I've said this a million times but every time I have anxiety I watch your videos and they call me down- something about your voice is soothing to my brain- and I sound real real real creepy lol
Emily Jones I see comments like that on a lot of her videos. Nothing to feel creepy about.
Emily Jones You've probably been told this a million times if you mention it so often, but I recommend ASMR, definitely someone like Gentlewhispering (Maria) or HeatherFeather.
Emily Jones nothing to feel creepy about lol I do the same thing. Emmy is always calm and cheerful and she always approaches things without judgment and gives everything a fair chance.

omg Mr. E... MRE...
😂
Sasha's Unibrow I thought the same thing right away. Also Mr. E ---mystery
I'm dying 😂😂😂
Hello Mr. E, Hello Eels
Sasha's Unibrow ohh I getvit
Well somebody beat me to it. I was considering sending you one out of my stash (still have about 30 of them left) but I was in service at the time (so not much of the free time) What I am going to do now instead is shining some light on the thing you just tried.
First off. As you probably may guessed it I am from Lithuania. Just finished my service in armed forces. Yes the MRE we use is as plain an basic as it gets. And there are quite a few very good reasons. Those are cheap to produce and easy to use. As well as more importantly for us the troops we don't eat them all the time in most occasions. We usually train quite close to our bases. That means shipping food straight from kitchen is more easy and cheap than use MRE's. (Nothing is more refreshing than hot bowl of soup after sleepless night outside during cold winter)
Now couple of the things you got wrong or did not get it at all.
1.That stove is for boiling water usually. (or making a stew out of the main course and some extra water/crumbs of that biscuit)
2. There was a red piece of tape to hold down the folded end of the heater so you don't have to do it with your hands. And in my personal experience its better to put in the box. (especially in cold weather)
3.That *zip-tie* is for the left over garbage. you put everything back into the original bag and zip-tie it so it will not become lose in your back-pack and make mess there with your other things. (we take care to not throw trash out in the forests, well at least I did)
And for the end is my personal experience with those things. They are OK when you try them for the first time. But it kinda sucks to live by them for two weeks. During our final and biggest NATO training we had to eat them for quite long time because we were far away from any kind of civilization. Even worse is that they all kinda taste the same. Biggest fix is any kind of ketchup. Or any kind of food to mix in. And yes that lemon drink tastes like crap (orange is better and cherry is just horrible) It is not even dissolving in warm water. and leaves that artificial taste. But still I prefer it over plain tap water we had to drink.
So here you go. Hope you will read this. And greetings from cold ass Lithuania.
P.S. Sorry for my English I feel it's not perfect because it's my third language.
240pixel I’ll pay you to send me one
Well your english is pretty good for being your third language 😂👍🏻
i want one
@Bai Mark pretty sure you're the jerk in this scenario.
@@emmettbattle5728 most of young people (born in the 90s' in Lithuania know at least three languages) well.... most of us still have to work with our 'neigbhours' All I mean't to say is Lithuania is awesome and you should come visit. end of sentence.
For those of you who have asked about the app I used in the video, it's Google Translate.
emmymadeinjapan it's not how you spell migdolai XD
LOL! I LITERALLY thought when you lifted up the lemon drink for "cheers" you said "grape juice" or "grape tears"!
emmymadeinjapan I'm Lithuanian and this video makes me happy :)
emmymadeinjapan Excellent video Emmy! I love this series too. Thankyou.😎👩
Personally don't use the camera translation feature, I prefer to transcribe the text.
Since Lithuania is a NATO member, it has English because that is the universal language of NATO.

Caseyorourke Lithuanians speak english tho i am XD
No. we speak Lithuanian.
I'm from Puerto Rico and during Hurricane María, all Island lost power and water service, communications were down and food was scarce so we were given boxes of MRE's so we could survive. I can remember the excitement of tasting new MRE's each day! It was a sad time for us but we got to experience so many new things and got closer to our family, friends and neighbors! ❤

