flares are just cosmetic and the limitations that exist in wheel well arches are still there maybe even worse - for larger tires etc. These shocks are great eye candy but have zero adjustability, no idea if they’re rebuildable, and the springs they come with are clearly not setup for the weight of any light over lander even. Lift height is even lower than TRD pro
4. Brakes look tiny, no upgrade there from what I can see
5. There is less room in the back in every way - especially with sunroof
6. The way the back seats fold is like an LC200, it takes up a ton of space and isn’t nearly as flat as current gen. With a drawer system in back as an over lander, you are neutered in how you can use that 2nd floor as a loading space with the way they fold down
7. I’m sure that onboard air compressor is weak, and I’m even more sure the onboard hybrid 2400W power isn’t pure sine. The current inverters have such dirty power that you can’t even charge a battery backup with them - 400w or 2400w idk about actual power delivery on this thing. Let alone serviceability of it
8. EKDSS not being available is a huge suck
9. Full time AWD Torsen with center locker not being available except on street limited and platinum trims is a huge suck
10. For 8-9 you have to get a land cruiser for both, and neither the cruiser or the limited are setup for serious off road and overlanding. So you can’t have both factory lockers and disconnects and the full time awd and ekdss. I suspect that will be possible in an 85k trail hunter land cruiser trim. Sounds more like a Land Rover to me…
Smaller issues:
1. Rear quarter glass wrapping up like that is an accident waiting to happen
2. Power rear door is a nice idea if you don’t mount anything to it and add weight
3. No silly Tacoma suspension seats since it is Japanese made instead of USA
4. 18” factory wheels are too big with too little sidewall and “H!!!” lol passenger car rated “all terrain” tires for the TRD pro - so we still have to change wheels out for 17s and redo the whole thing, so minimum 3k dropped right there
5. The engine sounds like a Camry - rattly and pissed
6. The window is raked so far back with such a high hoodlike that visibility is much more narrow vertically
7. No appreciable size improvement - in fact rear wheel arches intrude as much if not more inwards than before
8. No revision to panhard or multi link system in rear really, in fact bolt diameters look smaller, steel looks thinner, everything looks kinda the same but a little less beefy. I’m sure the metallurgy is better with stronger or more efficient steel and welds though
9. Towing more but with no transmission cooler still
10. No driver side grab handle…guys..
11. Making a Tacoma refresh and form fitting 4Runner into it is a bit sad
Benefits:
1. More efficient frame and body structure
2. Factory lighting, wiring, and at least basic sliders (not sure of durability construction or mounting), skids and suspension
3. Aforementioned oem stuff means holes pre drilled from factory and a larger oem catalogue to order from. The holes will make aftermarket easier - part of the work has been done already
4. Obviously the interior space is more creature comforted and tech upgraded in all ways
5. Power tailgate - I know I said could be a negative but largely a huge positive
6. An adaptive suspension option is cool on street trims, if like the Lexus using electronic adjustment instead of air - it actually is bulletproof
7. Looks and all, but tbh it is very similar to current gen
8. Much more power and torque - as long as your turbo works and battery isn’t dead / electrical system fried
9. Hard to find a whole lot of pros for me over 5th gen, I know it’s ground up new but it feels incremental…
I’m gonna get one to go with my new tundra and Highlander. I really like the look of this.
That powertrain is scary to look at.😮
Man, hearing the engine Rev at the 5:46 mark, sounds just like a leafblower. 😂😂😂
hater. I bet you own Jeep Wangler or Bronco.
Yeah - the 4 banger will never sound good, and Toyota 4's are surprisingly crude and unrefined when you drive them. Pity there's no V-6 turbo option.
Yeah I’ll stick with the 4.0 😂
@@Soul_Flow_ he's not a hater he's just stating facts. I have a 4runner and this 6th gen is very disappointing. I could get over the fact it looks like the new Tacoma but the 4 cylinder turbo is just completely idiotic. They should've ran with the v8 or atleast v6 turbo if they want to go that route. Reliability out the door and cost of repairs to fix this thing will be outrageous 😂

I'm happy with my 2023 4 RUNNER. I suspect to have it for many years, but I appreciate the aesthetic progression of this new design. Though, I am not a fan of the black covers above the wheels. I do wish some of the styling questions set it apart from the tacoma, but I understand the alignment for production. I bought my 4 Runner primarily for the v6 drivetrain. I will observe in the coming years how these new ones behave. Well done Toyota! I prefer the styling question of the Land Cruiser to this, but all of the new designs with the trucks are pretty stellar.
