It looks like they did a pretty good job with it. Ive got a 5th Gen and i do like what theyve done, for now. We'll have to wait and see if these 4cyl turbo engines are robust enough to be as bullet proof as the engines they are replacing (V6 and V8). If i were in the buying mood (and might be in the next 2 years), i think i'd just stretch it a bit and step up to a Land Cruiser...Ive lived the T4R life for the past 10yrs...my next vehicle would either be a new LC and throw some 33s on it or a T4R TRD Pro as my plan B.

I gotta admit, if I was looking to upgrade I eould have to seriously consoder the 6th gen vs the land cruiser. Not sure thats a good thing for toyota that the two are so similar in size but the 4runner looks fantastic, the gas mileage is going to be sooo much better thsn the 5th gen, and the trail hunter package with the big inverter makes it a ready mad eoverlander from thr factory!

Yeah that’s a known issue with Sequoia and Tundra. Saw TRD Jon (I believe it was him, I’ve watched so many videos now 😅) sit in the back seat of the 6th gen and his head was almost hitting the back of the sunroof. If it had the pano and that frame was extended closer to the trunk, that wouldn’t be an issue in the backseat.
