Thank you for this review. It could have been tiny bit faster when it comes to intro. Still great review. Just the timestamps in description are a better review than most other RUclipsrs :-) When you've mentioned using it as a 3d 180/2d 360 camera do you mean there will be a dedicated mode for it that will synchronise it etc or just using it on their own and then stitching the footage manually? As always great video. Thank you for all of your work. I still hope there's some cameras for consumers that will let me exploit the resolution of Quest2 with 180 3d.
Thank you for the feedbacks!! For the VR180, it will be manual sync for now. Hi there I have a one x2 but I feel like this seems better for my use for my daily works and travel video as I find myself mostly using 180 for my x2 Do you think I should keep or sell my x2 for the go 2? Transfer speed even on wired for x2 is quite slow too that's why I am considering the go 2
For my use of filming track days, the biggest downfall is limited internal memory and that you need to upload vid first to mobile phone. I do not have 32 gb free on my phone (filled with other stuff, so barely 5gb of free space). If I want to film let's say 2 x 30 mins @ 1440p , I have to first upload one vid to phone in order to shoot the second one, then upload again to phone and then decide which one is better, that I will use. I would prefer direct transfer of files to PC with USB-C or with some kind of OTG to external portable hard disk
@@CyberGasty i have the same concern too , we might just miss some important moment if it's out of storage , and it takes sometime for us to choose and transfer / delete the footage, it will be super great if it's able to add a sd card,
In the nightclub footage when you talk about a sport mode to limit shutter speed going below 60, does it mean there is also no option to manually set the shutter speed to 1/60 or 1/100? I need to record a lot in exactly that kind of light conditions (moving around handheld) and I can accept very dark/grainy footage as long as there is no blur
Yes you can. But I don't find as practical in real life situation is use it with the case. I rather use GoPro as the case is not in regular shape and as big as a One R. The point using the camera it is its size.
Perfect review. I’d wish that X2 has a magnet body mount or something because it is much better in terms of specs, but I also need an easy chest mount to capture daily POV videos.
Haha there is actually. Check out this accessories review - there is one way before Go 2 - in fact GO 2 is kinda copy its design and idea: ruclips.net/video/hfCrWYFhJ8s/видео.html

Thanks Hugh 😀 So can we expect a new 3D camera in the near future, be it consumer, prosumer or pro? Anxiously waiting for that!
working like a pro
Thank you!!
"Size should not be the reason why you buy this camera"... what? Unlike other action cameras, I can film with an handle, with a tripod and with an attachment to place it on metal surfaces ONLY carrying it's battery case in my pocket.