We all pretty much knew that it was going to look like that.
The only options we want are V6 or V8
Would you know bed length vs a 2024 .
I'm 6"6 and a 2024 is double.
Are there any photos of the TRD Off-Road trim?
Love the Trail Hunter without the sunroof! Definitely in a different color and Despise the bronze wheels (threw up a little in my mouth when I saw them). Very intrigued by the onboard power and compressor though.
Subjectivity is always a funny thing, to me it was the best looking car I've ever seen! 😂
I'm a 4runner fan, but this time the Landcruiser wins hands down. I just like the front A-pillar design on the LC which is more boxy and chiseled. This 4Runner is good too, but that A-pillar is way too round and gives me Chevy Tahoe or minivan vibes 🤢🤮. I'm keeping my 5th gen, however, if I upgrade... It will be the Landcruiser. 🤷🏽♂️
IMO it depends on pricing. If it really climbs up into the 60K range then yea, I'm more interested in the LC or even the Lexus GX.
I like the gen 5. I don’t know. I was expecting something different for gen 6. It’s not bad, just meh. Great color though.
It looks like a scaled down Sequoia.
Love that color . Over-all the design is awesome.
Do we get a KDSS option?
Looks good.. just don’t know if I’m sold on the 4 cylinder
That 4 banger turbo is a manufactures thing to get you to come back shopping in 80k - 100k miles.
Second row is tight. Ugh, electronic parking brake...🤮 Did the 4 wheel drive break parking it on the rock?
On the 5th gen limited my biggest complaint was 3rd row air conditioning outlets, none available.
i watched many 6th gen reviews so far and i don't see them being added, here in Florida we need more air conditioning for the 3rd row seating.
I'm behind on the stream , has there been mention where the 4runner is being made
Japan
I like it....but honestly if you could get either a LC or this new 4R. Why would you get the 4R over the LC? Kind of seems like Toyota has shifted their bread and butter into the LC line.
7 passenger option? Not a fun fit but when I need it I need it. I was really hoping I could do a 6 or 7 passenger LC
It's longer than the 5th gen yet the photo of the second row seats looks like there's almost no legroom at all. Degraded approach and departure angles too. At least you're not forced to get a hybrid. Not sure on the aesthetics. No more fake hood scoop, that's a plus. Infotainment screen looks way too large. Thanks Forbes for the sneak peek! 😀
It's only 1 degree, worse approach, and departure, which isn't bad at all considering the sequoia and tundra's bumpers are pretty low to the ground
That’s what I was thinking as well. The second row looks awful tight. I can’t imagine fitting a third row as well.
Im glad they didn't mommify it
Look at that second row…. Damn that’s tight..!!!
It looks like it may be hard to use a hitch stabilizer with that plating around the hitch receiver.
Trailhunter looks sweet. I love that color.
Agree
I would think, especially when unveiling a new vehicle, you start out showing the fronr three quarter view of the vehicle. But then what do i know.
It kept you watching until the end, right? That was the point.
@@Queensizemusic actually I didn't. 😏
@@Queensizemusic btw, Doug Demuro did it right.
@@paulmadkow9143Doug's schtick is worn out
@@NWI_Steel dude's made some coins tho.
I would also choose the Trailhunter without the hybrid system. My girlfriend and I do some overlanding, and we sleep in the car. I don't like to sleep above a lithium battery and it takes much useful spaces too. I have a Santa Fe XL at the moment, in which I removed the 2nd and 3rd row of seats. I have built a sub floor to make it perfectly flat. In that subfloor, we store our solar panels and many tools. Anyway, the Trailhunter trim is very interesting. But the around 5" more height of the new Land Cruiser is also very tempting.
Solid redesign. Looks beefier and the Trailhunter trim is awesome.