I love how she always uses an Opinel knife to open the MREs... staying true to the experience lol.
ive been waiting for Lithuanian anything for a while now xD so glad.
Rokiii same😂
Rokiii yup
Same :DD
I won't be able to sleep until I find out what that zip tie is for.
i think its for the beverage packet cause she didn't use it all at ounce
It's got multiple purposes. To tie up unused food for later or for you to stuff the trash in the main bag and zip tie it so you can store it until you're in a position to dispose of it.
Lord Janik. i agree
Lord Janik Makes sense although a simple twist tie(s) seems more practical and there reusable.
Michael Foster zip ties are included just because... no perticular reason for it
Wow 1000 views in 9 minutes wow I think your doin pretty good Emmy
1671 gaming Definitely! :)
they are from lithuanians :D
Neda T yeah I'm lithuanian
same
"A little bit of suffering involved." 😂 totally laughed out loud.
when i was in army, i eat this shit aswell.. :D believe me- after one week in the forest, eating this- you dont need a toilet paper anymore! :D :D :D as i remember there was 10 different tastes, and most of them are pritie good, depend on your own taste :) if someone doesn't like some tastes- we were swaping these packages with each other :))) it was awsome time :) it was nice to see an opinion of person from another country about our military food :)
Shoutout to all my fellow Lithuanians 👍🏻👍🏻😎
Nice to finally see something Lithuanian :) When I get more free time, I will go and look for some Lithuanian sweets to send :)
ForgetMe Please do! I want to see Em' react to the flavourless Gaideliai cookies xd
I'm lithuanian and part of the @emmymadeinjapain for 3 years now and it was the first time she tasted something from Lithuania. It was so nice to watch this. I should send you something immediately :D BTW. Some candies from Latvia are made in Lithuania too. ;)

I never write comments but the way you talked in Lithuanian just killed me :D As a Lithuanian i love when people from other countrys try to speak in lithuanian. It is just so funny:D You just made my day Emmy! :D
How can you not LOVE this women...she is so down to eat and try anything regardless if it tastes good or not...and she will go back for a second bite to describe for us the taste 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love that whenever emmy tastes something normal or even not that good, she never forgets that it’s an MRE and are mostly included for conveniency and practicality
I really loved when you said a few words in Lithuanian it definitely made my smile :)
Years later and our mre still looks pretty much the same 👌🏻❤ I've eaten so many at this point that it's almost like a regular lunch! Really fun to watch this!
What is that gorgeous nail polish?? Super pretty!!
Emmy is so adorable!!! I love her and I love this series!!
Yeeees! I love the mre testings 😍
omg i miss these tasting videos so glad to still be here with your new stuff too!
Your voice is so calming 💛
Oh the memories. My dad use to buy these stew packets from factory where it's actually made ( if there is any defects on labelling it's not allowed to use it in mre or to be repacked, so company was just selling it on low price ) the one with rice stew(plovas) is the best in my opinion :D
The wet nap has a cute anthropomorphic lemon on it, which always makes it better, in my book.
I just love your videos. The way u taste the food. The crunch when eating crackers.
Greetings from Lithuania, Emmy! I love your videos! :) My cousin is a volunteer in the military, so I tried this ration too, actually. At first I was sceptical, but then realised that this food is good. :D
As i already mentioned on a similar video, the zip tie is for the trash, you put all the left over garbage into the original bag tie it with the zip tie and don't leave a mess behind you.
Lithuanian myself here, great seeing you try some of our represented food, Emmy! :D
Hi! Love your channel! I just got super into mres and just bought my first Lithuanian ration. I love seeing other women who are into this also!!
I'm so excited for this
your voice is so calming :)
Did you notice the sticky tab on the ration heater?
I'm almost positive that's what the red spot was peel it back and it's tape to hold the flap.
Heater Meals used to (not sure about now) used to have the same setup.
Good Video!
I love watching your videos:)

I LUV YR CHANNELLL!!!!
greetings from Lithuania! I really love you and your videos!♥♥♥
i love your videos!
I am so sad that i have watched all you MRE tastings. I would describe the feeling to be like when friends had their last episode. Please do more of these videos :)
YAYYY! One of my favourite RUclipsrs, in probably my favourite series, eating MY COUNTRY!!! Gero Apetito (btw, pronunciation is quite on point! My big tip is to pronounce it more the Japanese way, than the English way as in it's read the way it's written).
If you get some large paper clips it will help. Put the water in the heater and fold over then use the paper clips to keep it closed. I don’t use the flat kind, but the heftier type that you squeeze the handles that opens it up and release to close. In the field they have many uses.
I can watch this play list all day!!🥰
I love have you are such a safety counsel....I love your videos
awesome!! love you!!
MsPatu89 d
I can't believe she actually said Gero apetito! She is awesome :)
